The Lord has really been working on me. I became a real Christian a few months ago, and I have a Strong urge to avoid sin. I know I'm not completely from Sin, but I'm getting there. One thing that has become incredible for me is my desire to want to meet the lord. I use to be afraid of death, but now I embrace it. Even if I only get to stand in the lords presence for a second. I can't wait to feel that overwhelming love and happiness.
Cindy Henry oh goodie. I have a new sister. Hurray!!!! That's a strong start my sister. Good news. Ask the Lord for discernment because your a baby Christian. Which means you can possibly be vulnerable. The closer you get to Jesus the better it gets. He gives you everything you need. Wisdom. Discernment. Hand your life completely to Him. Trust in Him. There are times when the Lord will break you down. But that's normal. You gotta rip off the bandage in order for the wound to heal. The point is my sister. No matter how lonely or painful life becomes, always seek him always trust him and he will be there.

A lot of people made it seem like once you accepted Jesus everything is perfect rite away, but my experience is very much like you explained. It's a relief to hear that the lord does break you down as I've struggled lately. I always knew evil existed, but it has never been more obvious as it is now. Cindy Henry no problem. And you're not sounding crazy. I've seen and experienced stuff that would scare a ghost. Lol. Jesus will open your eyes for you to see and ears for u to hear and sometimes it's not so pleasant. Sometimes I feel like I can't take seeing the evil anymore but the Lord is there and he walks with me through the flames. It's necessary to we can witness and get more to the Lord. My only regret is that I didn't walk with Jesus sooner in my life. Would have avoided alot of mistakes. Jesus sees your pain and he will take your pain and turn it around to something tremendous. I have seen my enemies fall at my feet and the Lord prepares me a table in the presence of my enemies. So ur not crazy. Jesus uses us in different ways and each walk with the Lord is as individual as a snowflake. He cares about your desires and your thoughts and knows each one. He loves beyond human understanding. Cindy Henry I didn't even look at the video start looking at the comments I really liked your comment I feel the exact same way as you do it is a good feeling and very peaceful not to be afraid of death and also have a desire to be with him don't understand it myself but this is the new me I have always believe in the Lord Jesus Christ but I have grown near to him and I am so anxious to meet him it seems like he has taking off yours from me as far as stuff and I don't worry about things like that anymore I am waiting for him to call me home it's going to be an exciting time for me but of course have to wait up on him he will prepare a place when the time comes I hope I am good enough to get there and have please Tim enough to be with him I am trying some days are easier than others
AMEN! That is the correct view. You'll get there, Christian. It's a walk.... it lasts your entire life. Look to Jesus and look to the cross. Don't ever let anyone tell you you aren't saved.
Scripture, read it and it will sustain you. 1 John 2:14 young man you are strong and abide in the word and you have overcome the evil one. You can fight every sinful desire through scripture. But most of all sanctify Christ as Lord in your heart. Meaning treat Him as holy. Fear Him….

I was a false Christian in a mega church for years until the Lord got a hold of me and transformed me forever. I felt new life life enter me and I have not been the same since. I have been on fire for God with passion to study the Word and pray since then. Praise God. I became quite aware that I had not been saved when I thought I was earlier-quite a sobering revelation!

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. It’s no wonder the Lord’s Prayer implies that we are to daily ask for forgiveness.

As everyone I struggle with sin. The one thing in the last few years the Spirit of God has really worked on my thought life. This has enabled me to have victory against sin. I have come to believe with the Lord's help I control my thought life (bringing every thought into obedience to Christ). I am careful what I let into my mind, what I see and what I hear, especially what I read. I see what incites lust and I avoid it. The battle is in the mind. Saturating my mind with Scripture and things of Lord, especially music really enables victory. I am not presumptuous enough to thing I have arrived. The key is to submit to the Lord Jesus and trust not in my own heart. Keeping the Cross in the center of my thinking keeps my bearing in life. How can I sin when my Beloved Lord Jesus hung on a tree because of sin.

If you're sinning and hoping to be given a moment before you die THEN you may want to pray that God will take you when you are conscience, aware and awake, that you will be given the chance to confess before your death. Seems like a shaky way to live. See Jacob who trusted Gods promises ALL his life.

God knows that we are weak because of the effects of the Original Sin inherited. To help us to overcome this weakness and become holy as He is Holy, Our Lord instituted Sacraments in His Church founded on the 12 Apostles (Rev 21:14) with St. Peter as His Vicar (Pope) on earth. In addition to cleansing by the Sacrament of Confession, the baby needs spiritual food to grow to become a mature man. The Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist is the Bread (John 6:35-58) given to the members of the Church so that they grow to mature men, bearing abundant fruits worthy for Heaven (John 15:5). Without the Sacraments instituted by Our Lord and administered by His Church, which is the power He gives to members of His Church to make them children of God (John 1:12), one can't have the Sanctifying Grace, which is the wedding garment (Matt 22:12-13), required for salvation. Therefore to be saved, one must be a faithful member of the Church. Otherwise, whatever one does, for example, read Bible, pray to God, preach God, and try to do good to others, it will be no avail. That's why 'Extra Ecclesiam nulla salus (outside the Church, no salvation)' is a Catholic Dogma (Catechism No. 846). plasticmoon222, if you’re a Christian, born again of the Holy Spirit, you DO NOT live in willful sin. Can you mess up sometimes, let a curse word slip out, get angry and short-tempered with someone? Yes, but the Holy Spirit will immediately convict you of it. Anybody who truly has the Holy Spirit and lives in willful, intentional sin would never have a moment of peace.

@@JaydenANDStar ask God for the grace to overcome. He will deliver you if you hate the sins of addiction. He does not want us in bondage to anything. It is also important that you exercise your will to agree with God, meaning you will work with Him (His grace) to overcome. Renounce agreement with addiction and break it’s power over you in the name of Jesus (say this out loud). Several times a day. This is a battle that you can and will win. Satan is going after your health, so you are rising up and saying “No! You can’t have my health!” I hope this makes sense. The warfare is real but thanks be to God for Jesus Christ who gave us power over sin.

I was always told that because we are man we have to sin, it's in our nature. If you believe in the gospel . This teaching HAS me. The most fearful thing we can ever hear is "Depart from me you worker of iniquity for I have not known you." After that there is no hope. However we have hope in Jesus. NEVER let go.

To everyone who thinks he is preaching works over salvation, I don't believe he is. He is saying people who have truly asked Jesus into their heart with a sincere conviction, will also be chastened by God and the Spirit. Salvation is not just one and done with a prayer. That is where it starts. It is the seed by which your spiritual life is born and awakened. Are you clinging to salvation doctrine as some sort of single ingredient recipe? Ask yourself, Can you plant a seed, then leave it to the heat without water, let the weeds overcome it's bedding, and still expect to be yielding fruit? You have to receive God and his calls on a daily basis. "Give us this day our daily bread". Imagine accepting a well-paying job with good benefits, not showing up after the second or third day, and then thirty years later asking where is your retirement you were promised? Is that the job you've been given?
Α & Ω, no it’s not. If someone has the Holy Spirit in them and they commit willful sin the Holy Spirit wouldn’t give them a moment of peace until they repent. Living in a manner pleasing to God doesn’t earn us one iota of righteousness. The only righteousness we have comes from Christ and what He did for us on the cross. But the Holy Spirit transforms our hearts and minds to where we want to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh.
The power of God is in the Gospel of Christ (Romans 1:16). To faithfully declare this Gospel, we, therefore, must avoid offering a formula of works for salvation. That means we must be careful about using expressions such as “Ask Jesus into your heart” or “Give your life to Christ.” These expressions must be left out of our vocabulary if we are to powerfully present the Gospel! I know, I know----Ask Jesus into your heart (i.e., to be saved), is one of the most common sentences in modern Evangelical circles. However, it is sheer un-biblical humanism. It puts man in control of his salvation. It asks man for a contribution. It tells him to ‘do’ something rather than receive that which has already been ‘done.’ Salvation, however, is not a decision originating in man; it is from start to finish the work of God. We are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone! Furthermore, the terminology, “ask Jesus into your heart” although a well-meaning phrase is backwards and deceptive. The spiritually dead and ungodly person is made acceptable to God only “in Christ,” and not because they prayed to ask Jesus into their hearts. It is a sovereign working of the Holy Spirit that places a person into Christ!
Those are very good questions! With regard to working out your salvation with fear and trembling, this verse has been debated a lot,, but remember Paul is talking to True believers that are saved... He would not want us living in constant fear,, neither would God,, perfect love casts out all fear! The proper translation for Fear in the Greek here would be referential respect.. the trembling part can be attributed to the holy Spirit.. and being close to him! Also you have to look at the context of why Paul was saying this? There were many false teachers, around the Philippian Church.. Paul was encouraging believers to not get lazy,, but to keep working out their faith / salvation with seriousness.. also once you're saved you're safe forever! you're sealed by the holy Spirit until! You are a new creation,, you are the righteousness of God in Christ! God now sees you through his son... And sees your sins washed clean. You are a child of God and adopted into his family! Jay Heinz God, I hope so...because I am a pathetic worm who can’t seem to get a handle on my addictions and lust. Even though I know they are wasting my life. It is true though, whenever I am at my strongest in regards to resisting these wretched behaviors it’s always when I have contemplated the life of Christ and prayed to Him for mercy.

