- Wimbledon 2024 starts tomrrow so it's time to put in the predictions for the event but not just your average predictions. We got through the most aces, best unseeded run, who will be the dark horse of the event and of course who will win featuring Jannik Sinner, Emma Raducanu, Iga Swiatek, Novak Djokovic, Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina.

Hey Cam! I like the new format better than the old one. I don't know if you saw my comment under the last video. I still think Hometown Favorite would be a good category. This would also provide variety in the different tournaments, because of course they don't all take place in the same country.

The darkest horse is Rybakina!!! She can win, loose or even withdraw.😅 Unpredictable girl!

We're becoming a bit predictable so let's start with the predictions! - Cam, you are a hoot and a half!
Another category to add is Most Meltdowns - including arguments with the umpire 😆😆
If Rybakina doesn’t beat herself, it’s hers to win.
She is within same quarter as Samsonova, Ons , Pegula - all of them have positive h2h against her.
Don't forget Kalinskaya! Both 1ga and Elena really landed only their cryptonites around them! But Elena's draw is even more difficult.. meanwhile, bottom half of the draw is filled with amateurs! Naomi, Keys and Gauff must save that bottom half.. but yes, I hate this draw so much.. probably the most lopsided one in history! And last year's one was similarly lopsided, but not as this one is.. nothing tops this one, especially with all the withdrawals (Aryna, Alexandrova, Vichka).. a horror show..
Sinner vs Nole is my prediction for mens final and same for womens as Cam Sabalenka vs Rybakina. Hopefully Nole can stay fit with that knee so we can get rematch vs Sinner for epic final cuz Sinner vs Hurkach won't be as exciting

Everybody seems to comment about Zverev not being able to beat Top 20 guys on grass but it's Fritz who has never beat any Top 40(!!!) on grass. His grass titles come from Eastbourne where no top players go, so he has no competition. He had to beat #94, #60 and #79 to win them. Can he go far in Wimbledon? Yes, of course he can with his game and good draw, but his grass record is rather overinflated. It's a bit like picking Hurkacz to win Roland Garros, tbh
I don't bet on Rybakina lasting till 2nd week, she always gets sick. I'm surprised she is still in. Knowing your luck in predicting Cam, it's 0.01% that any of your final picks will materialize.

Very nice format Cam, wasn't expecting this! Especially the 1st parts of the video.. could add the SPOILER of the tournament, like Vondrousova last year.. and the HERO of the tournament, like Ons with that epic run through the draw last year. For me this year, the hero would be Sinner with that horrid draw, and again Ons or 1ga or Elena or Jessie cos of that incredibly lopsided draw filled with grass court specialists, slam champs and actual good players.. the spoiler of the tournament for me would have to be rune and kasatkina.. you can also call them the hero's journey + villain's run! So HERO = a fav who navigates a tremendously difficult draw to either go far or win, and a SPOILER/VILLAIN = not a fav who doesn't have to play anyone big, but is predicted to manage to just get a win from 1 fav and either go far or win it all.. I love this idea! And would love seeing you talk about this :) woo good luck mate 🙏

Half way through: I would still give you half a point for Hurkacz, Keys (because they both got injured during the match but would've done well had that not been the case- especially Keys) and Ruud (because while Rublev and Vonrousova were the real upsets he still lost in the 2nd round).
I like that for all the slams you count coco out but she’s always the only one to show up in all of slams
And just not too long after you post this Cam, Alexandrova withdrew! Raducanu instead getting a lucky loser in what already looked like a doable draw. Great chance for Raducanu now to make a quarterfinal!

Carlos vs Hubi in the finals >> Carlos wins.
Also feel Diana Shnaider would have surprise run in Women’s.

If you understand the art of war, then you understand that terrain is it important element. Should I go on? Yeah I will. That has been factored in to all these players strategy.
Watching Alcaraz in the first game. Something is off. He will be lucky to get through this round. He has taken charge of the 3rd set. He can’t play like this in the 2nd match though
He'll sail through to the SF unlike Sinner who lost a set already to a nobody 😂
@@chufeng9425 Yes, Sinner losing a set to #86, and nearly bagelled or breadsticked, seems to suggest that maybe Sinner is not in top form. And he has a lot of potential tough matches ahead which can easily go 5 sets. Did anyone win a slam by playing 5 setters in every round?
I've got a Djoker Sinner final. I'm gonna pick Sinner as the winner. However we are talking about Djoker who has won 7 Wimbledons. And to note for historical purposes, Ken Rosewall made it to the final of Wimbledon at 39. 39, mind you. Djoker definitely has another Wimbledon in him. Maybe this year. I don't think the knee will be factor unless he gets carried out on a stretcher. 😂
Swiatek, Rybakina, Gauff,and Sabalenka are the world's best female tennis ninja players. These will be our end tournament options for at least til the end of this year. You're just a tout.

*Hurkacz* has a big serve and plays well on grass. I see him going far at least semifinals and even the final.
*Sinner* has a tough draw just to get to the semifinals against Alcaraz.

On the women’s side, Swiatek could well win the whole thing if Rybakina has health issues.
Dark horse prediction has nothing to do with form but hype. Fernandez, Schnaider and Vedic all done well on grass recently but picking Raducanu just show hype matters. Even Tim Herman is predicting Katie Boulter will do better than Raducanu.

Rybakina is one slam wonder! She lacks motivation to win another slam. She has talent but doesn’t have the strong willpower like Iga to win multiple slams. She can’t figure out her sleep and allergy issues- how do you expect she is going to resolve issues in the court?
