Ever since that day it has been an endless loop of calling the police, police showing up, them turning the music down, then turning the music back up as soon as they drive away. Police know me by name and know every single one of my neighbors by name. Music isn’t the only thing that my neighbors do that annoy literally everyone that lives near us. They also threaten to kill each other (gunshots have been heard before), shoot fireworks, let their children run around screaming without adult supervision until 4 in the morning, and have drug deals in broad daylight. This is at an apartment complex, and the thing that sucks is that everyone that lives there knows each other. Parties outside every night. No one complains about them except the people that don’t live there.

Funny thing. My apartment neighbor plays loud music, especially at late and early hours. It goes right through the wall. But he also has a bluetooth speaker and notices come onto my phone "this device wants to connect to you" very often. I've ignored then out of respect, not to mess with others stuff. But one night at 3am I get the pop-up and hit connect. Then I blasted the most obnoxious music I could find. 🔊 I could hear it loud and clear from his place. 😂 It was glorious.

I've heard some good stories about people getting revenge by playing music loudly early in the morning that is the antithesis of the loud neighbors tastes - for example, Handel's Hallelujah Chorus. My own personal tip for anyone wanting to try this out, would be to use Percy Grainger's "Love Verses from the Song Of Solomon". But I never before heard of someone actually hijacking the neighbors music feed.... that's taking it to another level!

The best way to get revenge would have been to call the police for "Disturbing the Peace", which is a crime in America (the country they are so fond of). That noise ordinance fine would have been about $200-$400, which they would have learned to respect your wishes of NOT playing music at 9 am.
Depends on the zoning. My father in law had a house that was technically in a commercial zone. The neighboring building was a dance hall that got rented out every Friday and Saturday night for Mexican wedding celebrations. It was god awful, and the police could do nothing about it.

Actually this is not all that effective. The police will offload this to the EPA as a "noise pollution" complaint, since proving that this was a crime worthy of fine requires that measurements be taken with the proper tools eestablishing certain DB thresholds at a given distance. A pushy bastard can make going about it this way take about 6 months to resolve before anyone even comes to take a measurement. Source: I was the pushy bastard.

My neighbor just threatened me with a gun bcuz I asked nicely for him to turn down his bass music at 2:30 am.It is 2:30 a.m. it's not the weekend ppl have to work in the morn go to drs apts. Etc. But my neighbor doesn't care he blasts his bass music all night long and we're in a flat building that has 4 apartments in it he's right next to me and my elderly mother were both in bad health and he knows it. He's an older man in a wheelchair had his legs shot off he's a dope dealer slangs illegal guns I now think he's on drugs and an o.g. gang banger so I didn't want to call the police to have him turn it down I didn't want to get him in trouble with the landlord even though he does this everyday since he moved in months ago and I've asked him nicely several times to please turn the bass down late at night during the weekdays. He doesn't respect it. So a little bit ago I was so tired I couldn't stand it and haven't had much sleep in days because of his music and have health issues so I finally decided to go knock on his door and ask nicely to please turn it down. What does he do after I knocked 4 times waiting the 5 minutes for him to come to the door he was trying to ignore me so he finally says who is it with an attitude and I said your neighbor and said my name he knows my name we talked many times I've even walked to the store for him took out his trash etc. So he opens the door waving a gun at me and looking all crazy while threatening me don't you dare come to my door late at night. It ain't safe for u when I got dis gun in my hands etc. Etc. Etc. I still stayed calm and nice and said I'm sorry I am coming to your door late at night but i wouldn't have had to if your music wasn't so loud I'd already be asleep. I'm only trying to nicely ask for u to turn it down. He still continues to wave a gun and make threats and try to intimidate me. I said I'm going home please have some respect and turn the music down good night God bless you. He's supposed to follow Islam he's not a foreigner I guess he joined the Islam brotherhood in prison but I figured he would understand I was still trying to be patient and understanding and not have trouble but after I said that he still made threats. Now I'm upset so I still can't sleep. I can't believe I was just done this way. I mean I could have just called the police and had them go to the door to tell him to turn it down which I think he really would've been upset about being that he does a lot of illegal stuff but I wasn't trying to do that to him although there is a noise ordinance he could've gotten fined. I could've reported him so many times to the landlord or police. But I don't believe in calling on people. I try to do things in a nice way and he does me like that? Wow what has this world come to? I mean he's pretty much telling me that it doesn't matter how loud his music and bass is while it's literally shaking my entire apartment the pictures are rattling on the walls and I tried to drown out the sound with my earbuds and relaxing music so I could go to sleep but that didn't help bcuz his system is so loud. The best way to get revenge would have been to call the police for "Disturbing the Peace", which is a crime in America (the country they are so fond of). That noise ordinance fine would have been about $200-$400, which they would have learned to respect your wishes of NOT playing music at 9 am.
Depends on the zoning. My father in law had a house that was technically in a commercial zone. The neighboring building was a dance hall that got rented out every Friday and Saturday night for Mexican wedding celebrations. It was god awful, and the police could do nothing about it.
It would have been a warning, but also hopefully this guy has enough decency to realize a harmless prank is a much better solution (obviously it worked) than trying to take money out of a home that might not have very much to begin with. No need to call the cops over every little thing . . Let the punishment fit the crime or karma is going to come back and bite you in the ass.

Actually this is not all that effective. The police will offload this to the EPA as a "noise pollution" complaint, since proving that this was a crime worthy of fine requires that measurements be taken with the proper tools eestablishing certain DB thresholds at a given distance. A pushy bastard can make going about it this way take about 6 months to resolve before anyone even comes to take a measurement. Source: I was the pushy bastard.

even if they do have a pass you can grab it .... just use a standard exploit to connect to the wifi.... once on the network the other computer will ask to share the share folder you can use an other exploit from here to grab there pass.... the rest is cake