I tried living the Life, and walking the walk for forty years, from March 1, 1973 to May 15, 2013. I went to bed as usual on Tuesday night and awoke Wednesday morning completely and utterly different as I discovered later that week. Profanity in movies suddenly bothered me. Movies with sexual scenes produced a revulsion, and I ended up going through the channels until I discovered RUclips. I came across a preacher and became absorbed in the message. Another followed, then another. Yet, I didn't know until the next day when I went to the supermarket that something radical had happened to me. Someone pulled out in front of me and drove 35 miles per hour. Before, I'd have eaten the steering wheel, but this time, a thought crossed my mind. "Could be the Lord wants me to slow down." I spent forty years as a failed believer living in the backside of the spiritual desert who often returned to his own vomit. For nine years now, I marveled how the Lord worked in me, but I didn't know why--until I saw this video. Now, I know. God did not allow me to live the rest of my life in sin. He intervened, and I thank Him from deepest reservoir of my heart, soul, and spirit. Thank you for letting me see and understand at last what happened to me that day. People who knew me saw the difference too. I just couldn't explain it and didn't try.
Yes but when it says Everyone Falls short does that mean that God wants you to use that as an excuse for your sin like so many people do. Do you think the Gods word that he intended for you to use Paul as an excuse scapegoat for your sin by bringing up what his word says I mean God's word by the way.
20:54 man was that me. I would swear up and down I was saved, but I had anger I couldn’t control. I didn’t understand where it was coming from. Finally I heard the truth, and my Lord set me free, in an instant I was humbled, on my knees my anger and impatience washed away. That’s how I know Jesus was given the power from our Father. He literally changed my heart.

With respect, Barnet is wrong here. Scripture addresses carnal Christians who practice sin. He also may be creating salvation by works without even realizing it. 1 Corinthians 3:15 “If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as by fire.”

@@mangao4334 Sure, I think there's an easy answer to this. First, Scripture says we still sin as believers. We have the Holy Spirt, but we often don't do what the Holy Spirit convicts us of. Second, Scripture describes a dual nature, in which we struggle our spiritual nature (ie. being in Christ) with our fleshly/carnal nature. Paul writes about this in detail, and writes to saved people who are acting carnally, and even calls himself carnal. Third, Scripture also makes it clear we're not saved by sinning less. We're saved only by God's grace when we trust in Jesus (and only Jesus) as savior. Fourth, a number of Christians set up human expectations for fruit/works, and they feel the need to judge one's salvational state according to these expectations. This is an attempt to play God, and it's divisive and wrong. If a person says they're saved, and believe in Jesus, that should be the end of it.

There may be more allowance for carnality than this preacher is letting on, but I won't go to the other side and say anyone who believes in Jesus is saved. Remember Jesus says to cut off a body part if it causes you to sin. Or he says he will spit the lukewarm out of his mouth. The Bible is pretty clear we can't be living a life of sin, but on the other hand Christians still do sin. Finding the intersection between these two poles is the tricky part. But wise advice says don't take any chances with your life.
We are saved by GRACE. We are sealed. You will sin-so repent. Have a personal RELATIONSHIP with God. Talk to HIM and avoid RUclips confusion. Read Jeremiah 17:5-8 This speaker means well, but GRACE and your sincere repentance is what matters most.

@@SleepySylvanians God didn't save our sin nature we were reborn spiritually, a new birth. Our sin nature is not salvageable. "The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak." We grow in grace not by focusing on sin but rather growing in our knowledge of The Christ. Yes, we must acknowledge sin in our life and deal with it through Gods Word. I couldnt forgive my dad untill I understood how much God forgave me.
Praise God in His MERCY, that He allowed me to receive His courtesy wake up call in 2015 when I was still a non-repenting 'token christian'. Since then I have been back on that narrow path, heading for that narrow gate. This all requires considerable emotional and spiritual effort (Yes! Work!) on my part to stay focused on Him (a bit harder with ADHD) instead of me-me-me, to cooperate with the Holy Spirit to learn to become humble for the 1st time in my 68years (a pretty foreign & continuosly challenging concept for me), plus the neverending development & discipline of other spiritual characteristics. As far as I'm concerned, embracing God's Grace is a daily struggle of choosing to engage with Him, surrendering to Him in order cooperate with the work He has to do in me. But to be honest, although it isn't easy for me, (plus I'm impatient like a toddler) it has been miraculously successful in slowly changing me and my dark heart. My still as-of-yet non-believing husband acknowledges these changes and improvements in my character. Praise God.

(Praise Jesus Christ, for all who live Holy and sin not.) The message is, IF we sin (not when) we have an advocate with the Father, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Being Holy, is not a works based salvation, it is the fruits of salvation. I pray this helps anyone on the wide path see the Light shining on the narrow path.
We all sin, we sin every day. Some of us, those of us that are saved try every day all day not to sin, but we will always fall short. If you ask me that's what makes it so easy to love God with all your heart and cling to Him, hold on to Him with all our might. Because of His promise that He won't let go of us. God knows that we are weak because of the effects of the Original Sin inherited. To help us to overcome this weakness and become holy as He is Holy, Our Lord instituted Sacraments in His Church founded on the 12 Apostles (Rev 21:14) with St. Peter as His Vicar (Pope) on earth. The Sacrament of Baptism makes the baptized a child of God (John 1:12) restoring the Sanctifying Grace lost and a member of His Mystical Body, the Church whom He saves (Eph 5:23), and, at the same time, forgives all past sins committed by the baptized. A sin committed by the baptized darkens the beauty of his soul, takes away the Sanctifying Grace from him, and separates him from the communion of life with God. Sin causes the person to return to slavery under Satan, who thus exercises his evil dominion over him, and leads him along the road of eternal perdition. To meet our extreme weakness (to sin), Our Lord instituted the Sacrament of Confession in which He absolves sins and communicates His Graces to heal and strengthen the soul and to form new hearts and a renewed life in the penitent. The soul of a newly baptized is a spiritual baby (Hebrews 5:12-14, Eph 4:13-14, 1 Cor 14:20). In addition to cleansing by the Sacrament of Confession, the baby needs spiritual food to grow to become a mature man. The Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist is the Bread (John 6:35-58) given to the members of the Church so that they grow to mature men, bearing abundant fruits worthy for Heaven (John 15:5). Without the Sacraments instituted by Our Lord and administered by His Church, which is the power He gives to members of His Church to make them children of God (John 1:12), one can't have the Sanctifying Grace, which is the wedding garment (Matt 22:12-13), required for salvation. Therefore to be saved, one must be a faithful member of the Church. Otherwise, whatever one does, for example, read Bible, pray to God, preach God, and try to do good to others, it will be no avail. That's why 'Extra Ecclesiam nulla salus (outside the Church, no salvation)' is a Catholic Dogma (Catechism No. 846). Its referring to 'Christians' who know better, but WANT to sin and do NOT want to stop and repent. Their choice to sin ON PURPOSE because their hearts WANT to sin. No desire to stop. This is what he is preaching.

