    Good luck, hope you find lots of gold.
    I love your videos and have got my gpx 5000 booked in for August to be modified with Detectronics. I have bought the 19 inch evolution coil already.
    In the mean time I will use my brand new gpx 6000 with the 17 inch coil here in WA.
    Regards
    Keith

    Are you guys going to be working the overburden with a sluice to get all of the fine gold? Have you been testing the ground for fines?
    I worked on a lease in the Palmer river in Northern Queensland and found some very nice gold there... I love it and am going full time prospecting soon when I have everything ready....
    Cheers and keep us posted, love those huge Victorian nuggets 😊

    Are you the Maurice ( i think i heard that's your name) that's in the Doug Stone book that dug up a 20 ouncer?, if so you have been at it for a while and must of scored some chunkers, what's your biggest and how deep was it?
    Good luck with this venture, if you are in big gold country like Rheola you'll have a real shot at scoring a 10kg plus monster, imagine that hey, would be incredible to dig up something historical ay?

    • @eurekagold
      @eurekagold  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yes same guy I’ve been doing it a long time time now . Biggest is 43 ounces on last claim . Still only 20 ouncer in the bush.

      @@eurekagold 43ouncer, wow must of been a thrill, but for me it would be much more exiting detecting a big chunk at 4ft( no fun digging that for sure but the thrill of seeing that chunk at the bottom of the hole would soon have you forget all that digging), it sucks when you know you are late to the party as most of the chunks are gone and only the crumbs remain, we must have hope of there still being some decent chunks otherwise for some it's just not worth doing, but just being out in the bush getting exercise is finding gold for me anyway!!!

    How big is the lease? How much $$ have ya spent on application and lease fees all told? Very few ppl wanna go through the BS to get that far nowadays 😞

    • @eurekagold
      @eurekagold  8 месяцев назад +4

      5 hectares application and fees 15k .. bond 25k .. and farmer 20k. It’s not a cheap excercise . Need 20 ounces to break even . This is my 3rd. Statistics say …out of 10 leases 5 break even . 3 lose money and 2 make money . It,s not all roses . I’m just telling it like it is . Come for the ride I’m documenting this as it’s probably my last as I’m getting older now

      Sounds cheap compared to some in the recent past. Prob be better off selling leases for a profit than working them lol
