Always bitter sweet finishing up coverage on a show. Thank you everyone who’s checked out the #AgentsofSHIELD breakdowns for the past 3 months. Been great chatting to you and I hope you had as much fun as we did. Hope to see you soon 👋🏻
Hey I have a theory about dark but I’m verry late lol so I had to comment here for you to see.Well I think they are in the same loop, because as we remember Martha and Jonas saw their future selfs (Martha thru the closet, and Jonas thru the door)while they were in a loop, but how could that be if the loop was only open much later, and what makes that Claudia especial, from other claudias, they all lived the same life...
Alternate ending: Coulson wakes up in “Tahiti” and Nick Fury informs him he has been in a coma since Loki killed him. Fade out to “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” sung by Judy Garland with a high-speed montage of everything that happened in A.O. S. 😆
I understand they couldn't include everything but they should at least have something to connect the other characters that had big roles like Sif or the other Asgardian guy, Dethlok, Bobbi and Lance, Ward and Ghost rider and of course fury and maria hill. Just a mention or easter egg would be enough. It didn't happen though and it's a shame.
Fitz and Simmons Biggest flex of all time. They literally solved everything and chilled out for a few years like the multiverse wasn’t in danger of destruction. Had a kid figure out time travel out smarted robots that can see the future. Smartest people In the mcu even more then tony or Bruce
I don't know about that. They are up there without a doubt but Tony basically solved it in the same way we'd watch a episode of something on netflix; chilling out one night after putting the kid to bed. Bruce had never worked on quantum mechanics at all and was able to basically back learn most of it in a few days from really bad second hand info. I'm pretty sure Shuri could have figured it out while also doing a sudoku.
@@SignalWardenoohh that last line you said made me laugh you bastard. Tony has an A.I thats as smart as vision..hulk had hank pime technology..plus tony tech plus bruce tec..and wakanda does have technological advances but they don't have access to hank pimes shrinking tech to accomplish it. Fitz and Simmons had a TV budget lol
@@DOESITMATTER7734 They definitely had a TV budget. They also had an A.I. though, it just had a body and his name was Enoch. Also, they didn't have Pym tech, but they had Cronicom tech which had to be a better starting point.
I think what Fitz and simmons had were experience and agent of shield's mentality that differs from other Marvel blockbuster geniuses. They've been through so much than avengers superheroes. Fitz survived being dropped into the ocean, through his PTSD and frame work while Simmons basically stranded in another planet and spying hydra. It's not just about the brain, it's about the mentality
That scene when May burst through the glass ceiling and answers Sybil's question about what was coming next..."The Calvary". Never in the series have those two words carried the impact as right then. I jumped up out of my seat and had to rewind a few times...classic for what will be an iconic show for years to come.💖🙏😻🎵🎶💖
@@heavyspoilers Funny thing is... they where actually thinking of giving Deke a fake eyepatch. It was mentioned in their interview. ruclips.net/video/xeTuiz0IVtI/видео.html
Did anybody else think the old man who brought the last piece of the tunneling device was supposed to be Fury's grandfather that worked elevators? I couldn't stop thinking about that when he popped up.
A sign of a good series closing episode is it makes you want to rewatch the entire series. I’m going to wait a little while but then start the rewatch.
I’ve literally watched it about 10 times and counting, I’m currently back on s3 rn and in s4 with a watch through I’m doing with a friend that I got into aos
I have a tradition when watching a good long tv show (that i liked): After seeing the last episode, i like to go and watch the first episode and say my goodbyes, but also see how the characters evolved over the years from that first time.
OKAY MIND BLOW THOUGHT AFTER REWATCHING ‘what we are fighting for’ When Deke said 1983 Nyc has enough power to generate the field they need to create the bubble to bring back the cronicoms to their timeline it was on that actual date August 12, 1983 when NYC had its well known blackout!!? 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 The same day the episode aired in 2020!!! Good job writers!!
wow now thats good writing. honestly i feel there were a lot of details that were cool in the last few episode but i feel they made everything as complicated as possible for the audience to just give up on trying to understand it
Alexandru Manea maybe it will now cuz with the Disney plus shows their connected heavily , so if they do a agents of sword Disney plus show we could see daisy or Mac on there
Would be cool however the timelines don't match up. Black Widow has been confirmed to be after Civil War so it takes place during 2016-2017. The AOS ending is during 2020.
Didn’t catch that Triskelion Easter egg in the final scene, that was cool. Watching this series from the very beginning makes me appreciate this finale even more, yes it had its things but that’s only because of the whole bigger MCU and the “it’s all connected “ marketing. But as it’s own thing this was a great finale. I think one of the greatest parts for me was how their future selfs were the ones in the hazmats suits and the reveal of Fitzsimmons daughter. And I’m glad the kept the quantum realm theory, but if we were to talk about timelines, FitzSimmons figured it out first!
But they had a lot of time to figure it out... unlike tony stark who figured it out with much less time... I think tony stark is still the smartest person...
@@sanketvaria9734 Cavalry. Can you believe she's in her late-50s? Hubba. I'd "cavalry" her any day of the week...probably end up with several broken bones but it'd be worth it.
