I keep faith even as I struggle as a single mother. Both of my sons are special needs children. They require so much from me yet I know I AM BLESSED to be their mother. Lord Jesus give me strength as I struggle providing the basic necessities like clothing and groceries. Lord Jesus please continue to carry me through this difficult time help me provide for my boys so I can hold my head up.

How does that work when we are always sinful?
I dont love God enough, I don't worship Him enough, I don't always love my neighbor enough etc
Im to pray daily for forgivness of my trespasses
Paul called himself a wretch who did what he didn't want and didn't do what he should do.
As best as I try, I am still a wretched sinful man.
Being sinless with a sinless mind is one of the greatest blessing in heaven

I’ll try to help and use an example in my life. I have a work friend. This friend is wild. He gets drunk almost nightly. He’s had sex with probably 20 girls since I met him. He confesses The Lord Jesus Christ 100%. He says things like “I’m a sinner, Jesus died for my sins, we are all sinners. I don’t have to stop any of this. I can’t fully repent, neither can you, even thinking sexually is adulterous”
Absolutely wrong. If I look at a pretty girl, and think lustful thoughts, I’m not happy about it, I’m not in support of it, it was a mistake, it is a sin, that Jesus suffered for. I hate my sin. I’m not going out on a mission to get as many girls as I can, or any girl for that matter outside of my wife. If I gave in to sexual sin, I’d be against it. I wouldn’t go around saying “duuuhhh so what, we’re all sinners, Jesus died for me”
NO. I’m against sin. I hate it. If I sin, it’s a mistake. Not something I openly practice intentionally, taking advantage of Jesus, as if he is some chump who paid my son debt.

You are saved by Grace through faith and this is not a result of works. Were called not to live in sin anymore because our love for what God has done for us on the cross, his grace from the substitutionary attonment of Jesus. Because he is everything and will be our future.
Lest I remind you of romans chapter 10:9 that anyone who declares with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, will be saved.
We worked diligently in the perfection that is Jesus. So that when we stand before him, we can be blameless. But some people might have a distorted view of Christianity, but they still believe Jesus is Lord, who died for them.
    Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭21‬-‭23‬
““Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”
The lawlessness is that they are trusting on their works for salvation, Jesus Christ is the finished work.
    REMEMBER JOHN 6:40
And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”
By Grace that you’ve been saved by faith so that no man may boast. Every person has sinned and fallen short and needs understanding of this so that they can better their relationship with God who died for them.
    Romans 6:1-2
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Elizabeth, I know you believe that 1+1=2, but wanting it to be 3 or 4 isn't going to happen. Scripture is the same Jesus began a tradition. Salvation is only possible when practising believing and following that tradition.
      1CORNITHIANS 11
23 For the tradition I received from the Lord and also handed on to you is that on the night he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took some bread,
24 and after he had given thanks, he broke it, and he said, 'This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.'
25 And in the same way, with the cup after supper, saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Whenever you drink it, do this as a memorial of me.'
26 Whenever you eat this bread, then, and drink this cup, you are proclaiming the Lord's death until he comes.
27 Therefore anyone who eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord unworthily is answerable for the body and blood of the Lord.
      28 Everyone is to examine himself and only then eat of the bread or drink from the cup;
29 because a person who eats and drinks without recognising the body is eating and drinking his own condemnation.
30 That is why many of you are weak and ill and a good number have died

The confusing part is when you say true believer. So that would be your definition of a believer in Christ-the true part. So when Jesus says he will not lose one the Father gives him…the question is, was that part not true? We have to do our part by enduring? Enduring to the end refers to those who survive the tribulation - they will be saved. It’s really not that hard.

Great point my friend. People tend to overlook that part. The misinterpretation of enduring to the end makes people doubt their salvation. The gospel gives salvation and comfort to believers, not continual doubt. How can someone be saved…Acts 16. Just that simple. God bless

If the thief on the cross, somehow was miraculously saved from the cross, and went about his life. Would he have gone about living an intentionally sinful life, knowing Jesus died for his sin. Or would he be so thankful, and filled with The Holy Spirit, that he would be on a mission to live obediently for the remainder of his life.

@@Mc-ln3gr that’s a what if, maybe, could’ve went down this way type of question. So since it didn’t happen that way, it’s irrelevant. That doesn’t give us the right to come up with our own scenario on the process of salvation. God don’t speak in riddles.

Goodness, the lack of discernment in this comment section. Maybe we have a bunch of unrepentant, unregenerate sinners masquerading as Christians? This message should provoke us to seek The LORD to help us examine ourselves. Instead, I see a bunch of people making excuses for sin.

@@FaithInTheFire777 we (believers) are going to be confronted with sin until death. Some days good, some days bad, some days an utter failure. It’s Christ who brings us through. He who says he has no sin is a liar…sin is death. We are wrapped in sin (our body), which is decaying, is representative of sin. Paul struggled with sin. Was he then condemned? The Bible shows us how we should live as believers, but also lets us know the difficulties we will face and at times we will wander (some more than others) like the sheep we are. Understanding our weakness, strengthens us through Christ. God told Paul his weakness is His strength (paraphrasing).

I haven't watched yet but.... I'm guessing he is speaking of those who say they are Believers but openly live in sin and could care less about it. Were all sinners, that's for sure. However, you can't openly live in sin and be saved, SCRIPTURE is very clear on this... Know ye not that the.......... thief, drunk, homosexual, fornicator, adulterer.....Shall not inherit the Kingdom of God. This is in 1 Corinthians chapter 6, if I'm remembering correctly. Galatians also says the same thing. Can't openly live in these behaviors and be saved, the two don't mix. If your truly born again, you won't be doing these things as a lifestyle. Born again Believers are not going through tribulation, overwhelming evidence of scripture to support that. You'll be pleasantly surprised at the rapture!!

Not true. There are ramifications of sin, but no loss of salvation. Paul says to be like Bereans in Acts 17. See for yourself what salvation means. Christ either knows you or he never knew you. Why would God turn his back on a lost sheep? Read Matthew 18:12-24…the wandering sheep refers to a believer.
