Just watching this performance had me sitting in my room alone saying "NO NO NO NO NO" in disbelief from that performance. Such a beautiful handling and misdirection. This makes me smile soooo much.

I don't even want to know how it's done. I love the feeling of "Oh my goodness" that happens after seeing the illusion happen.

Thank you for this Michael and great performance! I also met Paul with he performed for my girlfriend , Herb Morrissey and I and another spectator at Morrissey's Magic in Toronto in about 1988. Paul was a great performer and a delight to speak with.

Your passion is wonderful to watch! Made me smile. We are of similar age, and I discovered Paul's magic in the early 80's. Blew me away! Really spoke to me. Among the tricks that became part of my professional working set were Solid Deception (so devious in construction!), Bizarre Twist (set the magic world on fire when it came out!) , and Overkill. These are evergreen routines that remain unbeaten in impact on audiences. Thank you for your dedication to a wonderful magic creator!

Thanks for doing these videos Michael. You remind me that each time you bought a book and started working on it I would buy the same book.
I have found memories of our Saturday mornings at the Bonnington Hotel.
My Colour Stunner is in my hall bookcase so I can grab it as I go out of the front door. It is the most impactful card effect I do.

    Haha.
I'll never forget the time, late in the evening, stood next to Darwin, about eight foot from you, watching a master, you!
Sometimes you feel, not just see, something amazing. It was that moment.
Not sure of the year, 2008, maybe, Ruskin Hotel, Blackpool Magic Convention.

    Thank you so much, Michael.
I am a huge admirer of Paul and his work.
Even though I’ve intensely studied his work, let me say that your handling and presentation made it seem like a whole new effect that made me feel like a layman being fooled.
Thank you so much once again, Michael. Your passion truly is inspiring.

This is so amazing Michael.. seriously! Once you started your routine I said "ok Craig, dont listen to the voice! Only watch the deck." I did just this. Didnt take my eyes off the deck for 1 millisecond! And BAM... you got me again. Truly amazing

Thank you so much for your presentation of ”Color stunder”. You have improved the routine and added a few twists to it. As much as I admire Paul Harris, I actually prefer your version. Now it’s time to watch it a few more times and reconstruct it. Thanks again.

All I did was apply some ideas of David Williamson and my own choreography. Don’t copy, develop your own, study Williamson’s routine first, it is beautiful - good luck 👍🏽

I happen to be studying this as you've released this video, so for once I'm not a hundred miles behind. I have learned this same trick from Art of Astonishment and, wow, the small touches you've added to your presentation are incredibly subtle but also give the already great effect so much more 'oomph'... beautiful!!

Awesome performance! Harris’s thoughts on magic in his books are very eloquently put, he knows to come alive on the page. For those of you with Art of Astonishment, this effect can be found in volume 1, page 55, but feel free to look around, there’s tons of amazing effects from Paul Harris.