Ive been running from God and living in sin for ten years and im sick of it. I hate my sin and i do it again and again. Im living in sin. I believe and have been saved and was called to ministry and i ran. Im trying to fight my way back to the truth but i feel like i blew it and i deserve to go to hell i really do.. i just hope he will have mercy on me and help me back home
Believe on Jesus Christ and you WILL BE saved, read Epistle to Romans. Jesus is more than able to forgive ALL sins and NOT willing that ANYONE shall perish. As long you live he CAN and WILL forgive you if you humble yourself to Him and ask Him for forgiveness.

Sexual sin...makes..the mind and body heavy...you feel it....that is how..you know..you are out of line...with your spirit...the moment you face your sin and ask to be cleaned...you feel the burden removed....
The reason we sin is our distorted view of sin and of God. But we should be "learning our lessons" about sin. Like how shame feels, like how sticky and strong the ugly bonds are, like how regret can just follow us around constantly. Lessons like that. He allows us to travel down certain avenues we desire so we can see that it's really a broken down, lame place, and the restaurants are serving up rotten food. Amy Grant asks a question in one of her songs, "Are some lessons hard to learn?" I really think they can be humanly impossible to learn, but when God steps in, we realize, "Oh, Hallelujah! I'm free FINALLY! God freed me..I couldn't get free of that! Wow, I don't EVER wanna get near that avenue again!" Also, we need to learn that the garden of the presence of the Lord is a beautiful, peaceful, satisfying place. That following him is an exhilirating, fulfilling ride. And we learn better in some areas quicker than others. So we can be more or less obedient in our finances than we are in the area of sex or in our honesty. So we may have more victory in certain areas of our life. These victories can bring us encouragement to trust God in another area.

where did you get living a holy life from believing and repenting for salvation? Jesus used the snake on a staff that Moses used to save the Israelites a symbolism of how easy it is to be saved. Just like the Israelites looked at the staff to be saved from fiery snakes. We need to look to Jesus aka believe on him to be saved from a firey place called hell.
Unconditional Love God doesn’t change ur sin nature but instead givers u a new spiritual nature. The sin nature is still there though. How u live can never affect your salvation.
Unconditional Love your almost right accept God doesn’t change your heart but gives u a new a one. He does nothing with the old heart because if he did change our sinful heart there would be no need for the rapture. A saved person can choose to live exactly the way they did before being saved for the rest of there life if they choose. However, they should choose to live a life for God because of his amazing grace.

@@jayheinz4624 while many, including myself, believe that, we unfortunately live in a time where love has been redefined by many. This redefining of what love entails or how it looks has been done not just by the world, but even the professing church has changed the way love is defined. If I say I love my wife but I have an affair and cheat on her, do I really love her? Many in the church say, they love God and their fellowman but they continue to sin. So their understanding and what they think love looks like is what is a part of the deception. The prophets called out the people's sins out of love to turn them. Sometimes love comes in the form of rebuke, just like God chastens and rebukes those he loves. Like the proverb says... Proverbs27:5-6 5👉Open rebuke is better than secret love.👈 6Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful. I will be posting this all over to discords and to invividuals like family members, thank you for being one of the only ministers I found throughout the recent growth years learnign to battle sin, to actually preach true repentance and show me that I am going to hell if I linger in any of them, I am not free of all known sin, but still daily working on sanctifying the bitterness towards the fallen world, and of lust of the body (only slightly, but slightly is still not good enough, I want it to be entirely wiped out, every fleeting thought, I do not Mbate anymore though or give in to the thoughts, they just come here and there and need to be rebuked and resisted). I will continue to resist the devil and he will flee 1,000 miles away! Praise the Lord for staying with me for all these years, slowly working on me, despite my mistakes and misunderstandings, lack of time in the word, giving in to distractions like gaming, they are all gone now, and now I just work on fully purifying, then I will be ready to go out and street preach/help churches around me, etc, I do feel I need to read the bible fully multiple times first though! Perhaps that's just satan gettign one over on me making me think I am not worthy yet to outreach to others, and I will work on that too!
This teaching is like the tar baby from Uncle Remus. You embrace a little of it and start to notice the good works in your life and that validates your faith. What a great feeling! You embrace the teaching more because you feel affirmed and work a little harder. (You might also look left and right and notice how well you're doing compared to some of those other so-called Christians.) But eventually you start to notice your own sin. That can't be, because you know you're saved, right??? so you really amp up the works. Now the teaching has a hold on you. Salvation and works are becoming melded together in your mind. This teaching isn't helping you any more it's put you in chains and you start to fear. "Maybe I'm not saved." The solution: you work even harder! Suddenly your salvation has become about you and your works, and you have no peace. How did this happen? Because even though you knew you received salvation by faith, you thought that you had to live the Christian life by works. "This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? Galatians 3:2-3 KJV Remember James says breaking one law is a good as breaking the whole thing. Unless you think you can live perfectly, I wouldn't count on works for assurance of your right relationship with Jesus. Count on Jesus... alone! It might not keep everyone walking the straight and narrow the way you'd like (fear is such a good motivator), but at least it won't suck all the life, joy and peace our of a genuine Christian experience.
@@sjeter61 I agree with you. I think he has a very strong grasp on the Bible, but am a little surprised on this one. Im doubting his accuracy on this one. I’m not for easy grace where there is no difference between before and after salvations sinning. However sin does not ever stop! At best we control exterior sin (and I doubt that) but the mental things we can think of sometimes is quite sinful. All I know is to repent and ask for forgiveness as I can never be sin free. It’s as if sin is in our DNA. Yes am I different after asking Jesus into my life. Yes I do not do ALL of the sinful things I did prior to salvation. However where is that line of demarcation of less sin before salvation and still sinning sometimes after salvation? If it is not just believing in who and what Christ says and does for us, then I believe by this guys theology we are all toast.

Why would he have said these words, to former sinners? Was he just kidding around? Was he commanding the impossible? Or, could it be that he truly wants a Holy bride? Thoughts are not sins, if we take them captive and stop them. That is a temptation and even Christ himself was tempted, yet he did not sin. If you follow Christ, he will NOT lead you into sin. If you follow yourself, or another person, you will surly sin. This is why JESUS IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. We don't want to be the ones who hear the words, "depart from me you workers of inequity, for I never knew you." Remember, "if we sin, we have an advocate, with the Father." These are not "works" for salvation....these are fruits of salvation. It's easy for sinners to say "none are Holy and all who say they are, are liars and pharisees.", all while claiming that they are sinners, on their way to Heaven. If this is true, then the way to Heaven is wide and even those who claim to be Holy are going in. If what Jesus said was true however, then we should follow his command and go and sin no more. Saying you do not live in sin, is not saying you "have no sin". For all HAVE SINNED, but we have been washed. Repentance is not asking for forgiveness, it's going the other way, which is why Jesus said, "go and sin no more". Notice he didn't say, now you'll never sin again??? As we grow and follow Christ, we learn more, as he leads us. If we see, or hear of a sin, that was unknown to us, we repent of that sin too and go and sin no more. This is the daily walk. Not staying in sin every day and calling ourselves "saved". True peace in Christ, is not living in sin....it is true repentance. I Pray this helps anyone who is on the wide path.
It is the Spirit that sanctified the believer and produces the good works: fruits of the Spirit. Faith without works is dead. You are trying to justify sin in a believer's life. If we sin we have an advocate with the Father. If you are faithful to confess your sin; the Father is faithful to forgive and cleanse so you become less and less likely to sin. This teaching is for ALL born again believers. Praying for you now in April 2020.

