That monthly dividend stocks video was one of the most popular on the channel but you told me in the comments, you wanted MORE! You wanted higher dividend yields and more cash flow from your stocks. So in this video, I’ll reveal the seven highest paying dividend stocks in the market. I’ll also show you how to find the best dividend stocks to buy and some of the traps to avoid. Then towards the end of the video, I’m sharing a cash boosting strategy that can increase your dividend yield on any stock by double-digits.

I’ll be counting up through the list of high yield dividend paying companies, all the way up to one stock that pays a 27% dividend yield. Now understand, you’re probably not going to make much if anything on the share price of these stocks. In fact, sometimes the share price falls on stocks giving so much back in dividends. The dividend will make up for it though and you’ll earn that cash return.
A couple of things you need to remember about high yield dividend stocks. Just because it pays a 20% dividend or higher doesn’t automatically mean it’s a good stock. Some of the highest paying stocks are that way because the share price has fallen so quickly but the dividend payment hasn’t been cut…yet! Please do your research into these companies to make sure you want to invest in them.
Always check the price history and the series of dividend history on your stocks. That will show you if the dividend has grown or been cut regularly. It will also help you estimate the total return on the shares, which may be lower than the dividend yield if the share price is falling.
If you like dividends as much as I do…and I know you do, you won’t want to miss these other dividend investing videos.

** Please Read! Just because these are the highest paying stocks doesn't mean you should rush out to buy them! Listen to the warnings I give in the video. I like the monthly dividend stocks in the previous video better 👉 ruclips.net/video/Rr4A51xoOZ0/видео.html but what do you think? Which do you like better, the lower yield stocks that maybe have better total returns or these higher yields that are riskier and may lose something on the stock price?
I like having a decent collection of monthly dividends of 4.5% or higher, and a few good quarterlies to offer the occasional boost. If you're broke, those dividends can be reinvested manually, targeting the stocks with the greatest percentage of current loss to maximize growth.
I think the overall payout is most important. Depending on the timing, you can adjust a portfolio to receive some payout monthly

Hi, where is the video with 12 stocks paying weekly? (I do not see it in description). Thank you
Do these dividends stocks ever run out.
It doesn't matter to me if a company pays monthly or quarterly. As long as I have invested in enough companies collectively that adds up to the amount I want to live off of each month. I'm good!

I bought ABR an MREIT a year ago for $3.96/share, it had a yield of over 30% because it pandemic-crashed. Now it's trading for over $17 and the yield normalized to 7.7%.
Congratulations! I envy you. I got in ABR in August when the yield was around 17%.

I am so thankful for this video and also Minority Mindset as well among a few others. So I changed my strategy in March and now I have earned over 21K in dividends, equivalent to working a second job at $21.46 per hour. I have already put in an order for OPP, as the ex-date is Tuesday 6/15. Also you posted this video on my birthday, so I am pleased with my present.
What was your initial investment if you don’t mind. MM is a great channel as well
Monthly is great, but I prefer the higher dividend. My plan is a mix of both :)

Hey Joseph, I was wondering if you could do a breakdown on funds like QYLD and JEPI? My dad is getting closer to retirement and I was considering looking into these covered call based etfs to add to his dividend funds. I would love a deep dive into these and to hear your opinion!
The Average Joe Investor did a break down on QYLD 4 days ago. Long term, it's a huge no for me.

Agreed. Awful advice.
Over half of these stocks have significantly cunt divided’s. One from 20% to 1.4%.

It’s okay if you don’t agree with this type of investing. Many of us do agree. I put in about 80k, I have 20 positions in high growth stocks. Hi Joe. I like a mixture of monthly and quarterly dividend stocks. The best of both worlds: growth and income.

What do you think of mortgage investment REITs like ORC now that interest rates are rising?
How do u get paid out ? Does it go back to your Robinhood or in ur bank account? Thanks
Monthly Dividends is the most logical to work with for a fix income monthly.
I don’t ever want to lose equity. I’d sacrifice cash flow to ensure I’m not losing value.

