How to find the proper mode shape of the steel core bar inside the tube under cyclic loading? Here, boundary conditions must correspond to two ends of the steel bar. The role of the outer tube is to restrain the buckling of the inner steel bar. Thank you so much
Thank you for appreciation ! Regarding accurate mode shapes finding, you need to create FEA model for bar with steel tube restrainer structure & then do static analysis for cyclic loads and then do pre-stress model analysis.

How u give compressive load as 1lbf
You can apply downward load of 1lbf in US customary unit system as lbf.
