I actually have this one. Last time I used it I was playing Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous video game on Xbox series X. The game is actually Pathfinder rules based. There is a core rule section that explains how combat is handled. There's lot's of lore and you need to know your game to pass some of the challenges. That's were this book came in handy.
Regarding atheism in fantasy settings. I believe it makes sense, but it's important to notice that the implication of atheism in those settings is very different from the one it has irl. The idea of a person that does not believe in gods in a world where gods can walk among mortals is absurd, but definitely not impossible. So, not the equivalent to irl atheists, but rather "fantasy flat-earthers".

I would go with inventing a new word for it.
An treat them as if they are people just like flat-earthers.
