  • These simple crochet face scrubbies are shaped like flowers and are perfect for new crocheters. The free beginner crochet pattern utilizes single crochets and double crochets to create round face scrubbies with a scalloped edge. Since each flower scrubbie uses less than 10 yards of yarn, they're the perfect scrapbuster for your cotton yarn!
You can use these eco-friendly flowers to replace cotton balls or cotton rounds in the bathroom. I use my crochet scrubbies for removing make-up and applying facial toner.

I've made a few of these and the part where the first petal and the last petal meet doesn't look right... like those two petals are father apart from each other than the rest. Idk what I'm doing wrong

Hi there, if I wanted to make a larger version of this scrubbie, would doubling up on everything work out just fine? Or would I have to be more specific with my stitches?

It might work, but the more stitches you put into the magic ring, the more likely you are to have a gap in the center. To make it bigger, you could use thicker yarn, hold two strands together, or add extra sc rows before making the flower petals.

you never mentioned if the 6 double stitches is in the same stitch

Hey Louise! Yes, the 6 dc are in the same stitch. It's like an increase, but instead of crocheting 2 into the same stitch, you crochet 6 to create that flower petal shape
