Hadn’t heard of Textile Talks. Can’t wait to watch and watch and watch!! Thank you! And yes, save some of the redwood to use for something wonderful in the future.

Any book edited or compiled by Martha is a sure winner. And I have a big question: at what time on Friday does this air originally

Your plant is an epiphyllum sometimes called an orchid cactus. Likes dappled sunlight, well draining soil, and tolerates temperatures down to low 40’s. One of mine is 50 years old.

Two different plants, Alex. Yours is a Grevillea flexuosa, an Australian plant. Your neighbor has a Schlumbergera, also known as a Christmas cactus. And yes, Textile Talks are wonderful!

Save a piece of redwood and find a woodworker to make something for your self like a pergola. (?) Enjoy

It looks like your plant is a fishbone cactus which is different than the others mentioned. The leaves on your plant are in a zigzag formation, not mirrored from the center vein, but staggered. Plus your plant is skinny at the vein not thick.