The bible says if you continue to sin, you have never seen him or known him, a false convert will continue in his usual habitual sin, but a true christian will not hatually continue in his sin, being a christian doesn't mean you stop sinning because as long as we live in this flesh we will sin, paul makes that very clear in Romans ch7.
@Tony From Syracuse There's a clear difference between committing sin and living comfortably with sin. Even after you pick up your cross and follow Jesus, your heart is still deceitfully wicked. The temptations to satisfy the flesh are still there but now you have new information that gives you the power to resist them. Before you knew the truth, your human nature seemed fine but after discovering Gods word, you realize by our nature, we're children of wrath (Ephesians 2:3). You should no longer feel ok with doing/thinking many things you did before because now you know it angers God. That's why he explains in this lesson that you can't continue to live in sin because once you know the truth of the Bible, the Holy Spirit convicts you away from sin stronger than your temptations can lead you into it. If someone is sinning all the time and not having a problem with it, it's evidence that the Holy Spirit is not within them and thus, they have yet to be born again.

What alternative do we have? Psalm 51:5> Behold, in iniquity was I brought forth, and in sin did my mother conceive me. We are born with a sin nature we inherited from Adam. That isn't removed until after the resurrection and judgement.
True statement by you. But the scriptures say that as TRUE believers who are aided by the Holy Spirit, there will hence forth be a BATTLE, a STRUGGLE against our own fleshly desires to continually sin. We will not celebrate our sin, as the heathen do. We will want to please the Lord and to work toward being Christlike on a daily basis until our last breath on earth. In these corrupt bodies, we will not completely overcome sin in this world. Only when we attain our heavenly bodies will we completely free from sin. Otherwise, IF we could completely overcome sin in these bodies, there would be no need of a Savior.
Froman Abe Yes by the first Adam we were born in sin, but the second Adam , Jesus set us free from that sin and all our sins since we first believed on His name. We confessed our sin, and He is faithful to forgive us our sins and saved us from all unrighteousness. There is no salvation after death sir, but only now while you live and can choose Christ and live under Him who is our righteousness. Believe in His Name and be saved and ask for the Holy Spirit to teach you the truth. You can be a new creation in Christ Jesus, the last Adam.

No matter how Holy you live and how little sin you think you do your best efforts will not justify you to enter heaven. This is why we need Jesus. He who says he has no sin is a fool! God gave us the Law to show us His standard of Holiness. Only one man could ever live up to that standard God in the flesh Jesus Christ. He is our hope and our Victory the work he has done is complete. It is your choice to accept believe and have the faith that He has done this for you a sinner that would have been dammed to hell if it was not for Him. Why must we live holy sinless lives not that it justify us, but that it pleases God if we do so. We are able now more than ever to resist committing sin for we have the holy spirit convicting us and forever striving to make us more in the likeness of Jesus through the process of sanctification. A Christian is not someone that does not fall in sin. He is someone that sees himself through Gods eyes humbles himself, repents and stands up and keeps on fighting. Never give in or give up God is with you as long as you fight. God will give you all the tools you need to overcome as long as you keep going. We have a enemy who is like a roaring lion seeking whom he can devour, but remember through Christ our strength, the devil is a toothless lion who got his teeth kicked in at the cross of Calvary. Don't let yourself be judged by the Law for no one can keep the law perfectly. You just need fall in 1 sin in your lifetime and you will have become a Law breaker and deserve hell. Rather let Jesus be your Judge who has taken all sin past present and future and crucified it to a tree. Gods Yoke is light. The devil through the Farisees put tremendous burdens on the people and boasted how perfectly they kept the law. But Christ called them snakes and Vipers and full dried old bones. When they were able to get a convert they made a bigger servant of hell than themselves. At the end times we should let no man deceive you. Seek out your salvation with Fear and trembling. knowing that Jesus is your hope. Men of God has feet of clay they are not Christ who was with out sin. So as you fall in sin so they do as well. The difference is they will receive a double judgement if they are a teacher. We all need Christ's mercy without it where will we be?

You nailed it right on the head. The key word being "Unrepented". I was never discipled after Jesus Saved me. I didn't understand True Repentance. I love these videos. I have a John MacArthur study Bible and love it. I study verse by verse. I don't skip or skim Gods Word. I love the Meat Of Gods Word.

Jesus never expected "YOU" to live the Christian life! Infact it's not even possible. That's why he said... “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (Joh 3:3, KJV) You see dear one, it's not we who live the Christian life, it's His Spirit living it in us as we choose to participate together with Him. Ask Him today to be filled with His Holy Spirit and let Him live the "Christian Life" in you!

I feel like God has changed my heart and mind a lot , and he has brought me out of most of my sin .... still struggling with some stuff . If I can just stop I would , I don't know why He would save me from some sin and not others ... Im always under spiritual attacks and God has shown me its because of my sin I hold on to that keeps me from getting closer to Him . Why can't I stop. I know its me ,
@@jasonl7255 for by grace are you saved through faith in Jesus, not faith in false gods. If you believe a lie, become deceived, and stop having faith in Jesus you can not expect grace. Grace is only for those that have faith in Jesus, not in misinterpreted scripture.
I love this message… I’ve been chastened and man let me tell you it HURTS but is the most AMAZING experience one can have with the Lord. I went through a season of solitude in the wilderness were I lost everything forcing me to draw near to the Lord. As I grew closer to Him I couldn’t pray without getting knocked down (like a hit in the spiritual realm that literally knocked me in the physical!) with the conviction of my sins being filthy dirty rags in the presence of my Lord, but the moment I agreed with Him and said ‘yes my Lord’ the weight and pain lifted and immediately I was in awe of His holiness ❤️🙌🏼 for those who have yet to be chastened … don’t fear it, seek it wholeheartedly and ask to be consecrated and born again while there is still time!!
Jesus has set me free dealt with same sex attraction since I was kid and 41 now God has brought me out of the prison having people pray for me as helped . I have same sex attraction but have stopped sexual sin and stopped smoking weed / cigarettes pray for me Praising God for his mercy and grace
Totally disagree, Paul himself admitted he keeps sinning but because he acknowledges it and knows it's wrong and doesn't want to do it (although he can't help it) but wants to follow the law fully, it is no longer him that's sinning but sin itself Romans 7 14For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am of the flesh, sold under sin.15For I do not understand my own actions. I would probably go as far and say that anyone who thinks he will live out the rest of his days sinless is probably committing blasphemy as Jesus is the only one I know that was sinless and you are putting yourself on par with the Lord. If you rely on the works of your flesh to not commit sin then you are discounting the act grace that God did by crucifing his sinless son (lamb without blemish) and you will then be judged by your works and not through faith.
People forget what grace is. Grace is a free gift from God. When you sin that free gift of Grace insures that the price of that sin was paid on the cross

Paul’s disobedience was a result of his human imperfection, which is forgivable....because he repented, which means more than just “feeling sorry.” It means “to turn away” from the sin. Certainly you can turn away from a persistent sin multiple times. But the difference is willfulness. Because a Christian would not say “I don’t care what God commands. I want this too much to give it up and so I’m gonna do it anyway.” I’m not being haughty or judgemental here. There’s a reason I sought out this particular message. Have a Blessed day
From personal experience, He ain't happy with a 6 pack of IPAs once a week nor a 2mg nicotine gum habit. But Jesus keeps working on me because He knows Satan never stops trying to get me to fall. I have never met a true Christian who says they have ceased from sinning. Some people try to fool others outwardly, but God knows the heart. I have felt a lot like you did! and had a similar experience with backsliding.. your relationship with Jesus is probably better than it ever was even though you don't feel that way. You got beat up like I did buy the world, lies and the evil one.. I take some healing now to realize you are in a good place, in Christ,by the grace! Dispensationalism says sins are of the flesh and not of the spirit which is saved. Christians who sin are living in their fleshly sin nature however the soul will be redeemed as Christ says i will keep all that the Father has given me.The idea that there is no sin is simply wrong.

