The dress is fantastic, even if you took a different approach on the sleeves it's still valid! I COMPLETELY understand the frustration of getting comments about the one thing that is slightly different from the original, and that doesn't take away the work you put into it and the quality of your art. The sleeves are different than the movie and when I first saw the reference photo I also thought the lighting in the movie was making it look darker...and guess what, WHO CARES, IT CAME OUT AMAZING. ❤️ I honestly admire you so much. I tried asking my aunt to teach me to sew because of you and it is not easy. I suck but we will get there 🤣
I definitely prefer ballgowns of this length so the dress looks PERFECT! I find that this skirt length with those many layers allows for such free and floaty movement without the drag of floor-length skirts. Amazing job!

This was and still is one of my absolute favourite Barbie movies! It was one of the first Barbie movies I ever had (together with Swan Lake and the Nutcracker) but out of all of them Rapunzel was the one I would watch on repeat every single day for years! And this dress is everything I ever could have dreamed of 😍😍 Same with the Swan Lake dress. I actually had both of these dresses for my Barbie doll back in the day 😌
