Un’irrinunciabile appuntamento dedicato ad una novità assoluta, una commissione di arrangiamenti per organico classico di alcuni capisaldi del cosiddetto “progressive rock” che negli anni ’70 ha portato la popular music a livelli di grande impegno, artistico e politico, oltre che squisitamente musicale.
È tratto dall’album che più di altri influenzò la scena musicale mondiale con le sue sonorità magniloquenti e romantiche aprendo la strada al linguaggio del progressive rock che intendeva fondere gli stili e le tecniche più colte del passato con le sperimentazioni e le improvvisazioni più ardite ed evolute.

This was still good, more cinematic feels. But you are right, Fripp gives you the real trips.
Run them through a worn cassette tape and a tubescreamer and you'll have the same effect.

I prefer the original, the mellotron is a truly unique instrument and it gives the original so much of it's wonderful classic character, however the orchestral version shows how well composed the original is to be so easily orchestrated, not tricky at all really. I would have been nice to here a version with a suitable vocalists, (non operatic).
Needs more dance of puppets.

@@bernardcimon Je le sais très bien, mais ce que vous entendez, ce sont des arrangements de la chanson faits par chacun, la batterie est très sophistiquée, le mellotron est une partie essentielle, la guitare de fripp est un très bel arrangement, je veux dire que chaque personne a contribué au morceau de musique avec chaque instrument, adiós

that tempo is too fast and I miss more dynamics. In my opinion, the original sounds beter
You still gotta give them credit tho, this arrangement is phenomenal, and it still manages to give off that Prog rock vibe. Of course, the original will always sound beter but you still gotta admire these people performing such a fantastic song.
