Ed has the nicest resin stuff I have ever seen. It is incredible. I’ve got a couple projects on the go right now with his stuff. You’ve got a great lineup there. Thanks for sharing!!
Ed puts out top notch quality products. Someone needs to help him get those products to vendors that deal worldwide! This hobby is really going to suffer once some of these vendors are gone.
Thank you for this information. I'm also a fan of Ford teardrops, '67 Vette stingers transferred on to other project hoods. Love the green 150 series '57 in the case 🙂 .
That's some clean looking resin. I've got some bodies I'm pretty sure I'll have to go at with a sawzall before it's over. I've got flash thicker than any part on any of those bodies. But if there's only one person making it what are you going to do. Plus nobody has made these for years now. Rant over. I'm happy for you brother, Sam
Thank you Sam, yeah resin can be tricky to work with from different folks! But like you say, if you want it and its the only thing out, its a starting point.
So, I have never worked with resin cast parts. Are they hard to work on or basically the same as 3D printed parts? They look really nice and I want to order some hoods, but I'm hesitant. Thanks for sharing this.
Overall, fairly similar to plastic, 3d etc, give it a good wash and off you go most the time! Ed does a great job on his cast, does not need much work vs some of the other stuff out there.
I love Drag City Castings parts, and Ed's an awesome guy to do business with ✌️😁
