- Grand Theft Auto IV is a big game, and contains a lot of mysteries that are still unexplained. My job is to find the truth about them., and try my best to bust them.
My version of the game is totally unmodded. No cheats were used during the investigation. My game is 100 % completed, with no cheats.

Maybe the developers put the lights in to help players see if they choose to do the Snow Storm mission at night.
I found a creepy thing whilst playing GTA IV on Xbox 360. I decided to go to the shut down funfair and whilst I was there I heard strange things. At first I heard a few knocking/ banging sounds. Then at one point I heard music coming from an ice cream van so I looked around. But there was nothing, then last I heard a few old, crackly voices coming from nearby. And at the last minute when I left I saw this "Thing" flicker past my screen. Although I don't have any proof I can assure you, no mods were used. I'm not sure if I'm hearing things or I just started a new myth...

Yeah I just found this "thing" by accident. My xbox overheated not long later. But that was casual
idk why I feel more uncomfortable while playing games on xbox 360... i can sometimes hear strange noises while playing GTA 4 on it, as it is the game that unsettles me the most.

Though when I did the mission, I saw a green light I thought it was a med kit but I collected one in the area, so its gotta be a ghost.
I once saw a video about about his and decided to go there on my own, when I got there nothing happened for quite a while, but suddenly while I was walking through the hallways, a shadowy black blob came out of one of the doors and walked across the wall and entered another room, it scared the shit out of me. The only thing I did was see if it was still there in the room, but it dissapeared, and after that I never went back to that place ever again.
I think is perfectly possible for a game to be haunted... by being haunted i mean, that it could have weird/odd stuff added purposely by the game's programmers to grab gamers attention... or even unintentional glitches...
Seeing abandoned buildings always makes me sad
The prostitute spawn is not very common, but still happens. Can be quite hilarious to hear what she has to say to Niko.
Once on an investigation of the hospital, out of boredom I got the prostitute to fight a homeless man. It made my list of exciting myth investigation highlights.

I don't think people believe the game itself could be haunted. I think they believe that there are things programmed into the game that are meant to give the game a dark side-And a dark side appeals to people, it gives the game depth. And you're right about the excitement of looking for something. That thrill of wanting to find something that might be right behind you the whole time.

I think the fire theory is right as the poles attaches to the walls outside the building might be placed their to stop it collapsing along with the wrecked interior also the generator and lights may be due to them renovating the hospital
you know when i was playing about a year ago i saw like a skull face kinda coming from the ceiling but it also looked like a hand, could this be what your talking about?
i think the reason why there are lights in the room is because of security but im not sure

It is more of an easter egg. I believe that Rockstar is notorious for the amount of easter eggs they implement into there games! They were originally going to add Bigfoot into GTA: San Andreas, but before the official release they allegedly deleted it.
