I love it. It seems like people build what they have. America rocks!!!!!
Proof you can make anything cool!!
You hit the nail on the head Robert.
Mike
Wow that thing definitely is quick!
My wife owned a '73 with the 258, we sure had fun in that little car..wink, wink!
lol...All right now!!!...That's a player that can get some in a Gremlin!!
I had a 73 gremlin with a 396 in it bought off a guy from Markham a couple years later he found me a bought it back, had a couple of memorable summers with it.
Cool...Thanks for checking this one out here!!
That v8 engine is a beast as well. Not many having the love it deserves haha
Glad You liked it!!
A small green mean machine. Most probably fun to drive too.
Looked fun to drive!
Needs a ls3 in it! LoL!! No really!!
An AMC with a AMC engine very nice!
Right on!
Man I l LOVE GREMLINS, my wife and I had one when we were married teenagers with two babies to keep fed and keep clothed. Ours was brown and had a big hole in the rear floor, it poured oil but it started everyday and got us both through college. This one is even the color i would choose, i would love to see one built to Ridler level, or Street Machine of the Year contender level. I have a 71 Nova SS, but Novas, Camaros, even Corvettes, and tri-fives being built to the highest levels are getting to be the same ole same ole, your the best ScottieD and you bring us the best, Thank you, Thank you, Thank, you!.
Glad you enjoyed it Brother....You are more than welcome...I really appreciate you supporting what I do!!
What a beautiful car!!
Very cool for sure!!
Nice car. I loved these cars since Waynes World.
lol...Right on...
Just bought a car model of the
Gremlin X. I think I am gonna base my build after this car . Yup,I like the looks without the front and rear bumpers.
Nice 👌 😎
Cool!!
I have always admired Gremlins & AMC, they were far unappreciated by some. Great post, Thumbs up .
Guilty...lol...Glad you liked it Brother...This one is way cool for sure!!
Very nice looking Gremlin.I had two of them about 17 years ago.One was A 1976 and the other one was A 1974 X type. Both cars were getting built and I put more in the 1974 X Car it had A 360 in it and all the body lines were all filled in and it looked a bit like this one .I was going to make it a good little hot rod, I got rid of both cars and I built A 1974 Plymouth Duster with A 360 in it.Gremlin's are A very great car to build and A lot of fun to drive.
Thanks for checking these out here!!
love the grem..
Cool...Thanks for checking this one out here!!
Hey bro. Gremlins are way cool. My mom had a 1973 Levi edition Gremlin Straight 6 automatic. The little car would scoot from the factory. AMC made a ton of them little cars. Problem was. They were rust buckets after about 7-10 years. That's the only thing about the. But ya, their way cool car. Thanks buddy. If ya see any more. Shot them man. I'll dig it ! Peace bro, Kev
Glad you enjoyed this one!!
First Gremlin I've ever lusted for. Thanx Scotty.
I'm with ya!!
Never But Never feel bad about shooting an AMC car. They were always under rated. I worked for AMC and had a Gremlin X and it was a great little car. They had some funny ideas but some ultimately GREAT race cars before their death. You should have seen the factory Gremlins doing wheelies on 6 cylinders. Oh I had a blast with my AMCs.
Oh and this little girl sounds Bad A**! This is how AMC management should have done it.
Mike
lol...Cool..Glad you liked it....Note to self...Mike really likes AMC's.....
Well , I was always kind of an underdog guy. Guess that is why I flat tracked a BSA 500 when everyone else had 2 strokes!
Mike
Right on!
I love it, my friend had a '74 AMC Gremlin in yellow and black, with a '68 AMC Javelin 390 V8 Edelbrock heads, intake and carb, big cam, Hooker headers, it hauled ass.
Cool....Thanks for checking this one out here!!
Sounds very good!
Does sound good!
Looks cool. The body fenders are stock on it. They actually flared out over the wheels. I own a 1976 and a 1977.
Cool..Thanks for checking this one out here!!
I would drive that. My mom and I saw a gremlin almost the same color and she was like wow I had one of these in my day right before she had her open gt. These are cool little cars.
I shot a Opal with a 6.0 LS in it this weekend to....Stick around.....
i love them little cars i have had 8 of them.one even had a 401 in it and it was so bad back in the day
Cool...Thanks for checking this one out here!!

AMC!
lol..Cool!
