    Thank you for this video. As someone who suffers frim extreme worry and fear. Experiencing vertigo on top of that is very challenging. Mine happened during the night and now i know what to do if it happens again. ❤

    I’ve never heard of this before, now all of a sudden, it’s all over the internet. Calcium crystals…..could this possibly be a result of too much electronics…wireless earbuds or charging devices too close or are these just springing up out of nowhere?

    • @thedizzybusypt
      @thedizzybusypt  20 дней назад +2

      @@swhite3883 Great question! I remember from about 2000 to 2010, it seemed like no one knew we had crystals in our inner ears or that they could become misplaced. Now, it seems like the "crystal" pendulum is swinging the other way. We do need to be careful we don't blame too much on these amazing little crystals. With that said, the crystals are surrounded by bone in our inner ears. I have not heard of an electronics cause link. I personally doubt it because I saw just as many people from 2000-2010 as I do now. Here is a link to a video I made on potential causes: Tired of Recurring Vertigo? Understanding Otoconia (Inner Ear Crystals) & BPPV Prevention

    • @thedizzybusypt
      @thedizzybusypt  Месяц назад +1

      Thank you for reaching out. It depends on the cause of why you still feel off-balance. A few things to discuss with your healthcare provider include whether or not you have triggered feelings of dizziness at this point. For instance, are you getting dizzy when you lay down, roll over, bend over, or tilt your head back? If so, and you hold perfectly still how long does the intense part last? If possible, take a video of your eyes if you are continuing to have intense attacks and show that to your healthcare provider. Does that make sense?

      It kind of makes sense to move that way, but I have a reasonable number of patients who panic and jerk out of bed which leads to nausea, vomiting, and sometimes even falling. I'm glad you figured out the right thing to do, and hopefully you found help!

    It happened to me very first time 3 months ago when i was suffering with flu and fever and one night my head starts spinning while i was lying on bed and i got panic and rush to my family members to help me but when my mom let me stand up slowly i felt better but when i try to lay on my bed again it spins again very terribly then i realised its only happened when i lay on bed and try to turn my body on my right side if i sleep on my left nothing happens and next morning i went to work nothing happened whole day after work i came back i did eat spend time with family and went to bed and i realised when i tried to turn around on the right side it spins slowly but if i sleep on my left it didn't spin and i did sleep peacefully since that time until 5 jan 2025 never spins again but on 5 jan 2025 night it happened again and today 7 jan 2025 i mean its my 3rd night with spinning
    But last time when it happened very first time it was only last for 2 nights
    Does it make sense?

      That completely aligns with what many of my patients with BPPV experience. It can indeed be terrifying! While I can't offer medical advice directly, I strongly recommend discussing your symptoms with your healthcare provider. They should be able to identify the issue and provide appropriate treatment swiftly.

    It happened to me this morning, but I know now to stay completely still until it stops. Then I very very slowly move myself onto my side just like you have demonstrated. It still gives me a very upset stomach but I can usually avoid vomiting! An antihistimine and the Epley manoevre have done the trick for me, it's gone for now. Worst thing ever.

    That’s me exactly, but even sometimes when I lay in bed watching tv I won’t get the real bad rollover spins just a feeling like it wants to start, does that make sense? Can this last forever or is a temporary thing? Bending over doesn’t make me dizzy, just seems laying is the worst🤷‍♀️ p.s…..I have learned to really pay attention to my movements that’s for sure…it’s such a scary/ disturbing feeling to go full on dizzy…🤦‍♀️

    • @thedizzybusypt
      @thedizzybusypt  29 дней назад

      @@Catlady12341 That makes perfect sense! I see it all of the time. We call the feeling like it wants to start a "pre-spin" sensation. It is usually a temporary thing that goes away within a few days after the spinning goes away. Everyone is a little different and can have it last different lengths. Having this problem causes the unconscious to become conscious in many of us which makes us pay attention to our movements more. We start to sense normal sway as abnormal. These are often all normal sensations that go away with time. Some individuals have it last a little longer, but I will talk about that later. I think you have given me a good topic for my next video!👍💪

    I believe i know how i got my BPPV. I wore headphones and played loud music on highest. Like 2 years ago. And the next day I woke up with Vertigo dizziness. I did the lay back head back thingy and it fixed it on the first try. 2 years Later(today), I guess I didn't realize my music triggered it, so again (2 days ago from now) I put music on the loudest, I woke up the next day with dizziness! (Now i know its my loud headphone music doing it and will no longer listen to music with headphones) lol. The head back thingy didn't work 1st trythis time though, so i'll have to keep trying.
