Competitive Pokemon
There is a NEW Competitive Pokemon tier that has been recently gaining traction in the past month and a half where it allows you to use old Gen 9 favorites like Volcorona, Urshifu Rapid Strike, even Bloodmoon Ursaluna etc in combination with some old favorites. Its a tier based on the Ubers usage stat but doesn't correlate with OU, hence called Ubers UU in which you actually play it on the official Pokemon Showdown Website. Let me know in the comments below what you guys think of new metagame in Gen 9 Pokemon.

(Frequent Questions)
Q: Where is the gameplay from?
A: Pokemon Showdown
Q: How are the sprites looking like generation 5?
A: Click the settings button and you can change the sprite display
Q: Why is the gameplay have the opponent being dumb?
A: Well surprise its me playing as the opponent as well and having Pokemon faint every 5 seconds isn't as fun as seeing the Pokemon do something in the battle for some time, which is why the gameplay seems like the opponent is braindead. Although I have taken some feedback and have tried to make it more interesting as possible without making the Pokemon faint every 5 seconds for hopefully better entertainment.

good. with all these crazy non-legendary pokemon that have been overrunning OU since their introduction, i'm glad there's a place where they'll actually see use.

This actually makes me happy. Paldea's power creep is really intense, so Pokemon that stand no chance in Ubers like Sneasler actually get a chance to shine. And I also LOVE the idea of "weak" Pokémon that see a lot of play in Ubers like Skeledirge are banned as well, so that the tier has more of a unique identity.
I liked UUBers as a name better, but this is huge! Great work filling that gap!

My guess is that UUbers would be too confusing yeah. Ubers UU pretty much tells you everything right off the bat in the name

I'm honestly glad this tier is great and it's being recognized. Like I said I have been thinking about it for a long time before it was made.

Finally an offical ladder for Ubers UU is here after seeing stuff like OUBL back in gen 8 get shunned to the waste side
I was one of those people who were laughed at for wanting OUBL. Now we stand victorious.

for real though, this community has grown way more than I ever could have imagined when I joined from a random reddit post. We are here now and we are here to stay!
I feel like it's important to mention it since you didn't. Sun. Is. INSANE. Roaring Moon, Walking Wake, Chi-Yu, and tons of other mons are absolutely insane within the tier. Since Basc-F's ban, it's become the single best Weather. HIGHLY recommend it.

Haha, glad one of my sets made it into one of these videos. I’m really excited to see all the new people joining the tier! It’s a great community we have, so to see it expand into something officially recognized makes me super happy.
the fact that they avoided being just early pre-bans OU via banning by Ubers usage instead of just making a tier between ubers and OU is just great

UUbers is so necessary with all the gen 9 power creep. More than that, the tier is goated for banning Lando-T. OU never would dare do that.

Uubers is really cool. It's great to see a home for otherwise underutilized strategies.
I dont really play other metagames bc of the hassle that comes with learning a whole new meta, but I'm definitely hyped to try this one out!

I see you've got two comments and to answer the question: When a Pokémon is too strong for Ubers UU there's a ban list inbetween where for example Shaymin Sky fits.
As for Annihilape I'm fairly certain it still has a lot of usage in Ubers so it's not accessible in this new tier.

Ubers RU seems really intressting as it's basicly a variation of OU, Some Pokémon become banned like Corviknight and Gholdengo but you gain access to stuff like Darkrai and Shed Tail Orthworm.
Goodra has potential. With Tera Poison and Acid armor and it comepletely walls out Zacian

It cracks me up how Shaymin-S is always too BS to ever be balanced in any format that isn’t normal Ubers, yet still always ends up being bottom tier in Ubers. It makes me curious as to what a meta would have to look like for Shaymin-S to thrive without being completely busted or booty cheeks.

@@NicholsMediaPressI don't think it's gonna become an 'official' format since it's an entierly seperate branch from the Smogon tiers rather than an inbetween of OU and Ubers.
The main formats are very basic and simple to grasp where as unofficial ones tend to be more unique in function.

All this overcomplicated shit and unnecessarily thinning the pokemon pool in lower tiers just to not ban blatantly broken tera.
Arcues-Bug being ass is UUbers further solidifies to me that OU should test it
