Competitive Pokemon
Pokemon metagames are intersting to follow and offer a unique perspective on how these creatures we use to battle come and go. A Pokemon such as a Walking Wake might be super relevant on first release but months later, its not always guranteed that these Pokemon will resemble the same role as it has been, or the fact it is used at all the majority of the player base. In this video, we will check out a couple of key interesting metagame trends in Gen 9 OU that currently happening, which is the Smogon singles competitive scene for players. Q: Where is the gameplay from?
A: Pokemon Showdown
Q: How are the sprites looking like generation 5?
A: Click the settings button and you can change the sprite display
Q: Why is the gameplay have the opponent being dumb?
A: Well surprise its me playing as the opponent as well and having Pokemon faint every 5 seconds isn't as fun as seeing the Pokemon do something in the battle for some time, which is why the gameplay seems like the opponent is braindead. Although I have taken some feedback and have tried to make it more interesting as possible without making the Pokemon faint every 5 seconds for hopefully better entertainment.

Very surprised you didn't mention Zamazenta's massive rise in OU considering it is now in the Top 5 in usage.
I suppose it's a case of Zamazenta being up to it's same old tricks.

@@thegreatkiwibeast2591 it might be too good for that. Just the option gives it a few more sets to deal with, and a CB shadow claw is still gonna hurt coming off 120 attack
I was just talking about how some mons are forced to run quick attack instead of being given extreme speed
Even though Dragapult's best set is probably the Boots Utility set, the Specs set will always be my favorite. Band is cool, but the fact that you have to terastalize to get a 1 turn ghost stab is incredibly detrimental. Cleaning up weakened teams is really nice as long as you have 9 Kingambit checks in the back

i think the rise of iron crown is def worth discussing. Glowking is practically immortal-sure, but it’s extremely passive in some MU’s and is easy to force out. Iron Crown is much better opted to offense teams thanks to its strong lead MU, access to strong coverage-and ability to pivot out of a lot of bad MU’s
They should give shellgon shell smash for a mence buff. Lets gooooo. Mence squad!!!

and Electric, can’t forget the lack of phy Electric moves……..that doesn’t have a significant drawback
also, Poltergeist exists now (110 BP, 90% Acc.) but it’s only on either special attackers, low-tier physical ghosts nobody uses, and for some reason Ceruledge
GF is just too scared to give Poltergeist to the likes of Mimikyu, Basculegion, Aegislash, and Dragapult
