Awesome scores, Kyle!! I have the Tudor body and multiples of both the '40 Ford hood and that '57 Chevy hood, EXCELLENT products, and Ed is a great gentleman to deal with. The "other '57 Chevy hood you mentioned (for the earliest kits) also fits nicely on those molded in kinda-blue kits that Hobby Lobby keeps I stock for just over $22 (making them around $14 on the 40% off weeks) ✌️😁
@@SmallADVentures1973 yeah. That’s the kit I was trying to describe!! Should’ve mentioned that people can get it at hobby lobby cheap! It can still build into a nice piece. And I agree, Ed’s stuff is super nice and he’s great to deal with
Lot's of great resin products there ! 👍I think AMT has made 2 or 3 different 57 Chevy molds over the decades, so for me, I never know which one is which by just looking at the box (as far as how old is the actual mold is). The Monogram 57 is my favorite. I've built many of those - easy to build - great wheels.
@@brucek3217 I know they have the promo style kit they’ve repopped 4000 times. It’s currently in hobby lobby molded in blue with a blue box art. And then the newer tool like this pro shop version. It is an exceptionally nice, modern tooling with wonderful details. Just released most recently in AMTs new “kustom kruiser” boxing. Same kit but without the ability to build a stock version.
I have a Jimmy Flintstone chopped 32 Ford Tudor that I was going to use with the old AMY Vicky kit. I picked up the Revell 32 and I might mix the two. Also have a 1965 release of the AMT 53 Studebaker that I'm probably going to build bone stock.
@@JDsHouseofHobbies I like that old Vicky kit too. I’m sure the flinstone chopped body is nice too! I have a couple of his bodies as well. I’m for sure going to build that Studebaker box stock one time too. I have a couple of them. This hood will just be an option for the second build. Thanks for watching!
@@Bubbasmodelcarshop thank you!! if it were me I’d grab one of the Revell 5 window kits. Should be easy to find. Then Drag City, I believe has a chopped 5 window body. Could make a really nice Milner coupe. Sent you an email about this too.
Very cool