Imagine being stuck in a world with absolute 0 possibility of being able to have same relation with people whom you considered your friends and for whom you abandoned your original worlds twice. The others would literally grow up infront of Deke, with no information of all the awesome adventures they had together in the other timeline
@@alexandrareid4100 Well maybe Deke will recruit them all, they havent got in shield yet, He might get Daisy since she cares for her the most, then the team will be together but Deke will be old.
IDK the whole finale lacked the tension S5 finale had. A character who's been around for like 3 episodes (Kora) gets a more eventful ending than Deke who's been around for 3 seasons, I can't say I liked it a whole lot. Deke's farewell was so rushed. Made me angry.
I loved Deke's ending but... It should have been more emotional. Hugs and a few more "please, don't". He was underrated by the team, even his own family. Mack ends up caring because he had no option left. He once asked what did he had to do to be respected. This sacrifice was 💔 🍋. I expected more drama here. Also, I would've love to hear him say his name is "Deke Fury"
Koras introduction and ending was more to do with Daisy. She never had a family and now she has a sister enjoying adventures together. Had the same role as Sousa.
Your upset that with the limited time they had they decided to spend just enough time to settle the final conflict....explain fitz return/where he was....reveal a child.....have a goodbye to the OG crew....have a moment between Coulson and daisy....then a moment for daisy alone since it all started with her....show where they all now are....tease future projects.......... Instead of spending a few more minutes on deke who came in 2 seasons ago.....and a person they know will be back in the futire?..... .......k......
@@revolcona the one thing I wished was for fitzsimmons to say something - I love you, I’m proud of you, see you later - or give him a hug or something.
@@tykross Aida definitley didn't rip him to pieces, he ain't Jiaying he can't recover from that. It's more likely that Aida just beaten the crap out of him and left him for dead
@@qifuhyue3568 It was implied Aida killed him very graphically. It was implied there is an overly complicated reason as to how he survived, a long and painful process he went through, but because he's a side character, none of the main ones cared enough to ask him, so we the audience are supposed to just roll with it 'cause reasons. That's the joke.
It’s actually quite lovely how Fitz and Simmons figured out the Quantum Realm thing independently of what’s happening in the MCU. I actually thought that Fitz had to be in the Quantum Realm all this time but when they mentioned that he was in the original timeline, if you think about it all of season 7 happened in an instant for him. The moment he disappeared in the temple he got out in the alternate universe. And if you really try to make sense of it, it’s quite a convoluted way to get rid of the Chronicoms? In both timelines? Or is the case that because of the Chronicom attack and them wanting to go back in time to save their planet, they inadvertently created the new timeline and they’re all actually the same Chronicoms as before? (Though it suggests that if Enoch got the time stream copy, then Sibyl came from this original timeline who also went back in time with the team and then went back into the original one.) Even if Sybil found out where Fitz was actually, she wouldn’t be able to get there either. She first needed FitzSimmon’s help to ‘unlock’ time travel, and unlocking the quantum realm is a whole different thing! It’s quite remarkable an achievement actually that it was humans who cracked these technologies than the Chronicoms, who are almost omniscient because of how long they live. If you’ve watched Fringe though, I absolutely had goosebumps when the 084s were all gathered. I didn’t think it was Enoch though that spread them throughout time at first-I thought it was Fitz! And it was a nice touch that Simmons had a mnemonic to remember what she was supposed to do. True enough, I would have wanted to see what happened to Deke. He was really an annoying character when he was first introduced but he really grew up on me, and he shares so much of his grandpa’s brilliance albeit he lived a very different world and thus had a different set of skills for survival. And good call on FitzSimmons having a child! 🎉 If you would remember in a previous video I mentioned that it’s confusing to think that if Fitz was trapped somewhere back in the past and that he would live through all of these because he’d go through it in real time that if they had a daughter she would be left there as well-she’d be very old in the end! Turns out though that Fitz was actually somewhere back in the past, well at least ‘past’ in season 6 and he caught up almost instantaneously with them in the last episode. In the penultimate episode I was really concerned that Simmons totally forgot Fitz and all and that it was permanent. But of course, nothing could even keep them apart-not space, not time. A memory implant couldn’t stop them even if it tried its best. And Sibyl.................I really enjoyed this season, and I felt sad about it because it’s really a compelling arc where they took great risks in advancing the story. (Too bad this really happens in TV shows’ final seasons when there are no more stakes because it’s the last one.) But it continues a long line of villains that really aren’t that...compelling. Personally I felt that the best villains are the ones who involved someone in the team-evil Fitz, Hive, Aida, Jiaying* (asterisk because she was not the biggest baddie in that season). Nathaniel Malick, even from the outset was really not a convincing villain because I thought he was way in over his head, and Sibyl really had the markings of a really compelling villain. But she’s really just one dimensional, and well it didn’t even take two kicks to knock her out. What a shame. Truth be told though I would maybe have found this season to be a lot harder to let go if Fitz was present more in the episodes, but I’m really just glad to see him before the series ends. He and Simmons really are the reasons why this whole series exists because they’re the ones who makes things happen and everyone just gets to deal with whatever’s in front of them. Well, Deke also had a hand in the fifth and sixth seasons, but really this ‘team’ revolved around Fitz-Simmons. To lose 1/2 of that duo in the whole season 7 really made me frustrated especially during the past few episodes leading up to the finale. Whether or not it ties into the MCU, I agree that maybe this is a timeline where Thanos didn’t win. In this timeline they had so many parallel technologies that exist to solve the same problems-they had the time, space, and creation stones, and FitzSimmons figured out the Quantum Realm. Stark had all his flying suits, but FitzSimmons had the LMDs which are far more advanced (well, I think). If Jarvis was next-level AI, Coulson literally is a person in a robot body who also happens to learn very fast and interface with technology intuitively. And so if the snap happened *before* this happened, it won’t make sense how they couldn’t have all bumped into each other especially with the timey wimey stuff. If the snap happened *after*, then FitzSimmons would surely have been able to help with the Quantum Realm stuff, except well if they were both snapped as well. And besides, I really enjoy the parallels with Dr. Strange looking at all possible futures, and Fitz reading from the time stream to see all possible futures. So that’s it for AoS. I’d be sad, and I hope AoSword would really happen. At this point we really don’t know much yet how the next phase would go for Marvel and Disney, but I do hope they keep at it. Cheers Deff!