In 59 years I have never met someone free from sin, not even remotely close. Being free from sin means being perfect, exactly like Jesus. If that is the requirement, humanity is in trouble.

Being Born Again or now you are a New Creature you must continue to praying, fasting, reading-studying-meditating and abiding in the Holy Bible and Scriptures as we began striving towards Holiness and awaiting for the Fullness of the Holy Spirit where we will be empowered to do greater works. Remember without being Holy we cannot overcome sins, lusts, temptations, worldly passions, death, judgement, see the face of GOD, find our name written in the Lamb's Book of Life, nor enter Eternal Life with GOD. Personally, I can't understand why most Pastors don't teach or preach HOLINESS. They have problems with teaching and preaching against sins but rather just say their sinners. If you claim to be a Christian and continue returning doing sinful things and speaking lies GOD will chastise those who belong to him. Whether you know it or not but we can overcome, stop, not practice SINS in our lives because of what Jesus Christ did on that cross. Sins must be STOP in our minds, hearts, bodies, souls and Spirits!

I love the way you don't turn away from the hard sayings of scripture! As I was watching this video there were two other videos one a sermon presented one by A W Tozer and the other by Paul Washer men I repect. Ongoing Sin | Paul Washer Sin Willfully, No More Sacrifice - A. W. Tozer Both videos seemed to use the 1 Jn. 1.8 argument for a believer to sin. But if one reads all of 1 John he seems to say a believer will grow in godliness and and turn from sin. Also note Heb 6.4-8 seems to say the same thing as Heb 10.26-28. Both these scripture sets if taken literally seem to indicate we need to turn from sin! Whenever I find myself being convicted by the Holy Spirit He does not like the reponse of continuing to sin. I suspect the gate is more strait and the way more narrow than many in the modern church can conceive of. One must be truly born again and filled with the Holy Spirit. And then one must cruciy/morify this flesh as led by the Spirit! 2Co 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
I have no doubt that watching this pop up in my feed was not by chance. I've been living in habitual sin for a very long time. I know God has given me the tools to overcome desire, but I have to make a decision whether I choose to or not. The one thing I ask from God, is to remind me at all moments when I feel weak or begin to sin, is to put the image of Christ in my mind... And He does. I've also asked God to make me hate sin - to feel revolt for it. And I do. Music, movies and shows make me physically ill. I have no desire for them and it feels weird. But lust of the flesh is the worst of the worst. I would not wish this desire on anyone. It's crippling. I pray that I can stay strong to the end.

The Lord has really been working on me. I became a real Christian a few months ago, and I have a Strong urge to avoid sin. I know I'm not completely from Sin, but I'm getting there. One thing that has become incredible for me is my desire to want to meet the lord. I use to be afraid of death, but now I embrace it. Even if I only get to stand in the lords presence for a second. I can't wait to feel that overwhelming love and happiness.

Which means you can possibly be vulnerable. The closer you get to Jesus the better it gets. He gives you everything you need. Wisdom. Discernment. Hand your life completely to Him. Trust in Him. There are times when the Lord will break you down. But that's normal. You gotta rip off the bandage in order for the wound to heal. The point is my sister. No matter how lonely or painful life becomes, always seek him always trust him and he will be there.

Jesus will open your eyes for you to see and ears for u to hear and sometimes it's not so pleasant. Sometimes I feel like I can't take seeing the evil anymore but the Lord is there and he walks with me through the flames. It's necessary to we can witness and get more to the Lord. My only regret is that I didn't walk with Jesus sooner in my life. Would have avoided alot of mistakes. Jesus sees your pain and he will take your pain and turn it around to something tremendous. I have seen my enemies fall at my feet and the Lord prepares me a table in the presence of my enemies. So ur not crazy. Jesus uses us in different ways and each walk with the Lord is as individual as a snowflake. He cares about your desires and your thoughts and knows each one. He loves beyond human understanding. As everyone I struggle with sin. The one thing in the last few years the Spirit of God has really worked on my thought life. This has enabled me to have victory against sin. I have come to believe with the Lord's help I control my thought life (bringing every thought into obedience to Christ). I am careful what I let into my mind, what I see and what I hear, especially what I read. I see what incites lust and I avoid it. The battle is in the mind. Saturating my mind with Scripture and things of Lord, especially music really enables victory. I am not presumptuous enough to thing I have arrived. The key is to submit to the Lord Jesus and trust not in my own heart. Keeping the Cross in the center of my thinking keeps my bearing in life. How can I sin when my Beloved Lord Jesus hung on a tree because of sin.

The sacrifice of the sinless one was necessary so the sinful many could be set free from their sinful nature. This rescue from the law of sin happens through the renewing of one’s mind by the hearing and receiving of the Word of Truth and then through the work of the Holy Spirit which is residing within man after man believes and truly receives Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior .
This means that your mind must conform to God’s Word and the guidance of the Holy Spirit and must be constantly rejecting the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the boastful pride of early life ! In other words: constantly denying your sinful nature its lusts! Otherwise, the Holy Spirit does not reside within you, you’re refusing to listen to the Truth and, you’re nothing but a deceived individual living in the flesh and serving your lusts while serving a false christ and a god of your own imagination !!!

If you're sinning and hoping to be given a moment before you die THEN you may want to pray that God will take you when you are conscience, aware and awake, that you will be given the chance to confess before your death. You said "with every last breath". This implies multiple last breaths. How many last breaths do you plan on taking? The only way to have multiple last breaths, is to die and come back to life at least twice. Words matter.

God knows that we are weak because of the effects of the Original Sin inherited. To help us to overcome this weakness and become holy as He is Holy, Our Lord instituted Sacraments in His Church founded on the 12 Apostles (Rev 21:14) with St. Peter as His Vicar (Pope) on earth. The Sacrament of Baptism makes the baptized a child of God (John 1:12) restoring the Sanctifying Grace lost and a member of His Mystical Body, the Church whom He saves (Eph 5:23), and, at the same time, forgives all past sins committed by the baptized.
A sin committed by the baptized darkens the beauty of his soul, takes away the Sanctifying Grace from him, and separates him from the communion of life with God. Sin causes the person to return to slavery under Satan, who thus exercises his evil dominion over him, and leads him along the road of eternal perdition. The soul of a newly baptized is a spiritual baby (Hebrews 5:12-14, Eph 4:13-14, 1 Cor 14:20). In addition to cleansing by the Sacrament of Confession, the baby needs spiritual food to grow to become a mature man. The Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist is the Bread (John 6:35-58) given to the members of the Church so that they grow to mature men, bearing abundant fruits worthy for Heaven (John 15:5).
Without the Sacraments instituted by Our Lord and administered by His Church, which is the power He gives to members of His Church to make them children of God (John 1:12), one can't have the Sanctifying Grace, which is the wedding garment (Matt 22:12-13), required for salvation. Therefore to be saved, one must be a faithful member of the Church. Otherwise, whatever one does, for example, read Bible, pray to God, preach God, and try to do good to others, it will be no avail. Renounce agreement with addiction and break it’s power over you in the name of Jesus (say this out loud). Several times a day. This is a battle that you can and will win. Satan is going after your health, so you are rising up and saying “No! You can’t have my health!”

