I like to think that this narrator is doing, ALL, the voices in a Ciaphas Cain impression. So that’s his impression of her. Which, would be really ok brand for Cain.
The artistic direction of that "female" voice feels wrong. Very odd to find something on this excellent channel that I could describe as cringe, but this is it.
I haven't read any of the Ciaphas Cain books (or any 40k book, for that matter); but from a few things I previously heard, I believe that this Amberly Vail is the woman that later gets possessed by a slaaneshi daemon. Though, it's more or less a suspicion from my part based on this sole excerpt. So anyone can feel free to correct me in the reply section.