I personally like to think that now that travelling between timelines are possible, maybe one day these SHIELD agents manage to travel to the MCU and become SWORD agents. Very slim chance though ;-;
This finale was absolutely amazing. I cried at the end and the part that got me was seeing them all together for the first time. The fact FitzSimmons' kid was revealed is amazing. Great video by the way!
I came in after season 6 and binged the series on Netflix. I fell in love and the only thing I was disappointed by was that there was only one season left. 10/10 show.
Do you know how rare it is to see amazing series finales ? It certainly is rare to see. I will miss this type of show. I doubt it will be a long time before we see any more of this caliber
But this is a new timeline. And new Garrett. I'm surprised they didn't wanna help him. In the Framework, Ward was recruited by Hand instead of Garett and joined SHIELD.
@@agenttriplettt4106 but even in that timeline garret was still a bit of a dick, maybe he would've had a redemption, his death felt very rushed like they wanted to tie off that loose end but I don't think the writers had a lot of time to explore that storyline so they just ended it. I liked that it was Hand that killed him (even tho we've only seen her for 5 mins on the show, I really liked her)
This ending was just fabulous. I was scared they would mess it up in a way. "Agents of SHIELD" is one of my favourite series and I really enjoyed the character's development and the wonderful story telling! I will definitely miss the team. 💝
@@webby8950 during season 6 there was a villian who could possess people. She warned the team about chasing her and if they continued there would be consequences. As a result she possessed Davis and made him kill himself by walking off the edge of a platform. The series finale was the first time his character returned since then, but as a LMD, like Coulson. So I guess the team created him after they stopped the chronicoms. Since once they returned to their original timeline it was only hours or days after he died. And they also had that additional year from their victory and the farewell scene.
@@manuelmuller1658 oh yeah I forgot that part, thanks. And aw, that's so adorable that Piper wanted Davis. She can insult him all she wants but she definitely cares about him.
I am going to miss this show, I have rewatched every episode except for season 7 during the virus. I love how they explained season 6 ending because I was confused on what’s going on. Everyone done a great job.
Thanks for all the weekly breakdowns. And thank you to everyone who stuck with this show right from the very beginning. It has been quite an emotional, quite a rewarding experience. Such a fitting finale! 🥺
All I want is Disney+ miniseries following Deke as the director. And One of Daisy, Sousa, and Kora. And one of Mack, yo-yo, Piper. And LMD Davis. And maybe one of coulson
Hey everyone here is my another and last summary of final episode of agents of shield:- Following Izel's defeat, Enoch took Fitz and Simmons away to help them build a time machine. Realizing they could, they also lived their lives together. Once they are ready, they return to Flint and Piper, and task them with guarding Fitz in a special container while Simmons leaves with the team. In the bar, the agents use the time drive to bring the Chronicoms to their timeline via the Quantum Realm. Deke volunteers to stay behind to help them; becoming the new leader of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the new timeline. Upon their return, Fitz, Simmons, Sousa, and Yo-Yo return to the Lighthouse while Coulson, May, Mack, and Daisy infiltrate the Chronicoms' ship to rescue Kora and confront Nathaniel. Coulson tricks Sibyl into sending her Chronicoms to the Lighthouse while May and Kora combine their abilities to give them empathy; ending their assault. Daisy destroys the Chronicoms' ships, killing Nathaniel as well as Sybil and Malachi. The agents rescue her and Kora revives her. Fitz and Simmons return to the container and their daughter, Alya. One year later, the team gather to reminisce about their time together. Fitz and Simmons retire to raise Alya while May takes a teaching position at Coulson Academy. Mack continues to lead S.H.I.E.L.D., with Yo-Yo as one of his top agents. Daisy explores the cosmos with Sousa and Kora while Coulson travels the world. Please guys if you like my summary then please like and comment.
@Amadeus _03 I have only mentioned about main and important things and that's what a summary called. Well sorry for not including milachi but according to me he is not so important in that episode.
"The guy living his best life in the worst timeline." - Preach, my man. I wish the latter wasn't the case, but that's about as honest and straightforward as it gets.
Agents of Shield is still my favorite Marvel show and I thought it received a great ending. I definitely got a little emotional during the final scene and hope some of these characters make their way into the MCU. Clark Gregg was amazing throughout the entire series.
