I watch a lot of these kinds of videos.
And the comments I read are, "Oh!! This is great!!" "What a neat idea!!" "Using only Dollar Tree items, recycled items...."
What isn't taken into account are all the things needed to create an item......
Basket - $1.25 to $5.00
Stone look spray paint - $27.00
Casters - $15.00
Rope - $5.00
Misc. hardware......glue.....saw........decals.....material.....etc.
So a $1.25 to $5.00 item has now cost a person more - unless you already have a workshop.

@3.04 ..Those trash bins or any bins are so expensive in my country.
I don't think many people would have an old trash bin, especially that type being an attractive bin. I like your videos though, some great ideas.
Some old and some new ones, but all great ideas. What I love about them is they are purely “ideas” so I take the ones I want to use and add my own twist to them to make my own DIY’s. TFS ❤

Stop being rude. If this isn't for you, then it just isn't for you. Some of us actually like some of these ideas. Instead of being negative and mean just go watch something else. Geesh, some people are just miserable
so if I glue one basket to another basket, I will have two baskets but they are now glued together so can only be used for not carrying things.
Thank you for these ideas. I wish there was a wider variety of ways to style these baskets. Hot glue rope around the outside is not cheap and has been overdone. Please give us some NEW tips. Also, the baskets may be cheap but all the spray paint, caulk, etc is not cheap and it can add up.

Use the wooden bins tipped on their longer side, with a wood slat running across the front to create a lip. Then put some straw in, a fake egg to give them the hint, and they will lay there. Hens like a bit of privacy for laying😊, so have them in the side of the hen house.

These inexpensive diy's look very cheap. I would not waste a moment making any of them. They are not good enough for a dorm room, let alone a home. Grade: F

Didn't your mom teach you the saying " If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything ". Some people don't have a lot of money, so it's good for them.
@suemcdonald7096 You mean like you just said something that wasn't nice? You are not more entitled to an opinion than anyone else. These are not cheap to make when you consider the cost for all the add ons like paint, jute rope, etc. Once you've totaled up the complete expenditures, you're left with costly junk that won't last much longer than the time it took to make them.
If our opinions differ, then we can agree to disagree on this matter.
