Thanks you Crufts - for running this channel, every year I tune into Crufts from New Zealand, the whole event is fantastic to watch, however it's FLYBALL that tops the lot. Epic.
I love seeing all those pups have a good time . Especially the small dogs that seem to float over the hurdles like in the short video that appeared on my feed . That happy look on his face was priceless 😂

All the Tails We Win dogs appear to be lurchers and that might explain why they do so well. Lurchers are usually crossbreeds between a light-bodied sighthound (greyhound or whippet) and a herding or sporting breed such as a collie or retriever which is specifically bred to be intelligent and obedient. Lurchers have often been used to catch rabbits. Obedience plus speed equals good flyball dog
I doubt that they'd want to use purebred Belgian Mallinois for flyball. My guess is that these dogs are far more likely to be lurchers, a cross between a herding or sporting breed such as the Belgian Mallinois and a whippet. I'd think that a purebred Belgian Mallinois would be a bit too big and too heavy to make an ideal flyball dog because speed is the primary factor in winning. Obedience is important and the Belgian Mallinois certainly is good for that but for flyball, a smaller and faster dog is better.

Watching from California ❤
I usually watch agility and I forgot how energetic flyball can be. It's great to see them prepare for the run.

Good luck teams❤
It’s how much the dogs care about their owners that win the race.
Thing about flyball. its ordinary people training these athletes. I admire their relationship with their Dogs.
