Whenever i step on a trailing plant or bump into a plant i apologize like it's another person. So far none have got revenge. Your daughter should be ok so long as she says sorry to the plants! 😂 Manners mean everything!

👍🏾video. I use a small trellis to support the stem so that the stress is not at the lower stem on hanging plants. Of course the plant grow thicker yet still hanging. Love your Gorgeous Plant Room. 🪴Happy Planting🌿

I can never tell the diff between a Silver Lady and a Silvery Anne but who cares....scindapsus plants are gorgeous and one of my fave genuses! My collection is growing hahaha. And my Exotica has massive leaves too and I have propped & chopped it heaps to gift to friends and she hasn't skipped a beat. Your neons are UNREAL, the size of those leaves wow!! And your Rio...um....you now have me on the hunt for one of those Nora!!!! Seeing it next to the Cream Splash made me realise just how amazing the Rio's colouring is so now I WANT ONE...my hubby thanks you😜 My Peru is on an all plastic moss pole with a grow light and is loving it so maybe re-consider putting it on a pole or, like you suggested, give it tonnes more light. We are kindred spirits Nora, I have a mish mash pot too hahaha like yours but nowhere near as massive as yours. Mine's still juvenile with single cuttings still but I feel it'll get big quickly with our summer temps and lighting 😉 Thanks for sharing your trailers with us Nora 🥰

When I put my _Scindapsus_ ‘Exotica’ on a pole, not only did the internodal spacing decrease but the leaves laid flat and shingled! Looks phenomenal! Like a Monstera dubia or something.

Those Neon leaves are huge! Wowsers, oh it was on a pole, now it makes sense, my baby Syngonium wendlandii didn’t make it, I do want another try though. I put my Peru on a moss pole, she’s high and tight-internodes-happy!

    Beautiful Nora! Merry Christmas
For the heavy plants leave them in the same size pot and use a heavier reservoir/cover pot. My Maranta is trailing out one side and bc it moves so much it was jumping off the shelf, upgraded it from a plastic cover pot to a ceramic and no more jumping! Since the 10cm cover pots in pretty much any material are inexpensive compared to a big one it makes sense to just use heavier small pots. Just remember if you decide to go with cement or terracotta or clay too make sure it's glazed and not drinking your solution! 💞

That's actually a small root system for a syngonium. Maybe not all plants belong in Leca. The syngoniums I grow in aroid mix all develop massive root systems.
The comparison between the philo cream splash and rio was interesting. I prefer the cream splash I think.
Aroids are nice as trailing plants, but often they tend to develop tiny leaves. I might actually prefer hoyas, rhipsalis and cissus as trailing plants.

Just found this channel and I’m so excited! I’m going to be transitioning most of my plants to LECA as I’m moving to a new condo soon. It just seems so much easier and cleaner, and with my mother’s health problems we’ve been looking for the best way to stop our mold issues.

I wanna be like you when I grow up❤😊 yes it is a silver lady. Let it climb and you will get bigger and more leave and less space between the leaves.

Thank you for letting us know that not everything that has long vines need to be on a moss pole. Question? How do you keep them so full & stop them from getting so "leggy?"
OH....is so love the "mish mash" a good way to make good use of my clippings...I love it! What size pot is that in?

Would putting your rio in a heavier pot, of the same size, be an effective solution? Asking more for myself as I move back to using leca, and am learning about ways to help plants grow and thrive.

Your plants are gorgeous! I'm new to using Leca and Have benefited tremendously from your channel. They seem to be surviving but the leca balls on top stay dry is that how it should be?
