Riders with heart bypasses should always wear these in the heat because your core temp of your body controls your heart rate. Hotter you are faster your heart beats.
Keep these coming Kyle! Wow learn something new everyday, had no idea about the perforated jacket. Will you be doing a "summer" riding jacket comparo soon. That would be great . Jacket & cooling vest comparison. Thanks.
Thanks for watching Scott. A video every day was my 2019 Goal... So far it is working well. Yes, I do have a summer riding jacket video in the works. The KLIM Apex jacket has been my favorite jacket for the last two years now... I wear it EVERYWHERE. Check it out here: ruclips.net/video/nR-u2xfrRn0/видео.html - Kyle
Kyle, I'm going to go amateur meteorologist on you. You're in SoCal. Dry air. I'm in Va. Not so much. If the dew point gets too high, the atmosphere won't accept the sweat from your body which causes that sticky gross hot summer feeling. If the dew point is high, will this vest still evaporate moisture?
Hello, we had to take this to our Fly Racing rep for a response to your question, here it is: The Cooling Vest works on evaporative cooling, so airflow while riding or even wind is what produces the cooling effect. An arid climate really only makes the vest dry out at a marginally faster rate. Sitting still on a hot motorcycle regardless of climate is unpleasant until you start moving again and gaining airflow over the damp surface area.
@@chaparralmotorsports Hi. Just received my vest but feels is way big on me. My size is XL but it's like XXL. How tight it's should be on me? It's really loose on the front and back. It's should be tight fit? At the back I had about 2-3 inches space between my back and the vest. Should I replace to size L?
@@profi965Yep sell twice as many by misleading people on what size to buy.One of the reasons I did not buy the other is they raised the price just because people voted to devalue the dollar.
Haha come to south east texas down by the water the heat is 100 degrees and the humidity is 98+ heat index 120 + now work on a tow boat with no ac on black paint barges they heat up to close to 200 degrees most guys fall out from this I’m one of 8 guys that can work a full 12 hour shift in those conditions. I’d buy this but is seems like wind is the key to it working the right way and there is now wind out there
yep your looking for cold circulating water vest. over $200 Id try this vest if it sold for $30 but people are raising prices on everything devaluing the US dollar more than Democrats planned....they say they were not planning on collapsing the economy they just wanted higher inflation so people would vote for the govt, to solve govt caused problems while making the rich richer.

Great feedback.

Thank you Kyle!! I just got one.
Awesome! Hope you enjoy it. Thanks for watching. Ride safe.
How well did it work :)
Nice video thanks!
Glad you liked it!
what about on a mesh jacket you wear your wind liner?
Sure.
Live in florida , doing 2 hour races threw the woods wearing mx Jersey and a chest protector. How long will this vest keep you cool .
Hello, Fly claims it will stay hydrated for several hours but ambient temperature and other factors can effect performance.

I hope is right because I just orderd one.
Thanks. Let us know what you think of it.

What if you have to ride for 12 hours with a perforated jacket? Do you have to soak it down every at least 4 hours?
Thanks
Hi George, riding with a perforated jacket will dry the vest out quicker--the temperature will also have an effect on it as well. Thanks for watching.
my experience is the vest will reach the outside temp quite quickly, then you are wearing a sauna.
The air movement at speed when riding helps create the cooling effect.
Saunas are dry

Huh very interesting? Wind does help with the cooling effect of this vest but it can still provide some cooling without the wind.

looks really nice any chance to send me one on the house ??
Hello, I don't think it'll fit a house.
@@chaparralmotorsports very funny i am a size small
Dumb question- but does this then get your t-shirt wet as well?
Ha- Just got to the part where he explains this isnt the case!
Hello, we wouldn't say soaking wet, as most the water is held in the vest, but it does get your shirt damp.
Bottom line...$ ?
Im guessing too much...
Hi, they run $39. Not a bad deal. Here they are on our website: www.chapmoto.com/fly-racing-cooling-vest-parent-133-477-6023s
You don't even show how it works
Hello, the video provided a pretty thorough explanation, but what would you like to see?
Evaporative cooling is WORTHLESS on the Gulf Coast.
Hahaha. Understandable with all that humidity.