8:27 Garrett didn't shoot Agent Hand in Season 1 Episode 17, it was Grant Ward. Garrett was in handcuffs and Hand gave Ward the chance to execute him...not knowing he was also HYDRA.
I'm conflicted. Its definitely an amazing ending. I just wanted it to be in the Main MCU. I honestly think since Season 1 we've been in an alternate universe/timeline. Where certain events occurred and others did not, hence no sign of a snap. I do want to see Daisy in the MCU proper still.
Oh thats actually interesting. So some things like the Battle of New York, Hydra taking over Shield and the Sokovia Accords all happened in both the MCU and the AOS timelines but I think that they are actually in the MCU timeline within the last few minutes of the show’s finale. I definitely believe that could be possible
Fury revived Coulson & Coulson also helped out with the Helicarrier in AOU, I agree that the movies (besides Multiverse of madness) or the new shows should acknowledge AOS.
i heard they didn’t do the snap because they had no idea it was going to happen. like the mcu people didn’t tell them about it, so it’s not their fault
The lighthouse can't be destroyed from space because it was specifically designed and built to withstand any outside attacks even nuclear, biological and alien. It was meant to allow a select number of shield personnel to survive an extinction level event.
I like to think they returned to the original timeline but AFTER the blip (2023) so that the reason why the world still looks like it's in good shape is because one year later (2024) when they all meet at the bar, the world has pretty much gone back to normal again.
It is very much possible that the Snap did happen in this timeline but the core group of Fitz Simmons Mack Yo-Yo Daisy May Coulson(he was still alive at the time of the Snap) and Piper were just among those who were not snapped away I do remember May and Coulson alluding to the Snap in an episode around the time of the snap. In the case with the Lola 2 key is also Coulson's Off Switch
I loved the finale and the video was great. So sad to say to "the D" goodbye. Still very confused about the ending regarding how they came back but I'm glad with the ending even if it left me super confused. WE WERE RIGHT ABOUT THE DAUGHTER (YAAAAAAY). Hope Daisy either gets her own spin off or join into the MCU somehow
I've loved this show since the beginning and have even collected each season for my Marvel collection. I believe this series finale was one of the bests I've seen in any series. I certainly hope we see some of the characters incorporated into the future of the MCU, whenever that happens.
I was actually a lot more sad than I thought I'd be, to be honest. I guess that's what happens when you watch every episode whenever it came out for like, 7 years,
What a GREAT SHOW!! Who would have ever guessed that Coulson would evolve into the character at the Hub of SHIELD? Would have liked to see Deke at the end to see how that played out. Also, why was Fitz primarily absent in Season 7? Was there an issue with Ian?
Thank you for an outstanding video! It's kinda of sad saying goodbye to a great show, but I am grateful the studio gave us a swan song. I believe goodbyes in the MCU doesn't mean forever, we will see some of those characters again.
But we see Professor Hulk in a restaurant and everything is vibrant and sunshine... not every single place on earth is like dead after the snap... Earth is not that small lmao
@@heavyspoilers probably cause the population lost in New York is higher compare to other place.. some places might not be affected cause they might lost like 1 or 2 people cause the snap is random.
Did anyone else notice that those Chronicom ships were Vulcan Cruisers from Star Trek Enterprise with the Power Orb of an Ori Mothership from Stargate Sg-1? This ending was awesome IMO.
I just watched the series again. I still don’t understand why we didn’t have 2 Yo-yos, and 2 Macks, 2 Mays, 2 Coulsons, and 2 Daisys in the end. Other than that, love the series.
I actualy think that the 1 year gap we see in seaoson 6 is actualy 5 years. This has happened before in spiderman homecoming when they showed 8 years while they where really 4. This would explain why non of them bliped away. This would also make more possible that the agents appear in other marvel proyects, because if season 6 was 5 years later it would be 2023, plus the one year from season 7 leaves the agents in 2024 (MCU present date, where spiderman FFH takes place) And for the ones who say this is impossible because Davis mentions the date or something like that, marvel could just fix that mistake, and this dosent mean Quake, Jemma, Piper and davis spend 5 years in space, it could just mean they have been looking for fitz for one year and that they didnt loked for him before due to the sadness, depression, little agents left or any other reason.
I think there's 3 timelines, the original MCU were the show started, the one they came back from the future (bringing Deke to 'the present') and the new one they created in 7x01. I don't know if their "original" timeline is the first of the second one. I like to believe they're back in the MCU. I think the biggest issue here is the fact Coulson forgot SHIELD was supposed to be a secret and a small team of people. He's traveling the world and isn't even using sunglasses. Anyone can see the dead man walking with the logo of a "terrorist" organization. That's weird. The show was based in a Buffy episode, and no one should have known Buffy was the slayer. Not even her mom. Keeping it secret was the essence of the show. It's really sad they didn't keep that in AoS. I mean, the argument of the show is about " a remarkable group of smart but insecure people, ignored by the Avengers and public opinion, lead by Coulson, that learns to believe in themselves and become a be a family". They were supposed to be ignored by the MCU. It will always be canon to me. No matter what. But yeah, they could have done it better, be apart of the movie plots but still being evidently in the same universe. They were supposed to be secret. The movie characters never noticed Hydra was infiltrated for almost 50 years!! In that scenario it's totally possible the Avengers never knew these agents exist. I'll miss them. Marvel Studios needs to do short films again. I would love to see Deke's life as the director or Sousa using an ATM.