I invest stocks for capital gains and lower tax rates. I invest in real estate for cash flow and inflation hedge
I work a full time job that pays weekly, so im less concerned about regular payments and more concerned about bigger payments regardless of when they pay out
There’s a mentality thing that says the rich and the smart choice would to take 10,000,000$ over 35 years slowly with regular payments rather than get a large lump sum , with the mentality off the rich you would just use the lump sum as an investment so if you have a steady consistent cash flow on the table as an investment that’s the better choice .
Where are the links for the bowtie newsletter and other links you mentioned? Thanks Joe!
My exact strategy, IVR weekly covered call options. Projecting about a 30% yield with quarterly dividends and premiums collected weekly.
Congrats on 400K subs. Been watching for a while and it's been great to watch the Bowtie community grow!
I own DHT. Been averaging down as needed the last few months while collecting the dividends. I also write some covered calls to juice the income. I wish the options on DHT were a little more liquid, but so far so good.
@@nightmark2120 it is the same company, but the dividend is dependent on earnings from the quarter. Not unusual in shipping due to shipping contracts being cyclical. I guess it is hard to maintain a fixed income. I think the yield in the video was probably two quarters ago, I don’t begrudge the info as presented, depending on the source it is an honest thing to miss. The 3% yield you mention is based on the most recent payout, after shipping rates had flattened. Last summer I had a payout that was over 40% I think!!! I don’t mind the fluctuations, I just add more in the $5 range.
I bought a couple of container shipping companies wondering if you can do a review I have Zim, GOGL, SBLK
what's more important to me is the dividend safety and uninterrupted steam of dividend income throughout the year...not Qtrly or Monthly payouts. I wish you would provide some "risk' analysis of each of your picks. High payouts aren't sustainable and are high risk of losing much capital. DHT = -14% 10-yr DGR; ORC = -16% 5-Yr DGR; NNA = -17% 5-yr DGR; MAGS = 1 dividend payout since 2004 per Yahoo dividend history; These are too risky for me. Thx Joesph
many of these securities stopped paying dividends before this video was uploaded. latest ex-dividend dates are as of Sept 2020 or Jan 2021. Just because it has high yield, doesn't mean you will receive that yield if you invested in them today. don't be fooled
Why not

ERROR? Is there an error on the dividend you mentioned for "DHT" (at 4:12) because I am not seeing that 17% dividend on Yahoo Finance not even in the historical data.
Personally I look at the total annual dividend yield, If it is Monthly, Weekly, or Annually doesn't matter much.
@@user00165 Easy fix, put it in a savings and take out a set amount each month for your bills and other costs.
Hi Joseph I looked up NNA and the stock price is down like 80% in past 5 yr. While it is nice collecting the dividend but you are losing money in price depreciation what is your thought
Great info, although I feel like you should have mentioned that quarterly dividend stocks don't all pay out the same months. So you can diversify your quarterly dividend payers with which months they pay out and still get a relatively consistent amount of dividends overall every month.

Buy these or sell cash covered puts, then get called and buy the stock, then sell covered calls ( the wheel stragegy)? Have you done a comparison?
It would be fabulous to have an update on these stocks, especially OPP (and RIV). They've fallen so dramatically, that it's scary and I'm too green to know whether to add more. I am a long term retired investor, so not selling out, but sure I buy more to bring my cost basis down? CEFs are hard to understand, but seem to be important for cash flow on a smaller amount of money.
Sold out of both yesterday at a significant (25%+) loss. Also of a lot of QYLD, which I finally bought after Joseph recommended it. Another expensive lesson.
I'm just starting out and have little to invest, so monthly dividends are what I like to dump more back in quickly.
Down with OPP! What a flash back! Thanks for the laugh! Also thank you for your continued dedication and insight! Another fabulous and most educational video. I was super excited when you mentioned covered calls on these. I already own ORC and have done covered calls a couple times successfully!

Great video i have a question. If I purchase FRO two year option contract and exercise it before exp date, do I get the dividends for those 2 years, or would i need to play shorter term and just exercise in front of dividend payout? Then if with the dividend payout it’s profitable, sell and use profits for another deep ITM call for the following years div date?
I thought FRO suspended all dividend payments last year. May want to research on it?

Kind of want both. Right now targeting good TSX stocks that pay monthly dividends, the higher the yield the better. Need to grow the account as quickly as possible. Quarterly not off the table, they can always be mixed and matched to effectively give monthly income.
Definitely, DEFINITELY ! Better to wait, even just 3 months to get a better return.
Monthly and quarterly dividends. Both will help grow my portfolio in order to have great dividends when I retire.
Please explain the new MAGS Dividend for 8/31/21.
As a farmer, I see things in seasons and years, monthly cash flow is not as important as annual growth.
Annual growth looks better on paper. Cash flow pays the bills. But to each their own!
Need the "por que no los dos" girl meme. The best of both worlds, Ill give you guys one of mine that is "best of both worlds" is ticker O (O realty). Last few days almost up 5 bucks, monthly div, 4.1 percent, 2.82 total annual. The issue is the stock price itself is rather high for a monthly div stock at almost 70 bucks a share. Hi Joseph, I'm totally confused. I had large holdings in DHT and FRO months ago, but dropped them when they ended their dividends. Are they offering them now>? TD Ameritrade says no.
I wonder too
New into dividend and was wondering when the dividend % would be the same, is there any reason to choose monthly over quarterly payouts or just a personal preference?
havent done stock that aid other stocks, now that would snowball, and ease my brain.
Monthly and quarterly work the best for me, but I think it just depends on a person's situation. I started with monthly payouts and then moved into quarterlies as I was able to stabilize my finances over about 18 months of heavy investing.

Interesting picks. Bit to risky for my liking. I picked up some PSXP earlier this year. Would like your opinion on this. Decent at ~9.8%, held the dividend thru 2020 and i see growth as well.
Joseph in what form should a dividend portfolio be set up? (A Roth IRA, traditional IRA, etc...) same question if I wanted to hold growth stocks similar to the Genomic and Fintech stocks.
