My favorite guitars in this price range have been the Ibanez Xyphos and the Schecter KM7 FRS Lambo green. I also do agree with you that the Chinese Jacksons feel good for some reason. The cheap JS series line kinda blow me away more than the X series line. I recently got 2 X series Rhoads and they're good but the higher the prices, the higher your expectations become. Now I'm more inclined to Mod cheaper guitars with quality parts since you kind know what you're getting, expensive guitars are better bought locally without them shipping headaches.
I got the purple quilt-top one. Thinking about one of these too.
Blue us my fave n i like how the pickups match but would be neat too have the crackle with black n blue
Damn. That's a beautiful collection, man.
Absolutely love the playing and tone. Really would love to hear an album with your playing like the super thrash at the beginning
so like gojira vacuity
I love your style of playing. So musical
Great demo thanks, love that crack finish.I also prefer the flush strap locks, looks a lot neater on the guitar. Please demo that explorer, looks good.
Cheap Pearls and Inlays bother me!!!!!!! Purchased my first Les Paul, and the decorative work is SO beautiful!!!!....It obviously took time to do that stuff.......Now my standards are high and it's definitely something I Look for, LOL.......Sadly I think many people are getting ripped off now with Many guitars being over $1000, and it's just assembly line.....you Barely get any Pearl and Bindings suck.
Fret level and recrown in order to get that dead note fixed. I’ve noticed that the nut action has been too high out of the box on everything they’ve put out since old MIJ days. Once the nut shelf gets shaved and the leveling done I’m sure that’ll be the axe you wanted. Just sucks that I’m sure you didn’t buy a B Stock priced RR24.
Good looking guitar
Woohoooo the video i was waiting for ty so much
only 360p though :/ even though the content is 4k
Enjoy! It's a long video but the stuff I bring I personally thought was important
@@clanofhousecats8079 thank you so much after watching it I ll put a comment about how I feel :)
@@ertus306 Yeah?? I don't understand? I shot it in at least 1080p
@@clanofhousecats8079 must be something youtube related. happens to a lot of RUclipsrs as well but I don't know how you can fix it.
That guitar so sick.
Beautiful guitar do want to sall it jackson rr24 blue crackle
I think yur intonation set ☝ was prolly for D ALL the one's ive ordered i had too adjust the high E back cause they're not tightly set when shipped
Don't get me wrong its not hard for me too move one of the blocks back into place but like you said brother they're soo expensive there should be no excuse why it doesn't just shred right away man!
Nice guitar. Where did u get it ?
Can't decide whether to get this axe in red crackle or just save up more money and get the RR Mij, in your opinion which guitar would be the better option
Each are excellent. If you like having a floyd and want to save money, then the Red or blue would be great. If you are set on a hardtail and upgrade in some details, then the Japan one would be great as well. Heads-up, the Crackle Pro's have 24 frets and the Japan Rhoads has 22 if that information matters to you.
I'm thinking of buying one. How does the neck compare to an Ibenez?
Very thin neck, maybe slightly thicker than an Ibanez? Because of the paint, but it actually might be the same. It's a thin neck for sure and again reminds me of a USA Jackson
You sound higher than normal! Still tons of chugg n mids sounds 👍 though i want a Brandon Ellis Kelly
I was tempted to buy one, but in Australia they're close to $3k so... That dead fret thing is freaking me out
Killer I love my rrt3, I think mine is Indonesian same pick ups that i love and hate. What model SG in the background?
That was a 2018 Gibson SG Special with mini humbuckers and 24 frets
Does this guitar have neck dive?
Does the tone seem kinda dull to you?
If you had to compare to the Jackson Pro Rhoads RR3 Ivory (Indonesia), which one would you choose?
I like them both, maybe the crackle because I like 24 frets. But they're both nice guitars. Maybe price could be a factor. I think one's cheaper than the other
@@clanofhousecats8079 thank you, my man!
Do you think the inverted headstock influences the sound in any way? On both guitars the headstock is set differently.
@@kingandrews Not that I know of but some think the tension from the tuning machine to the nut when it's longer can help thick strings but I think it's just cosmetic
I take the bar off every time
Holy f*** 1500 usd for chinese jackson rr?! No thx, i’ve seen new purple MF-1 around 800 usd in europe…
The MF is Killer Guitar!
Thats a fuckin' serious guitar!
Have you seen or played the made um Indonésia Pro Series RR24Q with quilted maple top?
I agree, id like to see more fixed bridges Jacksons!
Cheers from Portugal 🍺🤘🇵🇹
I haven't played the quilted top but I like them and would love to try one if I saw one.
@@clanofhousecats8079 the purpple one with gold hardware really looks awesome!
🍺🤘🇵🇹
@@portuguesebeer5069 That's the one I really like
What is that gibson Explorer behind?????
Ha! A future review. The Blackout
@@clanofhousecats8079 ohhhh yeaaaaaah
@@clanofhousecats8079 a new model coming soon or???? Can't wait!
@@simonbertrand6709 if only, it's a 2015 model.
This guitar looks soooo sick. It sucks that this guitar was released to Sweetwater and they also missed the inspection as well if this thing was even checked. Great video and review. I’m curious to know what Sweetwater has to say about this
My rhoads pro is a hardtail
made in Shandong
If can't bring back sweetwater
Dude a dead note on a guitar is completely unacceptable did you get this thing set up by a professional an intubated?
I was soo surprised when the pro was made in China... Geesh! I can feel y Mustaine switched on em. Jackson is really going downhill. They have a HUGE PROFIT MARGIN on that guitar you are holding made in china... unfortunately the customer is being screwed over as the end result. It looks nice but the price and imperfections are a no no Man they sure don't make Jackson's like they used to before.
I hate to admit it, but I agree. This is one of the coolest guitars I’ve seen in a while, but damn. I understand costs will always be passed down on the consumer in one way or another, but the markup Jackson is making moving the production to China while selling these for a premium is insane. I’d gladly pay for a Korean model at this price, but I hate digging the hole even deeper than I already do when it comes to our dependence on China.
The new MJ Jacksons are really nice, but overpriced.
Mustaine switched because Jackson/Charvel was put up for sale and he couldn't get enough investment backing to buy it.

Japan is pretty much on par with Western Europe or the US when it comes to production costs due to wages and environmental regulation.
Chinese labour is getting expensive but they have lower standards when it comes to health, safety and environment.
I like the way u play.
Definitely have your own style.
Very cool
When I hang this guitar with my strap and grab the neck, I did not feel the density of this guitar which makes a guitar The guitar. And Its very over priced when theres only 100 bucks to Jeff loomis or Ltd James Hetfield Models.
You need satup
I can’t stand it they put a price like that just for the paintjob and the painted neck and headstock,i got a kramer baretta the expensive 800€ model and it’s the best guitar i ever played
So…it’s about luck?
I don't necessarily know but the quality is pretty good, just sometimes things can be missed like any brand. As for shipping, the company who sells it better pack it super safe
for 1500 its not convincing