@10:48 when the last agents look to Zeke, it gave me mega John Connor vibes. Especially with all the time-traveling and how they had Terminator-esque music when the Chronicroms would come out sometimes. He becomes the leader of the survivors who fought the machines to save the future.
@@charleslee8313 Funny enough, it should be the current year. The Wiki page says Fitzsimmons remained in space until 2023 wich, curious enough, also happens to be the year Endgame takes place. They traveled back to the end of S6 in 2019 to trigger the chain of events that lead to S7 with the team in the past, with only a couple of minutes transcurring back in the present. The epilogue takes place a year after that, so by the end, it should be the year 2020.
I thought they'd done a great job wrapping the series up at the end of season 5 but they persisted. I didnt like season 6, hated "Sarge" etc. however, after a rocky start, season 7 turned good and fun and redeemed the previous season overall. lovely ending, thank you for your analysis!
Im satisfied with the final episode and the ending! I don't care if this isn't connected with the MCU,and I don't care if these great characters wont be incorporated in the MCU in the near future . The show standed great on its own and im fine with that! Great season but this is only my second or third best season. Season 4 still takes the cake for me!
It may not be connected to the MCU but I think the events in the MCU have greatly affected the AOS timeline. When 2014 thanos travelled to the MCU timeline in endgame, a new timeline was created where the snap never happened. This new timeline can be the AOS timeline.
On SWORD, Zephyr-3 (Daisy's ship) is covered in SHIELD logos and at Coulson Academy, there is a special SHIELD Ambassador Logo that has a daisy on the SHIELD logo. There isn't a SWORD logo in sight. SWORD might happen, but it will all happen on Marvel Studios dime.
You know, asied what kevin Fige said. He and the Russo could have done a LITTLE EXTRA SCENE of end game only to AoS final where Coulson could have see stark´s funeral at distance. In a way, not only the Lola Scene would have not only been the most charge up scene but also the conection with the MCU but... I don't know why Fige and his team left the series behind. I mean, the could have an interesting conection between the two medias if they swear not to spoiler anything
Thanks for the great recap. Though I get that it's a huge task, I would certainly watch a full series recap at some point. I've watched a few of your videos over the last year or so. Not sure why I never subscribed, but today I finally did. Thanks for all that you do.
@@thedarkknight6348 well there's 2 blink and you'll miss it comments. One about losing half the crew at one of the planets they stopped at (B/w Jemma and Daisy). And another where Daisy is back at HQ catching up with Mack. And Mack says. " where you've been the last five years.." The travels of Jemma and Daisy only took one year in space due to relativity (implying they were moving near light speed on Z1) but took five years of Earth time. This would be one year after that so it's actually happening after Spider-Man Far From Home.
Bacially, S5 was supposed to be the ending of AoS, finishing its tie-in with the MCU, but then series renewal happened. But yeah, in S7 ending, they went back to the SHIELD'S OG timeline (that's already considered as alternate since S5 because there was no Thanos snap happened) The timeline that they were in right in the ending doesn't really tie-in with the MCU anymore, but it's considered as the show's main timeline, but the past year periods that they visited along S7 is MCU material with lots of reference to the movies and its characters and the Agent Carter series, it's just that they were altered because of the chroms.
Such a fantastic series wrap amid so many done so meh. Was super hopeful for a Nick Fury tie-in that would mirror the S1 finale, but I’ll reserve that hope for the follow-up series. **fingers crossed**
Deke's mother was born at the Lighthouse and the timeline was so different that the odds of that daughter being Alya are likely nonexistent. The odds are even smaller that Alya will meet Deke's father even if she is Deke's mother and not his aunt. He was either born at the Lighthouse or brought there as a child from River's End. Given the vastly different circumstances and Simmons expressing a desire to get away from the Lighthouse it's likely they are not raising Alya there. And even if they were, the odds of things playing out similarly enough are next to nothing. So it's safe to say Deke will never be born. The only chance I see is if time in the MCU is predetermined to a degree, so while still mutable it will push in only one direction. Then fate could make Alya a genetic copy of Deke's mum despite being born at a different time, and it could force her to meet and fall in love with his father, but we've seen no evidence of this.
13:52 i disagree. Sybil wasn't a fighter and we saw her hubris early on. too be fair, she also rebuilt herself from just data so that's a pretty good fight if you ask me.
I know that in the D line or Deke's timeline Hand will find Ward and he will grow to the great man we saw in the framework and not the monster that Garrett made him Also I kinda feel bad for young Garrett bc I think he could have changed Also also Simmons said she would give anything to Piper she wanted then I think it was YoYo who said jokingly that she regretted her gift so what she wanted was Davis which is so sweet
Mack on the helicarrier. Was great. Deke is living a life better than where he was in his future watchin over his buddy little mac. We knew fitz n simmons would have the baby but didnt know how much time they were gone. Looked about 6 years.
wow!! what a wonderful tv show!! Every single episode was just amazing! I've never got bored! I hope we're going to see them back in the MCU phase 4...
