In the 80s or 90s nobody was nonbinary. Nonbinary did not exist. People were fine being ANDROGYNOUS. That was a real thing. People forgot about it.

Exactly! I'm 47 and I'm so glad I grew up in the 80s and 90s. As a teenager I used to love dressing androgynous and I'd wear really flamboyant clothes and make up. But I'm still a man. I think non binary is all attention seeking bullshit. In my day we were all our own unique individuals, and we never felt the need for validation.

There were non binary people in the 1780's ffs. Just because you didn't hear about them doesn't mean they didn't exist. Thinking that something doesn't exist because you can't physically see it is something you are supposed to grow out of in pre school, not adulthood.

I get so tired of upper middle-class white women telling other women who are white that they are privileged. I had this happen in person with an old college friend. She grew up in a very wealthy household, but has tried her entire life to seem like an outlier. The truth is she’s a straight white woman with children and a husband, but to hear her stories she’s not really straight, her husband is her partner, not her husband, etc. Some people who are truly privileged Just have a desperate need to try claim to be the rebellious ones when in reality when you just look at their lives, they’re actually pretty standard

I think many people use partner interchangeably with spouse without indicating gender. I know I have until only recently because some people assume it is gender specifying, and that was news to me! I'm 33.
Yeah what's up with the partner thing. Sure my husband is my partner in many things even work but the man is my usband. lol
I used "partner" when i was in a long term relationship, simply because, at the time, it was usually a giveaway that someone was in a same-sex relationship, and I thought it was unfair to have to out yourself when you may not want people to know that (like in the workplace). I'm straight and figured it was just an easy way to possibly help someone else out without stepping on toes or speaking up for them, etc. It was just something small to quietly help blur the assumption, so maybe gay people wouldn't always be put in a position to feel they had to either blatantly lie about the gender of their spouse/significant other, or come out.
This isn´t about "trans" against "non trans", this is "sane" against "insane". And I´ll firmly stand on the side of the sane ones like you, Marcus.

I had kind of an opposite experience. I was very deep into the culture of affirming and accepting that BS like neopronouns are valid. I then actually became friends with some transsexuals who began to express their issues with this mentality/culture so I began to listen to others with a platform. My entire mind and viewpoints have been flipped, and though I’d most likely be considered a “transphobe” by the wokies, I feel like I have developed a deeper respect for transsexuals with gender dysphoria than I EVER had. I also have a deeper understanding of the real issues. Now it’s really hurting me to see actual transphobia on the rise due to these activists, which regular normal transsexuals are taking the brunt of the hate for. It’s all so demented.
I am NOT cis. I am a WOMAN. I was born a woman, I live as a woman and I will die as one. I am so freaking tired of all these labels and pronouns. I REFUSE to subscribe to it. If you look like a woman I will refer to you as she, if you look like a man I will refer to you as he. I think maybe for those that are trying to look like both combined maybe "it" is appropriate. I don't think people should be allowed to transition until they are 25 which is when the brain is fully formed. Unless they can prove they are mature enough to understand the consequences of their actions. I also think that more doctors need to have actual credentials that specialize in the gender dysphoria and such if they want to prescribe medications like puberty blockers and hormones and so on. I think too many of these doctors are not qualified to distinguish between a phase and the real thing and these people need extensive mental health care before even going on hormones or anything. The world is a mess.

My Aunt's sister transitioned in the 70's I am guessing. I met him in 1980 and he had fully transitioned. At that time he was in his early 40's. He was amazing. I was 17 and full of questions. He was completely open with our conversation and it made an impact on me. He just wanted to live his best life.
Transsexuals do want to live their best lives. Transgenders want everyone else to live their worst lives.

