I advise everyone to take heed to his lectures, just listen and learn, believe or not, just listen with your baseerah (insight) and your inner sight...
I just started to listen his lectures. I am confused and unable to understand anything. Where should I start to hear him so that my doubts get clear? Can you please help me?
Sheik, quite correct about 'cosmetic Islam'. It doesn't matter whether you are Christian, Muslim or Jew merely peforming the mechanical ablutions doesn't make one a believer. Furthermore, when religion is subsumbed into the idols of the tribes it loses its potency. As Tolstoy affirms 'The Kingdom of God is within you'.
im beginning to see the relevance of the hadith, "...if we have land, hold on to our lands...." It is so obvious for us living in cities like Singapore, once land is taken over by the govenment, our freedom is lost. Our forefathers have sold this land to the British and now, houses cost a fortune and we are forced to pay loans and interests whch includes riba'..

@lSLAAM @downtownskipper @shebzydon I'm working on it too brothers. If you try to ask sheikh imran by email he only replies very briefly because he's quite busy with other things. There are many villages in Java, Indonesia that are majority muslim and there are many agencies that provide dinar and dirham (sunnah money) over there. If you have a skill that you can use to establish a market producing your own resources such as food, electricity, etc then try to do so and share it to others.
@ExileKhaan SOME scholars are and even they try thier best . But certain scholars know about this subject just as sheikh Imran knows. They only keep quite because most of us can't handle this. Alhamdulillah sheikh Imran has come out with it plain and simple and soon other scholars WILL follow suite.

At 0:43:00 Sheikh Imran Hussain said, "if only we can have this kind of strategic thinking today" Given that this peace treaty was signed by Rasool-e-Allah (SAW) and even at His time the most wisest and righteous of people like Umar-Ibn-Al-Khattab (RA) questioned that. A very brief answer to your question would be that there is actually no thinking involved.The sheikh emphasises on the Hadith of Rum. Given these Hadiths, the Prophet (PBUH) has already told us what to do, so there is no individual intuition involved. We have been given guidlines to follow through past scenarios and hadiths. Hoped this helps insha'ALLAH.