Fitz doesnt really feel like a part of the show anymore. He just hasn't really been apart of the team, his payoff didn't really justify all the buildup imo.
They had to align the plot with Iain's (Fitz' Actor) busy schedule. We were lucky enough we get to see him in at least 3 episodes. But then again, Fitz had to sacrifice his engagement with the team and with Jemma as well (after living a life with her for a while and having a kid) to help the team in the long run from the other side. They had to make his appearance crucial to the plot and it worked perfectly.
Hey everyone here is my short summary of episode 12 agents of shield:- Upon landing on the Chronicom ship, Daisy searches for Deke and Simmons while Sousa and Mack fend off a group of Chronicom soldiers. Sibyl plans for Daisy to find Simmons to jog her memory, but an impatient Nathaniel has Kora confront them. Daisy manages to talk her down, forcing Nathaniel to knock Kora out and have her powers transferred to him. The agents return to the Zephyr and escape the ship. With the Lighthouse the only S.H.I.E.L.D. base still standing, Garrett plants bombs to destroy it, but Coulson, Yo-Yo, and May capture him and neutralize his powers. When they force Garrett to stop the explosion, Nathaniel leaves Garrett to die, but they all manage to survive. Garrett decides to join the agents and teleport them to the bar, only for him to be killed by other agents who arrived there to hide. Everyone regroups and, with Simmons' help, create a "key" that she was struggling to remember. The key opens a portal that brings Fitz to them, but he is disappointed to learn Simmons does not remember him.
Two things. 1) Grant Ward is actually the person who shot Victoria Hand in the original timeline of Season 1 while Garrett watched. 2) The Chronicom ship corridors actually reminded me more of the tunnels under X-Mansion in the original X-Men movies.
Always bitter sweet finishing up coverage on a show. Thank you everyone who’s checked out the #AgentsofSHIELD breakdowns for the past 3 months. Been great chatting to you and I hope you had as much fun as we did. Hope to see you soon 👋🏻
What's the probability Agents of S.W.O.R.D. coming to Disney+?
“Mac Fury”! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The fact that there was no "We will return in a moment" at the end of the episode hit me way harder than I thought it would.
same.
💔💔
💔
that was the moment i realized... "oh no... is really is over!" 😲😲😲😭
True dat....end of an era.
Fitz and Simmons Biggest flex of all time. They literally solved everything and chilled out for a few years like the multiverse wasn’t in danger of destruction. Had a kid figure out time travel out smarted robots that can see the future. Smartest people
In the mcu even more then tony or Bruce
YEEEESSSSSSS
It's not just about the brain, it's about the mentality
them not showing us Deke"s 1 year later kinda pissed me off.
Well technically, he lived in the past in an entirely different timeline. So a year later really makes no sense
@@noha3875 i meant more of just wrapping it all up.
I agree! I have a feeling they're saving that for future "special features" on either blu-ray, or Disney +. (I hope!)
Up for my favorite show finale on par with breaking bad.
Deke kinda got the short stick this entire season
That scene when May burst through the glass ceiling and answers Sybil's question about what was coming next..."The Calvary".
Never in the series have those two words carried the impact as right then. I jumped up out of my seat and had to rewind a few times...classic for what will be an iconic show for years to come.💖🙏😻🎵🎶💖
I wish they kept in the scene where we get to see Deke's Epilouge. He basically became the white Nick Fury.
Me too, would’ve loved to have see that confirmed
Damn it fits
@@heavyspoilers Funny thing is... they where actually thinking of giving Deke a fake eyepatch.
It was mentioned in their interview. ruclips.net/video/xeTuiz0IVtI/видео.html
It would be even better if there was a tag at the end of the episode of Deke singing with his band for all the shield agents.
They never made it.
Did anybody else think the old man who brought the last piece of the tunneling device was supposed to be Fury's grandfather that worked elevators? I couldn't stop thinking about that when he popped up.
You're not the only one. 😉
Yooo that would be so cool
yeh, me too 🙂
I was thinking hes gotta be someone, thats a very known actor they got fo the role.
I laughed that they didn't reveal it. Pointless
A sign of a good series closing episode is it makes you want to rewatch the entire series. I’m going to wait a little while but then start the rewatch.
Yep as soon as I finished it I was like to my girlfriend "when are we watching season 1?"
I’ve literally watched it about 10 times and counting, I’m currently back on s3 rn and in s4 with a watch through I’m doing with a friend that I got into aos
i play it on repeat,it has become a comfort show now.
Agreed.
I have a tradition when watching a good long tv show (that i liked): After seeing the last episode, i like to go and watch the first episode and say my goodbyes, but also see how the characters evolved over the years from that first time.
I'm Ready for Agents of S.W.O.R.D
Fingers crosses we get it
I need chole Bennet’s daisy in the actually mcu , showing that her universe is connected and still on going
Hopefully when sword is introduced in the mcu they mention daisy in space
AlphaBoi Games me too
@@kayliguerrero8839 lets hope by than choe bennet will still want to play daisy. It would suck if they had to re cast her character.
