    I don't follow technique two at all. How do you line up the back azimuth? If I need two known points (in sight) in line for each line and all four have to be lined up simultaneously to give my point, that's a lot of luck. Why not use the straight edge on the compass?

      Resection only works if you know where the points in the distance are on your map with certainty.

      I don't think you can anymore. Last I heard BISim stopped selling PE (Personal Edition) licenses for VBS. Even if you could buy one it used to cost $500.

      @@DefaultHeathen Arma 3 with lot of addons could be the nearest experience but at the time is far to be like Vbs3 technically and realistically talking. Visually Arma 3 is better.
