I love your focus on teaching guys to do the job right. I've worked with too many guys who aren't interested in training yet get mad at questions or when progress is too slow for their liking.
Always appreciate your videos, keep up the good work!
I think it's cool as hell of you to promote your "Competition" and give him a shout out. That's a good man there. Not in it for yourself and to help any others along the way. Good stuff man.
Really interesting video. I really like how you calmly show your workers what they're doing wrong and explain to them what to do right instead of yelling and/or talking down to them. You're a good boss.
hey Stan, thanks for the videos... I'm in the construction business right now, and in your videos you do a great explanation of how do things right and what to watch out for... just saying thanks and keep up the great education videos! I have learned a lot from. and I think others do too!
Glad I can help!
I started watching Chant a couple months ago. I think it's great to see you guys work together on this. I came straight here from his vid of this project. I would love to take down a house like that, I've only ever used a mini, but I'm sure I could pick it right back up.
Just found your videos last week and have learn a lot. Thanks for all the information I highly appreciate the continent.
Great video Stan and Chanse.
Awesome video, like many others you have. Thank you for the informative videos. Looks like Chant had a great time.
After he was done, did you tell him that it was the wrong house? :-D
I should have LOL
Have you ever called the local fire department before and have them burn the house down and let them practice on it? We have and in the end the house fit into one dumpster and cut our cost by 40%. That's 40% more we got to keep!!
ball boy jones epa won't let you anymore
Kyle Kelley depends on the local department. The reason I say that is a fire department near me in central valley California just burned a house down for training of new recruits.
Kyle Kelley We just did it 1 year ago.
Kyle Kelley If you do not know what you are talking about, please stop spewing lies.
they won't let us in il anymore we have tried .
Great stuff Stan.
good collaboration
Some good old school fun!
love the channel love the info. thanks you guys
rock.
Good to see that Chant got the hang of it. And that is great footage
good video guys,good laugh too!
Just a little advice that i was taught from an old timer is in an excavator never use the trax to push/pull anything, use the boom/bucket to move what ever it is. He said its not a bull dozer. I must add I love your channel and Stan you are a very inspirational man!!!! Thank you for sharing!
good video man nicely put together
I think that is so cool that you called another contractor on your job and train him I think your the only guy that does this and post a video
Thanks
👍
Nice to see you in a collaboration! It was fun and entertaining.
Thanks Rick!
I love Demolition work.
Beautiful Congo grey bro.
Cooperation vs. Competition. 100!
Intelligent management of the finite resources.
The Venus Project !!
Like your videos, I love the case, good hydrolic power and I find them easy to repair
Cooking with Crisco!!! my dad has always said that
Huge fan chant
😃
awesome as always...here in jersey we charge more then what you do for demolition. But hey, as long as you got work, it's awesome. keep videos coming.
3:33 HAY I resemble that remark! "Cookin' with Crisco".. When I was a kid my Mom made all her fried chicken with a good sized clump of white Crisco lard. It came in a big #10 sized can. Plus one can use Crisco to seal loaded cylinders of black powder revolvers to prevent what is called chain fires.
Great channel dudes. I done some demolition. Never been on a machine I couldn't get it to dance for me.
Very cool!
I miss doing this kind of work ☹️
I'm watching this video because I'm going to a site for the first time today, and want to know the basics of demolition.
@@MasterBlade360 good luck my friend! It's not too hard, just know your surroundings.
I noticed you like Case Demos. Have you every bought a Case machine?
Dan Krueger no need when you can demo bwahahaha
I have many times in the past
your the man stan
Cooking with Crisco! i still use that!
That was a great video. I've been in Skids for the last 5 years or so. The next thing I want to try is an excavator of some variety.
Look at this guy, channel getting big!:)
it's funny because this popped up on my phone and Chant had put up the same house pics on his instagram. Then it made sense when I watched your video ha ha
sweet video. but the thought of a landscaper getting on a real excacvator is scary. lol
Great Video that price though in California would not roll!
Love you vids, recently subscribed so I can keep track of all your new material ( and hope to contact you directly one day ). Being in the waste disposal business for almost 17 years I wanted to point out that you should teach your operators to never drag or position a dumpster by its tailgate ( door ). If that door begins to buckle from repeated stress or heaven forbid a weld pops - that door can kill the driver when he tries to open it ( seen this happen first hand - and been both the driver and operator ). Safest practice is moving the container from the front ( or with a thumb - the side of the bin - just make sure not to puncture the bin wall )
Im a 9 year old that knows how to operate an excavator because of your channel
That is awesome ! Thanks for watching !
Not bad video. I have owned my own for 35 years here we pay dump fees. Big difference in landfill fees. Rural areas house like that in UT probably 8000 depending on trees. City's maybe a little more. Biggest problem we have is guys don't get asbestos clearance so you can't compete if you sneak one in you may get 10000 fine. Some of our landfills require paper work showing it's cleared. Private ones could care less. A lot of variables in demo. I can walk around a building and have tonnage within 10 percent in 15 min. We make owners pay asbestos its way to variable. A lot of hard work being a contractor and you have to wear a lot of hats every day. Do every thing perfect and watch your risk versus reward and you can make good money and have fun.