2 years ago I had absolutely No problem with the TQ+; I have friends and co workers that are trans, gay, lesbians, etc. Now because of these people screaming it in to a real woman’s face that We have to give up our safe spaces, that real women are ”priveldged” my views have changed and not for the better.
And if the radical trans activists who think that biological males are entitled to go into women's private spaces believe that they are going to prevail with this bs, they have another long think coming. I adore you, your logic, your viewpoint… You! Thank you for helping to educate on gender dysphoria, and how most teens are uncomfortable in their bodies- it doesn’t mean they are IN the wrong body. The internalized homophobia some feel, the belief that a trans female has the same experience as a woman with endometriosis, ovarian cysts, cancerous lesions that have had to be removed- it’s all minimizing serious mental health issues that must be addressed.
I’m disabled- I look “normal” and get so much hate because of it, then add in constantly being told I’m not allowed to smile when that is like my natural state, and I think that’s amazing given my horrible health and pain I experience daily.

I wholly reject that I’m “cis”. I’m a woman. I’m a pretty nice person. I don’t care what other adults do with their body. They want us to respect their pronouns and call them what they ask to be called.(no matter how inaccurate). Fair enough. I have no problem doing that. I think people should be polite and be respectful in general unless you’ve been given considerable cause not to be. But respect should go both ways. And if women don’t like being referred to as “cis”, shouldn’t that be equally respected? I don’t feel like it’s too much to ask. Be respectful, and in return, be respected. It seems fair to me.
As a trans woman, I transitioned to look the gender I felt I was born to me. I have no grand delusions about being a biological woman. I know the body I was born with, am I happy about it, not really, but I accept it and am medically transitioning to make myself feel more feminine and I work very hard on myself to become the woman I know I can be. I absolutely adore your content, Buck Angels and Blair Whites as well

Buck is fantastic! He’s done more for the trans community than anyone else. He’s paved the way for trans individuals to be accepted and understood by mainstream society. Unfortunately, people like her want to destroy all he’s done. He gave you a voice, sweetheart. Show some respect.
We already accept what these "trans" people really are. They are what they were born as, nothing else. So for example, unless Buck changed her female sex chromosomes/organs, SHE is still a woman. There is no point in calling her as a man. She is just a masculine woman.

The definition of tans they give is “you are trans if you don’t 100% identify with your gender.” What does it mean to 100% identify with your gender? What qualities and characteristics would a person need to exemplify to show they 100% identify with their gender?
It's just another random "justification" thrown out that only continues muddying the waters. The community already can't answer, "What is a woman?" (or what is a man, although not as frequently asked) and depending on who you ask, non-binary can be both or neither. So if there's no actual definitions here, then how does anyone 100% identify with [gender]? Including those who've fully transitioned, how do they really know?

Marcus, you're absolutely right about us normal LGBT speaking out more, and I've been doing videos for the last year as an everyday, masculine gay guy. After 25+ videos with little traction, suddenly RUclips decided to push my video talking about the change of definitions and a "non binary" talking about being a lesbian....i show and use the dictionary definition of the word, yet am blasted with comments about how it's "non-man loving non-man".
It is bizarre and frustrating! I think words should have meanings, and we should use them properly, call me crazy! 10 years ago when I graduated high school and came out, none of this was a thing...

A while back i joined a Bi community so i could speak to like minded people, however when they found out i married a man they kicked me out saying i no longer belonged there because i have commited to being straight! I couldn't understand it, as if marrying a man changed my sexuality. I received so much hate from them. They were nasty. They told me i could no longer claim i was part of the LGBT+ community. So i don't. i want nothing to do with their crazy community!
There are, unfortunately, quite a number in the T and activist 'ally' category who just make a lot of trouble and incite with their own hatred a backlash response. If we could just get the 'no child puberty blockers and hormones and surgery' platform and the 'no men in private spaces for women and on women's sports teams' platform resolved (in favor of the 'nos' here) there would be no reason for problems for trans people at all.

I don't "identify" as my sex, I just AM a woman. I wouldn't even say I fit the stereotypes (no makeup, hate romance, zero mother instincts), so by their logic, I should be trans... but I'm a woman who's just a little different from what's usually expected, and that should still be fine.

Three months ago this person said she felt best in a feminine dominate body then switched back to taking testosterone. They are also always having some kind of crisis that they need financial support for. We need to send them money instead of being like the rest of the world and getting a job and insurance. If they were truly disabled they would get Medicare and wouldn’t be constantly making claims about not having insurance. My daughter is disabled. She had Medicare and it covers her appointments etc. Don’t burden society because you don’t want to work.