OKAY MIND BLOW THOUGHT AFTER REWATCHING ‘what we are fighting for’
When Deke said 1983 Nyc has enough power to generate the field they need to create the bubble to bring back the cronicoms to their timeline it was on that actual date August 12, 1983 when NYC had its well known blackout!!? 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
The same day the episode aired in 2020!!! Good job writers!!
wooooow
wow now thats good writing. honestly i feel there were a lot of details that were cool in the last few episode but i feel they made everything as complicated as possible for the audience to just give up on trying to understand it
Honestly this whole season was amazing!
OMFG the last episode was aired on 12th august holyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
I can’t believe that, that’s amazing
How cool would it be if Mack makes a cameo in the black widow movie. Something about him mentioning having to take care of something in Moscow
The Black Widow story takes place in the past. In current time, if it were connected, she'd already be dead.
I thought the exact same thing when he mentioned Moscow!!
Alexandru Manea maybe it will now cuz with the Disney plus shows their connected heavily , so if they do a agents of sword Disney plus show we could see daisy or Mac on there
I was thinking a Bobbi and Hunter pardon from the Russians
Would be cool however the timelines don't match up. Black Widow has been confirmed to be after Civil War so it takes place during 2016-2017. The AOS ending is during 2020.
No cap this was the best finale of any show I have watched in recent memory
But stark had friday
And his ai had all the already known knowledge unlike fitzsimmons who had to figure it out in space
but in another time branch :D
ramanibai johnrajan that is true
And what comes next?
*Loud noises
The Cavalry.
I know I wasn’t the only one who got jacked up over that.
Coulson and May were brutal! If ya can't fk each other, a good fight team-up is always an option
The best bit of quite a disappointing finale. Best season overall though.
That was my favourite moment.
@@sanketvaria9734 Cavalry.

Imagine being stuck in a world with absolute 0 possibility of being able to have same relation with people whom you considered your friends and for whom you abandoned your original worlds twice. The others would literally grow up infront of Deke, with no information of all the awesome adventures they had together in the other timeline
Except Daisy because Jaiying died
@@alexandrareid4100 Yeah yeah true
He probably became a father figure to young Mac
@@BigBadBruinsMac I think that’s exactly what happened!
@@revolcona I think the ending is very fitting for the character indeed, I just thought it was handled really poorly.
They missed one thing. We never got to hear Davis' crazy story and how he got the scar. They owe us at least a One Shot of it.
G Higgs nah that the whole joke thing.
I thought that would be something important or dangerous u.u hahaha
We know the how. Aida ripped him in pieces in S4. The mystery/joke is not how he got the scar, but how he survided with ONLY a scar.
It was fun while it lasted, it exceeded expectations I had for this series when it first started
It definitely did for most people who stayed, because the others dropped just right after S1 or S2 and didn't give the show a chance, their loss.
(Though it suggests that if Enoch got the time stream copy, then Sibyl came from this original timeline who also went back in time with the team and then went back into the original one.)
Even if Sybil found out where Fitz was actually, she wouldn’t be able to get there either.
Well AOS is not in the MCU... but the Quantum Realm connects all realities
@@jthomas6672 Yeah definitely not in the MCU proper agreed. AOS works as a 'What IF' tale.... or 'Elseworlds'

Garret orders Ward to shoot Hand, he didn't do it himself.
But it's more poetic that Hand killed Garret in the new timeline.
I liked that it was Hand that killed him (even tho we've only seen her for 5 mins on the show, I really liked her)
Coulson wasn't turning into an inhuman in that episode while wielding the obelisk it was killing him
This ending was just fabulous. I was scared they would mess it up in a way. "Agents of SHIELD" is one of my favourite series and I really enjoyed the character's development and the wonderful story telling! I will definitely miss the team. 💝
The scene that surprisingly gave me a good smile was seeing Agent Davis return, of course as a machine. I really enjoyed the finale.

Hey everyone here is my another and last summary of final episode of agents of shield:-
Following Izel's defeat, Enoch took Fitz and Simmons away to help them build a time machine.

Garrett didn't shoot Agent Hand in Season 1 Episode 17, it was Grant Ward.
My headcanon is that season 1-4 are mcu canon but once time travel started getting involved they ended up in another timeline
The whole series is canon.
I’m going to have to rewatch the whole series again. I missed Way too much stuff
There has to be a Deke Shaw Series! 😆

That thing Mack used when he was w/ Souza, that's the same thing Ward used to save FitzSimmons, 'Skye', and Co. in season 1, episode 2

Honestly at this point agents of shield is an alternate timeline and Coulson died in Avengers
Thanks tips. So glad you joined us today on the heavy spoilers edition of heavy spoilers
I would love to see Deke's life as the director or Sousa using an ATM.
revolcona exactly. These people are all like, “oH, bEcAuSe Of WhAt HaPpEnEd, ThE wHoLe ShOw iS nOn CaNoN
@10:48 when the last agents look to Zeke, it gave me mega John Connor vibes. Especially with all the time-traveling and how they had Terminator-esque music when the Chronicroms would come out sometimes. He becomes the leader of the survivors who fought the machines to save the future.
Maybe it's during the five years between the two snaps, just before the Avengers attempt the "time heist".
Chronologially the series ending happens about 3 years into the 5 year gap. Assuming they're still in the same timeline as the movies, that is.
@@tykross Thank you! I was trying to do the math in my head. It had to be 2021 or 2022, from that final scene of the series.