Look's like fun, I could do that all day. There is something therapeutic about this.
LOL👍
What’s the best way to find demolition leads? I’ve thought about finding a list of condemned houses and contacting the owners..
Cooking with lard baby! Yum!
Excellent video Stanley more drone footage is more awesomer
I went to school for heavy equipment..dropped before I graduated. I can run almsot anything. Wish someone hired me to do it..miss running the bigger stuff.
Dam you are high on life man :) loving the way you think and live your life
What is required to demolish a house as in contacting utilities and will they charge?
Depending on the size of the home, I would charge $10-$12 per square foot. Asbestos abatement is extra.
What's the SQFT of the home?
🤔well i like it 👍
Gotta love watching stuff get destroyed #ChantsTheMan
Thanks Andy! We should do a podcast interview BTW!
I had to demo a house on my first day, but it was all by hand 🤣
What's the breakdown on your dumpsters? Do you own or subcontract?
next can you tell me how much I should charge for laying 40 stone steps 5 feet long, on an island?
The cost is ridiculous damn
10 Tons Hahaha. There was a guy here in town who loved to overload them. He was crazy enough that most of the haulers were scared to mess with him. He actually tore down the wrong house once too. Did I mention he has a tattoo on his stomach that reads "Murder Was the Case"?
the bucket is your toy. boom is not lol
I am late to the party on this video, but the African Grey is beautiful. I have a 26 year old Senegal Parrot who is finger tame. He is particular about who he likes and does not. lol
Oh awesome! Such beautiful creatures, my african grey (Gracie) is the same way
How big was this property? Garage included? Didn't see any.
Do you charge for the equipment transportation to the property?
2400
Not bad for his first time running the machine
I LOVE Diggers so I would LOVE to be the guy in the digger!!
I want to come play also
about $20k?! like your videos man!!
When i saw that bird at first I was like YES!!! The monkey is here! Then I saw it was a bird... when can we see the monkey?
12,000
Hey Stan, do you run your Kobelco on Cat or Deere pattern?
is crisco a mn thing? i always thaught they had it everywhere
What kind of drone are you using?
Hey Stanley, how did you get into demo? Is there a big market for it?
I know what cooking with Crisco means it's the same as cooking with gas good stuff
Thanks for watching Mike !
I just wanna say this please do not overfill or pack a dumpster too much, it makes it harder for the driver to move and dump the dumpster
how much cost new - Case cx210d or Case cx230d in Europe? Thanks
25k. For the demo?
That job probably cost about 7,000 to 10,000 dollars for fuel ,dumpster and demolition
So what Case should do is build a cover for the cylinders
a bobcat mini i work with has a cover for the boom cylinders, works pretty good since it's working with logs all the time
Good idea
Nice!
My guess was a little on the high side I was thinking 15
how many square feet was the house
Don't you guys have to do training and certification before using a piece of plant machinery on a work site?
Nope
How is the equipment operator job market right now in the United States? I'm a Seabee in the Navy and this is what I do.
My mom always used Crisco to fry her chicken.
Same here
Awesome video! Hey did you use a drone to make this video? That's way cool dude. You are inspiring me to get busy on my own Classic Electric NJ channel. I'm going to take a guess on the cost of this job at $17k. Am I close?
80k
I've heard that cooking with crisco before
👍
hire me im young and hardworking ready to learn
Crisco grease! My mother always kept some growin up... and I'm just about 30 years old
Crisco would probably rather we refer to their product as "cooking oil" as opposed to "grease". Although after it has been used as a deep fryer agent, that's all it really is anymore... just grease, lol
Stan Patterson the reference is to the tubs of crisco that was of a lard consistency, kid
tubs of "shortening", then.
Stan Patterson yah, crisco grease.
Awesome!
who do you use to cap Sewer and Water?
This time- we did it.
I hope you shut the gas off!!! Lol
LOL- yepper
Be mindful packing dumpsters. We were packing small boats into a roll off and somehow damaged the rear door and had to pay for it.
animenut69 lol the resort and park I work for treat the dumpsters like shit literally beat them to death
Yes- can't be to careful!
16,000
how many. 40 yarders did the house fill
3
15000
5 grand
.... $235,900.50???
Lol we still cook with crisco once in a while but we're big fat west Virginians lol
6k
Is it possible to mess up smashing something up?
Yes- the bucket will smash into he cab of the excavator if your not careful.
Tear hoe hoses off, bend cylinders, crush cab with a falling wall or roof, etc.
Or 60k
Do you have a Starting a business 101 video?
A lot if my videos cover that topic-but I don't have just one.
lol sounds like my math class
$5000 to $25000, so many variables but there you go thats what I charge in Australia
how do you tear down older homes filled with asbestos?
MONEYBAGS603 Because they’re not in California with EPA up your ass lol
John G ya but would there still not be safety measures to control it or something
I wouldn't breathe any dust from a demolition site, just to be safe.
