- Ever wondered what happens at a spearfishing competition? This episode we head to the Eden three way state championships. We love diving in Eden, it has such a healthy fishery with an endless choice of yummy seafood.
We freeze our butts off in a cold dirty lake before heading to the ocean to find some epic diving conditions. We are treated with crystal clear water and you can quickly see why we call this the barrier reef of the south.
We shoot some delicious southern species and cook them up in a quick and easy Thai Green Curry recipe.

So glad I found this channel. Lived in Kiah (up the road from Eden) as a teenager, still have family there and in Eden. We used to dive North Head often. Also loved the once deep holes on the Towamba River. Those were the days...

Brilliant guys! Some tasty drone work in there too. Next time you’re in ‘cold’ water throw some wetsuit shorts on over your suit, stops absolutely any water entering the suit around the jacket. I noticed a massive difference with and without them in Norway. That along with three finger mittens and you’ll be toasty 👌

Hi guys that was a great video to watch we use to go to Eden every Easter did that trip for 12 years straight last trip was 2012 then that year in june my son of nine years old passed away and no more Eden thanks guys cheers

Its super easy and you don't need anything fresh really, can just do the curry and coconut milk. Maybe some canned veg or bamboo shoots if you want to get some vitamins haha.

Great video. I love a green curry, my friend got me onto "Jimmy's" satay sauce, comes in a jar about $10 from an Asian grocer good for half a dozen or so meals, it is so incredibly delicious if you find it have a crack, just need a can of coconut milk and some fish or other meat, dang diddley it's good

Yazbeck carbon gloves are amazing. I wear a 3mm in 50 F in California winter with no problem. Not the most durable but dexterity is great. No problems staying warm either. I know you guys don't run into water like that much but they are so thin you can wear them year round. Great video!

BurninatorTheTrogdor Only up the top of Aus you'd get away with a 1.5. 3mm is the norm. Plenty if Kings and dogs swimming around, really great place to fish! Cheers.

I was at the comp the water was amazing out the front it was probs my 6 comp I only got one species I was the sub junior runner up but I'm coming back next time

Sure was mate, unfortunately between diving and a full time job it doesn't leave much time for editing. Hopefully one day we will able to get these out a lot quicker.

Never have seen someone putting their wetsuit on with corn flour lol
We used to use talcum powder but cornflour does the same job and is half the price! Probably better to breathe in also...

That's how I do it and everyone i know who also dives. Was really surprised by your method because I have never seen it before :-)
