    Hi. Thanks for the video. One request. The voice is too low. I can hear only through headphones with maximum volume. kindly check your voice output in future videos.

    Hi! I have line body and trying to do submodel, but i cac't slice it. Is it enough to have line body with cross section to do it? If not, how can I convert it to solid body?

    • @graspengineering9249
      @graspengineering9249  3 года назад

      For 1D line body sub modeling is not possible. You can either model 2d shell or 3d solid or else split line body and input displacement as boundary conditions from global model.

    I am trying to do submodelling at 3 different locations (Regions) from one global model. But the results are not matching for 2 regions. Results are matching for only one Region. Kindly give your suggestions for the same. Thanks

      Hello % Greetings!
      All Local models should match displacement of global model (at respective local model region). You should check the displacement at cut boundaries where read properly or not.

    Hi,
    What is the DNV code for sub modelling guidelines?

      It is one of the technique of simplification refer based on saint venant principle.

    hi how can we convert beam to solid element or how can create this 3d shell model?

    • @graspengineering9249
      @graspengineering9249  4 года назад

      From beam to solid is difficult but from solid you can extract beam model. for 3D shell modeling, we already created design modeler playlist with different modeling video, please kindly refer from our channel page.

    Do we need to apply load again in submodel, as we have considered that in global model??

    • @graspengineering9249
      @graspengineering9249  2 года назад

      Yes. You should also apply local loads too, Loads on local model.

      @@graspengineering9249 Hello sir, thank you for the video. Even I am looking for the same thing. While I am very clear that loads need to re-applied I am unable to find why. Please let me know.