I was always told that because we are man we have to sin, it's in our nature. To everyone who thinks he is preaching works over salvation, I don't believe he is. He is saying people who have truly asked Jesus into their heart with a sincere conviction, will also be chastened by God and the Spirit. Salvation is not just one and done with a prayer. That is where it starts. It is the seed by which your spiritual life is born and awakened. Are you clinging to salvation doctrine as some sort of single ingredient recipe? Ask yourself, Can you plant a seed, then leave it to the heat without water, let the weeds overcome it's bedding, and still expect to be yielding fruit? You have to receive God and his calls on a daily basis. "Give us this day our daily bread". Imagine accepting a well-paying job with good benefits, not showing up after the second or third day, and then thirty years later asking where is your retirement you were promised? Is that the job you've been given?

Α & Ω, no it’s not. If someone has the Holy Spirit in them and they commit willful sin the Holy Spirit wouldn’t give them a moment of peace until they repent. Living in a manner pleasing to God doesn’t earn us one iota of righteousness. The only righteousness we have comes from Christ and what He did for us on the cross. But the Holy Spirit transforms our hearts and minds to where we want to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh.

Salvation, however, is not a decision originating in man; it is from start to finish the work of God. We are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone!

The spiritually dead and ungodly person is made acceptable to God only “in Christ,” and not because they prayed to ask Jesus into their hearts. It is a sovereign working of the Holy Spirit that places a person into Christ!

Those are very good questions! With regard to working out your salvation with fear and trembling, this verse has been debated a lot,, but remember Paul is talking to True believers that are saved... He would not want us living in constant fear,, neither would God,, perfect love casts out all fear! The proper translation for Fear in the Greek here would be referential respect.. the trembling part can be attributed to the holy Spirit.. and being close to him! Also you have to look at the context of why Paul was saying this? There were many false teachers, around the Philippian Church.. Paul was encouraging believers to not get lazy,, but to keep working out their faith / salvation with seriousness.. also once you're saved you're safe forever! you're sealed by the holy Spirit until! You are a new creation,, you are the righteousness of God in Christ! God now sees you through his son... And sees your sins washed clean. You are a child of God and adopted into his family! I tried living the Life, and walking the walk for forty years, from March 1, 1973 to May 15, 2013. I went to bed as usual on Tuesday night and awoke Wednesday morning completely and utterly different as I discovered later that week. Profanity in movies suddenly bothered me. Movies with sexual scenes produced a revulsion, and I ended up going through the channels until I discovered RUclips. I came across a preacher and became absorbed in the message. Another followed, then another. Yet, I didn't know until the next day when I went to the supermarket that something radical had happened to me. Someone pulled out in front of me and drove 35 miles per hour. Before, I'd have eaten the steering wheel, but this time, a thought crossed my mind. "Could be the Lord wants me to slow down."
I spent forty years as a failed believer living in the backside of the spiritual desert who often returned to his own vomit. For nine years now, I marveled how the Lord worked in me, but I didn't know why--until I saw this video. Now, I know. God did not allow me to live the rest of my life in sin. He intervened, and I thank Him from deepest reservoir of my heart, soul, and spirit.
Thank you for letting me see and understand at last what happened to me that day. People who knew me saw the difference too. I just couldn't explain it and didn't try.

20:54 man was that me. I would swear up and down I was saved, but I had anger I couldn’t control. I didn’t understand where it was coming from. Finally I heard the truth, and my Lord set me free, in an instant I was humbled, on my knees my anger and impatience washed away. That’s how I know Jesus was given the power from our Father. He literally changed my heart.

First, Scripture says we still sin as believers. We have the Holy Spirt, but we often don't do what the Holy Spirit convicts us of.
Second, Scripture describes a dual nature, in which we struggle our spiritual nature (ie. being in Christ) with our fleshly/carnal nature. Paul writes about this in detail, and writes to saved people who are acting carnally, and even calls himself carnal.
Third, Scripture also makes it clear we're not saved by sinning less. We're saved only by God's grace when we trust in Jesus (and only Jesus) as savior.
Fourth, a number of Christians set up human expectations for fruit/works, and they feel the need to judge one's salvational state according to these expectations. This is an attempt to play God, and it's divisive and wrong. If a person says they're saved, and believe in Jesus, that should be the end of it.

There may be more allowance for carnality than this preacher is letting on, but I won't go to the other side and say anyone who believes in Jesus is saved. Remember Jesus says to cut off a body part if it causes you to sin. Or he says he will spit the lukewarm out of his mouth. The Bible is pretty clear we can't be living a life of sin, but on the other hand Christians still do sin. Finding the intersection between these two poles is the tricky part. But wise advice says don't take any chances with your life.

Praise God in His MERCY, that He allowed me to receive His courtesy wake up call in 2015 when I was still a non-repenting 'token christian'. Since then I have been back on that narrow path, heading for that narrow gate. This all requires considerable emotional and spiritual effort (Yes! Work!) on my part to stay focused on Him (a bit harder with ADHD) instead of me-me-me, to cooperate with the Holy Spirit to learn to become humble for the 1st time in my 68years (a pretty foreign & continuosly challenging concept for me), plus the neverending development & discipline of other spiritual characteristics. As far as I'm concerned, embracing God's Grace is a daily struggle of choosing to engage with Him, surrendering to Him in order cooperate with the work He has to do in me. But to be honest, although it isn't easy for me, (plus I'm impatient like a toddler) it has been miraculously successful in slowly changing me and my dark heart. My still as-of-yet non-believing husband acknowledges these changes and improvements in my character. Praise God.

We all sin, we sin every day. Some of us, those of us that are saved try every day all day not to sin, but we will always fall short. God knows that we are weak because of the effects of the Original Sin inherited. Believe on Jesus Christ and you WILL BE saved, read Epistle to Romans. Jesus is more than able to forgive ALL sins and NOT willing that ANYONE shall perish. As long you live he CAN and WILL forgive you if you humble yourself to Him and ask Him for forgiveness.

Sexual sin...makes..the mind and body heavy...you feel it....that is how..you know..you are out of line...with your spirit...the moment you face your sin and ask to be cleaned...you feel the burden removed....

I’m sorry, but that just sounds like an excuse to not even bother! Paul says that we should be striving for perfection.
The reason we sin is our distorted view of sin and of God. But we should be "learning our lessons" about sin. Like how shame feels, like how sticky and strong the ugly bonds are, like how regret can just follow us around constantly. Lessons like that. He allows us to travel down certain avenues we desire so we can see that it's really a broken down, lame place, and the restaurants are serving up rotten food. Amy Grant asks a question in one of her songs, "Are some lessons hard to learn?" I really think they can be humanly impossible to learn, but when God steps in, we realize, "Oh, Hallelujah! I'm free FINALLY! God freed me..I couldn't get free of that! Wow, I don't EVER wanna get near that avenue again!" Also, we need to learn that the garden of the presence of the Lord is a beautiful, peaceful, satisfying place. That following him is an exhilirating, fulfilling ride. And we learn better in some areas quicker than others. So we can be more or less obedient in our finances than we are in the area of sex or in our honesty. So we may have more victory in certain areas of our life. These victories can bring us encouragement to trust God in another area.

where did you get living a holy life from believing and repenting for salvation? Jesus used the snake on a staff that Moses used to save the Israelites a symbolism of how easy it is to be saved. Just like the Israelites looked at the staff to be saved from fiery snakes. We need to look to Jesus aka believe on him to be saved from a firey place called hell.

Unconditional Love God doesn’t change ur sin nature but instead givers u a new spiritual nature. The sin nature is still there though. How u live can never affect your salvation.
Unconditional Love your almost right accept God doesn’t change your heart but gives u a new a one. He does nothing with the old heart because if he did change our sinful heart there would be no need for the rapture. A saved person can choose to live exactly the way they did before being saved for the rest of there life if they choose. This redefining of what love entails or how it looks has been done not just by the world, but even the professing church has changed the way love is defined. If I say I love my wife but I have an affair and cheat on her, do I really love her? Many in the church say, they love God and their fellowman but they continue to sin. So their understanding and what they think love looks like is what is a part of the deception. The prophets called out the people's sins out of love to turn them. Sometimes love comes in the form of rebuke, just like God chastens and rebukes those he loves. Like the proverb says...