I always wanted a gremlin.... damn and they put a v8 in it?! Hell yes
I hear ya....Very cool!!
American Motors built over 25,000 factory V8 Gremlins. 1972-76
Still do? Mines for sale, deep red colour.
who would've ever thought ,,but then again ,a friend of mine has a pro street chevette. yup ,I said CHEVETTE !
I shot a silver one up in Pigeon Forge a year or so ago,,,,,is it that one?
I love it!! I had a friend in high school that had a blue one we used to have a lot of fun in it!!
I had a friend who's dad had one...not nearly as cool as this one...lol
Back in the day the AMC engineers had a few 401 powered Gremmies they would take out on Woodward and smoke unsuspecting muscle cars.
Cool!....Thanks for checking this one out here!!
beautiful dude
I agree!
Cleanest Gremlin I've ever seen. Nice find Scottie another weird but awesome one.
lol..Me to....Who would have guessed....Glad you enjoyed it!!
They came with 304's under the hood. Randall AMC in Mesa did the Mr. Norm, or Yenco thing putting 401's in them in the early 70's. With a little work these guys would be right at home in the 10's, a little more work would get them into the 9's, no problem. And with today's Parts support from Indy Cylinder Head 8's or faster would be no problem at all.
Cool...Thanks for checking this one out here!!
One and only cool....................
lol..I agree!
I had one back in the day it was way too pretty much look like that one stanced out except I had a straight 6 2 Barrel always wanted to put a V8 in it that's how they come Scotty wide-bodied out like that the only thing that guy did was took the front bumper off in the back bumper he was a great little first car👍✌🇺🇸 American Motors baby
Cool...Thanks for checking this one out here!!
💕Mean and Green💕I love it💕
lol...Me too!!
Nice built car, and I'm Mopar or no car. Back in the 80's a buddy had a AMC Hornet, that caught a few peoples attention with a 304 and 4 spd. Was always straight line drag racing, but now I like auto cross. And Mike Musto racing his 69 Daytona clone against that supercar peaked my interest. The Mr. Angry Charger was over the top, but Mr. Angrier Daytona was a killer.
Cool....Thanks for checking this one out here!!
I wonder what it would look like with the front wheel wells moved more forward for less overhang.
Cool!
that's a nice g amc
I thought so to!!
That's a sweet car, love the colour. Kinda makes me not wanna sell mine, but it's not doing anything for me and it doesn't look like this one.
Glad you enjoyed it!
LMAO!!! I absolutely LOVE IT!
Me to...How cool!
Wicked!!
For sure!!
Cool
I agree!
What is the name of that type of rin?
Hey Scottie,Hows it going? I really dig Gremlins, and this one's pretty nice. When I was 19 this guy that lived behind my girlfriends house had a beautiful blue Gremlin X,with the (I think) 304,in it,and I really wanted to buy it but he wanted to trade me my car (55 chevy) for his plus some cash, but I was like What are you crazy? so that never happened ,but it was definitely one cool ride.
lol..Cool....Thanks for checking this one out!!
Wow, I can't believe it don't have a 350 chevy.
I thought it would have a LS in it....
Did the owner tell you it had a chevy trans in it or did you guess at it. I find it hard to believe that someone would put a 350 trans in place of a 727 torqueflight made to go behind a hemi engine. Originally these had a 727a but you can easily swap them with the 727b . Considering the hp in the chrysler big blocks... i would use the 727b.
Someone told Me that...This video is from awhile ago...so I don't remember...But if I said it like that...then someone had told me the drivetrain...
I always thought they were so cool but I always liked things Different
Right on...I was never a fan...
Odd choice, but it's cool.
Agreed!
clasico!!! de pelicula. saludos.
Right on!!
Does anyone know what rims those are?

ScottieDTV
It's pretty cool to have a RWD compact car like this, with a big and nice V8 in the front.
Thanks for finding and shooting it :)
thank you and shooting it.go with leo K.
put tuner wheels on it.. track tuned
V-8 Gremlins were not a rarity. The Gremlin ran a 304 cu. in. engine as one of it's stock engines. The rare V-8 for the Gremlin was the 401 cu. in.
Cool...I didn't pay much attention to them back in the day....
I'm a little older than you and I had a friend was into AMC because he had a 70 AMX 390.
ljr327 I'm a Fan of the AMX....
Hellsyea
