my fav EP of all, the complexity and 'story' it tells with each part of the tune is just perfect like a full storyline. someone told me the title TL of this didn't do justice to the story of this song, it should be "the entirety of waves" or something akin to "stopping the full motion of waves", don't quite me on that this is ancient chinese and afail it's part of a poem. the story it tells fit more to Nian struggle (you'll understand when you read the story) than Dusk.
but anyway thanks king for this! the Nian chibi gif too is awesome

just to share, my personal thought of the title's meaning is like "drawing till the end of the waves". I guess there is dupute on this is because the first character "尽" has multiple meanings in ancient Chinese. It could either be an adjectives/adverb standing for "entire"/"entirely"/"all", a noun standing for "the end", or a verb as "end"/"search for the end". According to the structure of the poem coming with this EP from HG on bilibili, this character should be a verb here. So I guess some people takes the meaning of "end" and translate it into "stopping the full motion of waves". Personally I'm not into this one because when it goes to the "end" meaning, it is ususally used like "finish" or "complete" something, for example "finish the drink", or "Spring ends", and rarely has a meaning like "stop the motion". So I'm with the second choice, as people know the waves are endless, this express Dusk's mysterious and remarkable drawing technic, and an idea of always pursuing the ultimate of art
@@siyi4627 thank you for the insight! im leaning towards how the EP fit Nian more bcs of how the TL that i now just fit Nian struggle of changing their inevitable fate, thus the stopping of waves which seems impossible fit with it plus the music is too adventurous for Dusk. but if im not wrong there's a modern chinese take for the title name aswell as several ancient one, can you pls if you don't mind tell me this several take is? chinese language is so fascinating with their situational, context and mood heavy meaning

I misunderstood her E2 art. I thought she was riding on a spear. I mistook her sword as the tip and the scabbard as the end of the spear.
i am conviced that the thing Nian always grab in her base skin is not a fan but plain steel bar or aluminum, bah whatever the thing is it's a solid stick brick
Looks like a Tessen to me, which is basically a war fan, and can either be an actual fan like what she has in the skin, or just a metal bar that is made to look like a collapsed folding fan, so that it does not stand out as a weapon.
Is this the next event for us in Global? Lowkey exited and waiting.