I will be posting this all over to discords and to invividuals like family members, thank you for being one of the only ministers I found throughout the recent growth years learnign to battle sin, to actually preach true repentance and show me that I am going to hell if I linger in any of them, I am not free of all known sin, but still daily working on sanctifying the bitterness towards the fallen world, and of lust of the body (only slightly, but slightly is still not good enough, I want it to be entirely wiped out, every fleeting thought, I do not Mbate anymore though or give in to the thoughts, they just come here and there and need to be rebuked and resisted). I will continue to resist the devil and he will flee 1,000 miles away! Praise the Lord for staying with me for all these years, slowly working on me, despite my mistakes and misunderstandings, lack of time in the word, giving in to distractions like gaming, they are all gone now, and now I just work on fully purifying, then I will be ready to go out and street preach/help churches around me, etc, I do feel I need to read the bible fully multiple times first though! Perhaps that's just satan gettign one over on me making me think I am not worthy yet to outreach to others, and I will work on that too!
This teaching is like the tar baby from Uncle Remus. You embrace a little of it and start to notice the good works in your life and that validates your faith. What a great feeling! You embrace the teaching more because you feel affirmed and work a little harder. (You might also look left and right and notice how well you're doing compared to some of those other so-called Christians.)
But eventually you start to notice your own sin. That can't be, because you know you're saved, right??? so you really amp up the works. Now the teaching has a hold on you. Salvation and works are becoming melded together in your mind. This teaching isn't helping you any more it's put you in chains and you start to fear. "Maybe I'm not saved." The solution: you work even harder! Suddenly your salvation has become about you and your works, and you have no peace. How did this happen? Because even though you knew you received salvation by faith, you thought that you had to live the Christian life by works.
"This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
Galatians 3:2-3 KJV
Remember James says breaking one law is a good as breaking the whole thing. Unless you think you can live perfectly, I wouldn't count on works for assurance of your right relationship with Jesus. Count on Jesus... alone! It might not keep everyone walking the straight and narrow the way you'd like (fear is such a good motivator), but at least it won't suck all the life, joy and peace our of a genuine Christian experience.

I’m not for easy grace where there is no difference between before and after salvations sinning. However sin does not ever stop! At best we control exterior sin (and I doubt that) but the mental things we can think of sometimes is quite sinful. All I know is to repent and ask for forgiveness as I can never be sin free. It’s as if sin is in our DNA. Yes am I different after asking Jesus into my life. Yes I do not do ALL of the sinful things I did prior to salvation. However where is that line of demarcation of less sin before salvation and still sinning sometimes after salvation? If it is not just believing in who and what Christ says and does for us, then I believe by this guys theology we are all toast.
@@CrochetNewsNetwork so strange then, that Christ said "go and sin NO more". Also, he said "be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect." Are these commands, or just "suggestions"? Why would he have said these words, to former sinners? Was he just kidding around? Was he commanding the impossible? Or, could it be that he truly wants a Holy bride? Thoughts are not sins, if we take them captive and stop them. That is a temptation and even Christ himself was tempted, yet he did not sin. If you follow Christ, he will NOT lead you into sin. If you follow yourself, or another person, you will surly sin. This is why JESUS IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. We don't want to be the ones who hear the words, "depart from me you workers of inequity, for I never knew you."
Remember, "if we sin, we have an advocate, with the Father." (not "when" we sin) And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. I Pray this helps you to follow Christ and His commandments. These are not "works" for salvation....these are fruits of salvation. It's easy for sinners to say "none are Holy and all who say they are, are liars and pharisees.", all while claiming that they are sinners, on their way to Heaven. If this is true, then the way to Heaven is wide and even those who claim to be Holy are going in. If what Jesus said was true however, then we should follow his command and go and sin no more. Saying you do not live in sin, is not saying you "have no sin". For all HAVE SINNED, but we have been washed. Repentance is not asking for forgiveness, it's going the other way, which is why Jesus said, "go and sin no more". Notice he didn't say, now you'll never sin again??? As we grow and follow Christ, we learn more, as he leads us. If we see, or hear of a sin, that was unknown to us, we repent of that sin too and go and sin no more. This is the daily walk. Not staying in sin every day and calling ourselves "saved". True peace in Christ, is not living in sin....it is true repentance. I Pray this helps anyone who is on the wide path.
It is the Spirit that sanctified the believer and produces the good works: fruits of the Spirit. Faith without works is dead. You are trying to justify sin in a believer's life. If we sin we have an advocate with the Father. If you are faithful to confess your sin; the Father is faithful to forgive and cleanse so you become less and less likely to sin. This teaching is for ALL born again believers. Praying for you now in April 2020.

The bible says if you continue to sin, you have never seen him or known him, a false convert will continue in his usual habitual sin, but a true christian will not hatually continue in his sin, being a christian doesn't mean you stop sinning because as long as we live in this flesh we will sin, paul makes that very clear in Romans ch7.

@Tony From Syracuse There's a clear difference between committing sin and living comfortably with sin. Even after you pick up your cross and follow Jesus, your heart is still deceitfully wicked. The temptations to satisfy the flesh are still there but now you have new information that gives you the power to resist them. Before you knew the truth, your human nature seemed fine but after discovering Gods word, you realize by our nature, we're children of wrath (Ephesians 2:3). You should no longer feel ok with doing/thinking many things you did before because now you know it angers God. That's why he explains in this lesson that you can't continue to live in sin because once you know the truth of the Bible, the Holy Spirit convicts you away from sin stronger than your temptations can lead you into it. If someone is sinning all the time and not having a problem with it, it's evidence that the Holy Spirit is not within them and thus, they have yet to be born again.
It's a lifelong progress (pilgrims progress).... keep heading towards Jesus. If it was easy, everyone would do it.

But the scriptures say that as TRUE believers who are aided by the Holy Spirit, there will hence forth be a BATTLE, a STRUGGLE against our own fleshly desires to continually sin. We will not celebrate our sin, as the heathen do. We will want to please the Lord and to work toward being Christlike on a daily basis until our last breath on earth. In these corrupt bodies, we will not completely overcome sin in this world. Only when we attain our heavenly bodies will we completely free from sin. Otherwise, IF we could completely overcome sin in these bodies, there would be no need of a Savior.

We confessed our sin, and He is faithful to forgive us our sins and saved us from all unrighteousness. No matter how Holy you live and how little sin you think you do your best efforts will not justify you to enter heaven. This is why we need Jesus. He who says he has no sin is a fool! God gave us the Law to show us His standard of Holiness. Only one man could ever live up to that standard God in the flesh Jesus Christ. He is our hope and our Victory the work he has done is complete.
It is your choice to accept believe and have the faith that He has done this for you a sinner that would have been dammed to hell if it was not for Him. Why must we live holy sinless lives not that it justify us, but that it pleases God if we do so. We are able now more than ever to resist committing sin for we have the holy spirit convicting us and forever striving to make us more in the likeness of Jesus through the process of sanctification.

Don't let yourself be judged by the Law for no one can keep the law perfectly. You just need fall in 1 sin in your lifetime and you will have become a Law breaker and deserve hell. Rather let Jesus be your Judge who has taken all sin past present and future and crucified it to a tree. Gods Yoke is light. The devil through the Farisees put tremendous burdens on the people and boasted how perfectly they kept the law. But Christ called them snakes and Vipers and full dried old bones. When they were able to get a convert they made a bigger servant of hell than themselves. At the end times we should let no man deceive you. Seek out your salvation with Fear and trembling. knowing that Jesus is your hope.
Men of God has feet of clay they are not Christ who was with out sin. So as you fall in sin so they do as well. The difference is they will receive a double judgement if they are a teacher. We all need Christ's mercy without it where will we be?

