Great investigative job by this young Ghanaian Aljazeera reporter on gold scams in Ghana!

Good job by the Ghanaian authorities also.

Great story. Wish you were around 15yrs ago to bring awareness. I was a victim of Ghana, Mali, Sierre Leone and Burkina Faso transactions, working with a group of individuals here in the States who I thought were Legit. Biggest plunderer of African minerals today is by far China... don't let the "colonialist" accusations fool you... the table has turned, now china has its grip on all corners of african resources

Iddriss Mahmoud Indeed! If it was just this government then how come it’s like this all over Africa, with the possible exception of Kenya and maybe Mozambique? In all the years since the end of colonialism, what has Africa done for itself?
If it’s not socialism, it’s Islam, dictatorships or ineptocracy like in South Africa. And now the Chinese are coming, followed by the Russians. The two most profoundly corrupt and unscrupulous nations.
It’s time for the Africans who have the will, to take charge change the future. Continue like this and there won’t be an African future. The magnificent continent and its people deserve better.
