- A bubble bath, a soothing shower... oh look, a Crochet Loofah. This is a 4 round project that is really so easy, it could be classified as beginner level project.
The first round is 25 single crochets. Then the next 3 rounds gets 3 double crochet in each stitches. At the end, the final round has 625 stitches. It's what makes it so full looking.

I made one not too long ago with the recommended cotton yarn. It looks great when dry, but I was not impressed using it: it is heavy when soaking wet and falls apart showing the innards, does not really foam up my shower gel but sucks it all up, and takes ages to rinse free. Should have just made a hand wash cloth.
Can you please crochet the whole set on video? I love this for holiday gifts❣️Thank you for this.
I love it. Looks like a crocheted brain. Lol
NICE.!!
Where are the instructions for the other items in the Photo thumbnail.?

When he says “leave it somewhere it will dry” what he means is “this will not air dry”. I used it three days ago and it’s still damp! Save yourself some time and yarn and crochet something else
Unfortunately body wash added to this wet loofah doesn't foam up it only gets absorbed. Beautiful bathroom decoration, though.
They are fun to crochet and look at but functionally, it’s awful. Doesn’t lather and doesn’t dry before your next shower. Unless you want to put it in the dryer after each shower.
I have been making these for awhile and I can only afford acrylic yarn and it works just fine I take baths with them myself it has a good scrub affect it takes a little while to dry and their washable as well they ladder up real good they're just a little harder to rinse.
tamika young Walmart has cotton yarn for 1.50 it’s a small ball but I can make 3 small wash clothes out of it
@@jeannielautenschleger9984 thank you
Yes I was wondering when he said cotton only why an acrylic couldn't be used. I can't see it staying wet longer than 100% cotton which holds moisture.
Most addictive pattern ever!
I already know who I'm making this for. It's 7:06AM WAITING for Joann's or Michael's to open. LOL!
Pegas de Natal
I just finished one and only needed one ball of lily sugar and cream. I didn't have a 5.5m hook so I used a 5.75 and it worked perfectly.
Where can i find the hand mitt and tray
Love it❤. Quite a bunch of stitches!!😂 and I get a higher number than you. Round 1 is 75, round 2 is 225, round 3 is 675, then round 4 is 2025. So 75+225+675+2025.
I wonder if it would work if you used the scrubby yarn together with the cotton....
I know I've seen a 'scrubby yarn' near the plain cotton yarns at my walmart, maybe try those???
@@dissodatore thank you! Picked some up a little while ago. 😊
These are really fun to make but I don't like them in the bath. They don't lather.
Crystal L Do you have to use a ton of soap before it will lather? Have you tried body wash? 😩. I was hoping to make a bath set for Christmas presents.
Made one, looked amazing, no fun to use, too bulky
I'm sorry you had a terrible experience with the finished project.
My husband loves it. Maybe you can use 8/4 cotton yarn.
thank you so much for this tutorial/pattern . I had been thinking about making a loofah but didn't realize how easy it is. I don't have a 5.5 so used a 5 mm hook.
Hello Mikey, I love the bathroom set at the start 😁 Erica x
Thank you. It's so fun. My daughter asked me to make one for her.
I'm making one right now.⭐️
Couldn’t you start the same with a magic circle??
There are several different versions 'out there'. The one I learned used a magic or cinch circle.
I love to make these with left over yarn and use as dog toys or give to a shelter.
even a cat would love to chase, I would think?
@@dissodatore They do, especially if you put a bell in middle 😻
What a great idea 💡. I will use my scraps and make them for shelters. Thanks for sharing.
Can you use this stitch to make a blanket with the loofa stitch on top to add texture?
Where can i find the hand mitt and tray
I cannot find the Mitt instruction, pattern anywhere. Why?
This pattern is so easy! Used a 6mm so it’s a little more “loose”
Gostei ficou muito linda a flor parabéns
@abbietooker I only needed one ball also. It was sugar and cream. I kept watching for it to run out, then I realized it was (super size), 4oz/200 yds.🤷🏽♀️☺️
I understand the first steps but how do you add 25 to the original 5? I'm new to crocheting
Another awesome pattern from Mikey. I enjoyed making this. I used Bernat handicrafter.
Thanks needed a Christmas gift idea 🌲🇨🇦 Eh
Very informative and easy to follow thanks for sharing!
Is there a video on the bath mit in the picture?
I was wondering the same thing. 🤣. I hope so.
If you click on the link you will be able to print out the pattern for all of the items shown.
I would love a video on the bath mitt!
Where can i find the hand mitt and tray
Will nylon work?
Very nice. Thanks for the great video
Very nice project. Thanks for sharing. Is there a video for all of the items shown in the beginning? Also I’m interested in seeing how you closed off.
you just slipstitch to the 1st stitch of the round.
That looks like fun for stocking stuffers.
I finally finished mine & used it the other day. Suds up okay but it's still drying! That's after I stepped on it, my hubby squeezed & stepped on it. Any suggestions besides not use it?
After ringing as much of the water out as possible, I put it somewhere I can put a fan on it or behind something that is blowing air. Only takes a few hours to dry. Hope that helps.
Dryer
Next project!
👌
You're welcome.
Procurando a luva 😢
Is there a pattern for the mitt?
There sure is. Here it is. www.yarnspirations.com/ca-en/bernat-crochet-spa-day-kit/BRC0501-002174M.html
Thanks Brenda K.
Love it❤️❤️❤️
Thanks
No problem
👍👍👍👍👍
I just bought a new bath poof☹️ oh well, I can still make some. I like the idea of music at the end of your video... It just needs to be lowered.. it's too loud and can barely hear what your saying. Light sounding music in the background would be better. xo
I love how you did your video! It was to-the-point and you explained it well. Thank you!
Thanks Wendi Kaye.
I'm so excited to make this. I didn't know it was so easy!!
