The reason I stopped playing along with my friends cus the game felt kid like hated the art started as a halo look alike armor and everything logged on like a year ago saw a lion skin or some shii logged straight out when will devs understand we just want a griddy game that represents old cod or old halo tired of bright colorful ass games that feel and look like shit it’s sad game was fun just couldn’t stand looking at it felt like halo infinite 💀

What annoys me most about Splitgate is simply these ridiculous skins.
The skins look cool tho.
@@marquintabell5307 I think they're ridiculous and childish.
But to each his own. Overall, it's mostly children who play video games and they just like colourful skins. It is what it is.
When I think back to my childhood, we thought Matrix, Doom, Splinter Cell, Blade, Batman, Tenchu etc. were cool
Mostly serious games/films.

@@marquintabell5307 The joke is that it doesn't matter what I wear because it's a first-person shooter. But I can't control what the others wear... that's what I see all the time. It sets the whole tone of the game. It's not that dramatic. I would never ask for that to be changed. If others like it, that's fine. But it bothers me so much that I don't play despite the very good gameplay.
It's the same with Warzone etc.

Smoke and mirrors. Literally nobody makes any content about this game, aside from a few people on Discord no one even talks about it and barely anyone plays it. This video feels like it's from another reality.
EDIT: fucking lol, just checked these alleged "Splitgate content creators". 2 of them I couldn't even find after a few minutes of searching. The rest have views so low they're literally in double digits, aside from one guy that sometimes breaks the 1000 barrier... the last video he made on Splitgate was 9 months ago.
this is a celebration of the community that splitgate fostered. splitgate got a few initial boosts from game journalism, jake lucky specifically, but most of the content creation came from pro players, like kusch, who was also t250 in call of duty at the time, and now focuses on that. the game had its audience. you just don't belong here if you don't care about that audience.
@@ashleycrumpler535 a celebration of a dead game that includes "best content creator" category with people that no one watches and don't even play Splitgate anymore is just so ironic. The whole thing feels so weird, it was probably made for investors or smth.
@@MrMadXenomorph it's made because splitgate 2 is deep enough in development to start teasing, and giving splitgate 1 its 'finale'. it's not that deep.