Lmds, ghost rider and the frame work. I know right
It may not be connected to the MCU but I think the events in the MCU have greatly affected the AOS timeline. When 2014 thanos travelled to the MCU timeline in endgame, a new timeline was created where the snap never happened. This new timeline can be the AOS timeline.
Agents of Hydra may be one of the best seasons/half-seasons in TV history. It felt soooo real
I believe that the ending was both set in the main MCU timeline and set after Endgame
Endgame - 2023 AoS - 2019-2020
The "One year later" means 2020 since AoS S6's timeline was 2019 and we saw them travelled back in that time.
SNAP never happened in AOS, so AOS isn't in the MCU!
@@Knightfall182 Ur arguement is a for typical Kevin Feige Fanbois.
@@xiaolonglee2525 Nope. It's for anyone with common sense and a brain, who isn't crying over AOS.
@@Knightfall182 Just like how Kevin Feige fanbois cried when RDJ didn't get/nominated for best actor?
You know, asied what kevin Fige said. He and the Russo could have done a LITTLE EXTRA SCENE of end game only to AoS final where Coulson could have see stark´s funeral at distance.
In a way, not only the Lola Scene would have not only been the most charge up scene but also the conection with the MCU but...
I don't know why Fige and his team left the series behind. I mean, the could have an interesting conection between the two medias if they swear not to spoiler anything
To me he was there overlooking the funeral trough a cloked lola
I was expecting sibyl would fight Coulson and may while riding a giant mech
Thanks for the great recap.
Though I get that it's a huge task, I would certainly watch a full series recap at some point.
I've watched a few of your videos over the last year or so. Not sure why I never subscribed, but today I finally did.
Thanks for all that you do.
I’m really confused as to what year it is when they return to the main timeline and if it’s even in the mcu
Probably after the snap sometime
@@thedarkknight6348 well there's 2 blink and you'll miss it comments. One about losing half the crew at one of the planets they stopped at (B/w Jemma and Daisy).
And another where Daisy is back at HQ catching up with Mack. And Mack says. " where you've been the last five years.."
The travels of Jemma and Daisy only took one year in space due to relativity (implying they were moving near light speed on Z1) but took five years of Earth time. This would be one year after that so it's actually happening after Spider-Man Far From Home.
Daisy and Souza are absolutely reporting to Fury now.
But I'm not sure if it's the MCU because outside those 2 comments after S5 no MCU acknowledged.
Bacially, S5 was supposed to be the ending of AoS, finishing its tie-in with the MCU, but then series renewal happened. But yeah, in S7 ending, they went back to the SHIELD'S OG timeline (that's already considered as alternate since S5 because there was no Thanos snap happened)
The timeline that they were in right in the ending doesn't really tie-in with the MCU anymore, but it's considered as the show's main timeline, but the past year periods that they visited along S7 is MCU material with lots of reference to the movies and its characters and the Agent Carter series, it's just that they were altered because of the chroms.
AOS isn't in the MCU.. SNAP never happened. The last scene took place in 2019 of the AOS timeline
Such a fantastic series wrap amid so many done so meh. Was super hopeful for a Nick Fury tie-in that would mirror the S1 finale, but I’ll reserve that hope for the follow-up series. **fingers crossed**
Wait! You didn’t mention the teaser for next week.... 😢
😢😢😢😢 still not over it
Deke's mother was born at the Lighthouse and the timeline was so different that the odds of that daughter being Alya are likely nonexistent.
It was a great finale. I couldn't guess any of it.
13:52 i disagree. Sybil wasn't a fighter and we saw her hubris early on. too be fair, she also rebuilt herself from just data so that's a pretty good fight if you ask me.
I know that in the D line or Deke's timeline Hand will find Ward and he will grow to the great man we saw in the framework and not the monster that Garrett made him
Also I kinda feel bad for young Garrett bc I think he could have changed
Also also Simmons said she would give anything to Piper she wanted then I think it was YoYo who said jokingly that she regretted her gift so what she wanted was Davis which is so sweet
I was crying at the end , best show ever , I'm going to miss it a lot 😢 💔
Maybe we will see a Deke cameo in the upcoming Dr. Strange... They owe us that.
You don't actually see Yo-Yo die. She just bails out of the speeding car she's in and goes super-sonic on her mission.
You did a great job rounding up the season.
Oh my god! Please tell me everyone agents of shield is not done.
Maybe I am in another reality in the original timeline agents of shield is going on!!
Watching many tv shows and season finales this really did the show and characters justice.
Hey everyone here is my short summary of episode 12 agents of shield:-
Upon landing on the Chronicom ship, Daisy searches for Deke and Simmons while Sousa and Mack fend off a group of Chronicom soldiers.
Love it, well done
@@23yits6 thanks!
Great summaries, love it.
@@starviper1646 thanks
Two things. 1) Grant Ward is actually the person who shot Victoria Hand in the original timeline of Season 1 while Garrett watched. 2) The Chronicom ship corridors actually reminded me more of the tunnels under X-Mansion in the original X-Men movies.
I thought it ended post endgame in that timeline
Nice wrap-up, thanks. I'm very sad that the series ended. Liked it very much.
I won't lie, I wanted to see Coulson become human again.
Also, want more Quake.