I feel like God has changed my heart and mind a lot , and he has brought me out of most of my sin .... still struggling with some stuff . If I can just stop I would , I don't know why He would save me from some sin and not others ... I love this message… I’ve been chastened and man let me tell you it HURTS but is the most AMAZING experience one can have with the Lord. I went through a season of solitude in the wilderness were I lost everything forcing me to draw near to the Lord. As I grew closer to Him I couldn’t pray without getting knocked down (like a hit in the spiritual realm that literally knocked me in the physical!) with the conviction of my sins being filthy dirty rags in the presence of my Lord, but the moment I agreed with Him and said ‘yes my Lord’ the weight and pain lifted and immediately I was in awe of His holiness ❤️🙌🏼 for those who have yet to be chastened … don’t fear it, seek it wholeheartedly and ask to be consecrated and born again while there is still time!!

Totally disagree, Paul himself admitted he keeps sinning but because he acknowledges it and knows it's wrong and doesn't want to do it (although he can't help it) but wants to follow the law fully, it is no longer him that's sinning but sin itself

I would probably go as far and say that anyone who thinks he will live out the rest of his days sinless is probably committing blasphemy as Jesus is the only one I know that was sinless and you are putting yourself on par with the Lord. If you rely on the works of your flesh to not commit sin then you are discounting the act grace that God did by crucifing his sinless son (lamb without blemish) and you will then be judged by your works and not through faith.
People forget what grace is. Grace is a free gift from God. When you sin that free gift of Grace insures that the price of that sin was paid on the cross

Blue Bird the difference is willful disobedience. Paul’s disobedience was a result of his human imperfection, which is forgivable....because he repented, which means more than just “feeling sorry.” It means “to turn away” from the sin. Certainly you can turn away from a persistent sin multiple times. But the difference is willfulness. Because a Christian would not say “I don’t care what God commands. I want this too much to give it up and so I’m gonna do it anyway.” I’m not being haughty or judgemental here. There’s a reason I sought out this particular message. Have a Blessed day
From personal experience, He ain't happy with a 6 pack of IPAs once a week nor a 2mg nicotine gum habit. But Jesus keeps working on me because He knows Satan never stops trying to get me to fall. I was so blind to it before becoming a believer and purity remains a huge fight for me personally... I stumbled onto a picture from my baptism (which was a year ago) last night and cried, because I was so happy then now I'm really struggling.

Name can be erased from the book of life. That’s found in revelation. Even the devil believes, demons tremble. Takes more than just believing.
This is true, but for TRUE believers who sincerely work to avoid all sin. Work out your salvation with fear and trembling, the mentality of OSAS is a path to hell even though it is Biblical is a sense that doesn't mean our thoughts should be on that.
I have never met a true Christian who says they have ceased from sinning. Some people try to fool others outwardly, but God knows the heart. Jesus called the Scribes and Pharisees vipers and scorpions for putting things on the Jews that they themselves could not keep. Jesus has paid the price of sin for the whole world. He has offered His gift of righteousness to all who will believe and trust in Him. We as Christians are sealed by The Holy Spirit until the day of redemption. "Ye shall know the truth and the truth will make you free."
I have many friends who say they are Christians but bear no fruit. The true sign of a Christian is OBEDIENCE to God's word. Many will be surprised when they die that they were never born again, do not be that person. Repent while you still have breath. Amen
If a believer can not live in sin until the end of their life and still go to heaven, then that makes God a liar, and Jesus of no effect. John 3:18 Believers are not condemned, but unbelievers are condemned already, because they have not believed on the name of the Son of God.
If a believer can not live in sin and still go to heaven, then that makes us the savior, and Jesus died in vain. A believer is one who is sealed by the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption. Ephesians 1:13 and 4:30.
What you are saying is that what Jesus did is not good enough and we have to keep our selves saved. That makes us the savior and Christ of no effect.

I was a Bad Evil Child Growing Up. Not because I wanted to be. Just no one ever told me or taught me anything different. And because I was a Bad Unwanted Foster Problem Child. That Was Neglected. Made it all the Worse. I was raised out in the Wilderness. The Woods. And was never Taught Nothing about Nothing. Anything about Anything. Never went to School much. Didn't know anything about God. And Everything I learned about God was Late in Life. Never could find any Good Christians.
But did because a Christian Late In Life. Backslid for many years. Repented. But my Relationship with God And His Son Jesus Christ has never been the Same. 😢 😥
I have felt a lot like you did! and had a similar experience with backsliding.. your relationship with Jesus is probably better than it ever was even though you don't feel that way. You got beat up like I did buy the world, lies and the evil one.. I take some healing now to realize you are in a good place, in Christ,by the grace! I would encourage you to check out Andrew Farley and the grace message is great about answering hard scary and also Mark De Jesus, he is really good about helping people that have went through what we have. 🎶

Dispensationalism says sins are of the flesh and not of the spirit which is saved. Christians who sin are living in their fleshly sin nature however the soul will be redeemed as Christ says i will keep all that the Father has given me.The idea that there is no sin is simply wrong.

The Church Age will soon END in the Rapture of the Church. AFTER the Rapture (some time after) the anti-Christ will rise to power and make a 7-year Peace Treaty with Israel and that time is known as the Tribulation. AFTER the 7 year Tribulation Christ will return WITH the church that has been Raptured more than 7 years prior. Then the 1 000 year Millennial reign of Christ WITH the Church begins. Amen!!!

In 59 years I have never met someone free from sin, not even remotely close. Being free from sin means being perfect, exactly like Jesus. If that is the requirement, humanity is in trouble.

The Corinthian church was full of believers who committed blatant flagrant sins and yet were still saved true believers who will go to heaven according to 1 Cor. 5:5 ; 11:30-32
Please pray for my mom, her name is Jennifer. She knows this is true but lives with her boyfriend and never goes to church or reads the Bible. Pray that God will send someone to evangelize to her as I am trying but I'm working on my emotions when I try to talk to her.

most Pastors don't teach or preach
HOLINESS. They have problems with teaching and preaching against sins but rather just say their sinners.

According to the Apostle John, an Overcomer is someone that stands firm in their FAITH in Savior Jesus until that person physically dies -- see 1John 5:4-5.

As I was watching this video there were two other videos one a sermon presented one by A W Tozer and the other by Paul Washer men I repect. Ongoing Sin | Paul Washer Sin Willfully, No More Sacrifice - A. W. Tozer Both videos seemed to use the 1 Jn. 1.8 argument for a believer to sin. But if one reads all of 1 John he seems to say a believer will grow in godliness and and turn from sin. Also note Heb 6.4-8 seems to say the same thing as Heb 10.26-28. Both these scripture sets if taken literally seem to indicate we need to turn from sin! Whenever I find myself being convicted by the Holy Spirit He does not like the reponse of continuing to sin. I suspect the gate is more strait and the way more narrow than many in the modern church can conceive of. One must be truly born again and filled with the Holy Spirit. And then one must cruciy/morify this flesh as led by the Spirit! 2Co 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
Lord have mercy upon me, a sinner
I have no doubt that watching this pop up in my feed was not by chance. I've been living in habitual sin for a very long time. I know God has given me the tools to overcome desire, but I have to make a decision whether I choose to or not. The one thing I ask from God, is to remind me at all moments when I feel weak or begin to sin, is to put the image of Christ in my mind... And He does. I've also asked God to make me hate sin - to feel revolt for it. And I do. Music, movies and shows make me physically ill. I have no desire for them and it feels weird. But lust of the flesh is the worst of the worst. I would not wish this desire on anyone. It's crippling. I pray that I can stay strong to the end.
This is wear the line is drawn.

Galatians 5 and romans 7 are the clearest chapters of our two natures
Sin is indwelled in us so it's foolish to say we cant or wont sin after salvation. We have a choice to follow flesh and get chastened by God or follow spirit and be blessed by God.
Obedience is how the flesh can see our faith. Becauae we cant see what is spiritual. Our obedience doesnt prove salvation either its how people know we are real. James 2
