They aren't $4000, can buy one brand new online I see for $2299, and I'm buying a very slightly used one in a few days for $1800, which is a killer deal, also Eastman's website says the guitar is $2799. Also Eastman solid body and semi hollowbody guitars are more like a collings than competition to Gibson, I own and love Gibsons btw, but if you haven't tried an Eastman , than you really should, forgot where it's made, if you just go in with open mind you wont be disappointed I swear, great craftsmanship, great wood, great hardware, lollar pickups, nitro paint, abr1 gotoh bridge, if you like a gibson LP you will dig this, plus better QC
it's just another copy....why? Why would I want a copy? I don't, and to be honest, the best these reviewers can do is give us the brand name and some pros and cons...but listening or seeing will not make the guitar fit your hands and feel right, not every guitar does. I don't like Ibanez's wizard necks, I don't like Fender anymore of their scale length, I played a 74 Strat for 30+ years exclusively, then I started playing an old Ibanez AR200 goldtop ... set neck, and I really liked it except for the pup selector switch placement, but I really liked how it felt, so I got a 97 SG special (ebony fretboard), loved it, then got an LTD EC1000, really love the neck on it, and then a 98 Orville Les Paul Standard, from Japan.....WOW. Badass guitar everyone who plays it loves it. But too late guys... I bought mine for $600, now a 98 Orville LPS will run you over $1200-$1500 and higher....Tokai, Greco, Fernandez, Aria from the 80's-90's. I wouldn't buy a USA made now..I will only buy Japanese, the quality rivals USA made guitars without having to pay thousands.

$4000 for a Les Paul copy made in China? For that price the top should be carved up with the CNC they used to build it.
