I have to say, Nintendo's marketing has seen a huge leap in quality since the Wii U days. This trailer was an absolute joy to watch! Will definitely be picking it up on release day!
Thats the only leap they made...I mean swinging a joycon while looking at a 6inch screen from 1-2meters away pretending to play tennis is not better than wii.I mean we have VR now with fully tracked motion controllers and they are still stuck in the wii era...
Sith Hippious that mode is optional, you can play with a controller still.
So as i said,there is not leap in technology from nintendo.Same old same old...

Nintendo uses the same Mario cutscene model as in newer commercials, only edited to have his tennis attire rather than his overalls.
Luigi's Mansion 3's "Cutscene" Mario model seen in that game is based off of the official Mario model seen in the commericals.

Rafa Nadal beat Mario in five sets in this match. The score was 4-6, 6-3, 2-6, 7-5, 14-12. I think the format was full 5 set match and first to two games win when 6 games all in the final set.

The CGI on mario looks great, it reminds me alot of the Sonic Movie effects. Some could say Who Framed Roger Rabbit or Space Jam, but that's 2d Animation
