This is my 5th Voltron build and by far my favorite. Bant gives you so many great options, so it doesn't feel as stale as some other color combinations. I like adding some elements of control (propaganda)/(ghostly prison)/Authority of the Consuls etc. to give my knight elf breathing room to swing for lethal. There's SO many ways to build off of her abilities, great video!
I played the Deck (not yours, mine) now five times. I had always the same problem: Most times were lands on the top and I can't get rid of them. It lacks on blue spell for drawing cards and but them back on the top or on only to scry and left it on the top, because you won't draw it, you want to cast it with Galea. Another problem is the fact, that the equipment does not have flash, so cards that give you flash are really good (teferis etc). Another suggestion: But in every card that gives infect like triumph of the horde. Another big problem are board wipes. If the commander does not have indestructibility, it can be very annoying.
Hi Daniel, do you have a final deck list showing what you have made of it? I am currently crafting my own version of the deck and am really struggeling with cutting cards. There is so much I want to have in and it is really tough to decide what cards to exchange.
I’m working on building this deck and can’t wait to try it out! Are there any cards you that would make this deck better that you wish you could have thrown in but left out for budget, not being able to find etc?
@Charlie Blakemore, I agree with @ScottFarris23, start with the precon and slowly upgrade. You can also ask your playgroup if you could proxy certain cards to test them out. If those cards work out well, you can save up and purchase them.
Love the builds, I am gong through all your videos now.. excellent stuff... are all your deck lists on TCG current or have you made changes to these decks with the newer sets I think going over changes to your deck lists with new sets would be good content too :)
@MaELstroM, thanks for checking out my content, the deck lists aren't up to date with the newest cards. I actually don't really update my decks that much, probably once every 2 years at this point. I have so many decks, it's impossible to constantly update. I like having non-updated decks, it keeps me to constantly power creeping.
@@vex_mtg Nice. I didn't see that one on Mark Pooles website. I'll have to find a good image to make a custom playmat like yours. Do you know of where I can get a high resolution image?

@Radio Fallout, yeah I like Galea because it allows you to use enchantment which is different than the usual equipment deck.
Out of curiosity what did you drop for propaganda, ghostly prison, authority?
Well your idea for enchantments I really like and I'm going to use that idea when I build gelea.
Enchantment are cool, but fragile, remember to have some recursion to help you against board wipes. Good luck with your build.

You could use equipment/auras that generate tokens. It's always worth a try.

How would you build this on a much tighter budget? I love the potential of this commander
Start with the precon. It is a very good base to start with and then work on getting better auras/equipment/lands that fit your budget

Yeah only card that wouldn't is an aura that came in commander legends called benevolent blessing I think

Do the auras or enchantments need to have flash or does the ability allow me to cast it no matter what?
You still have to follow the timing of the aura or equipment. It needs flash in order to cast it anytime you can cast an instant.

@Zeromus5555, it's hard to find room, but I do recommend you try it out if you had room in your deck.
