Wheels are very good. Had them from EBay for about £80. They fold away lovely and don’t touch the engine when running. I left them down once and forgot about them when I’m the water. Was wondering why I was going slower. I’ll try and get a video made for you.
nice boat! Is it not too heavy to pull it back up the ramp for one person? I'm thinking of replacing my air floor 360 Zodiac with a T40 with alu floors but it's a lot heavier than an airfloor so I'm wondering how difficult it is to pull it up on steep ramps without a trailer?
It is heavy and any incline would be a struggle. I dont tend to move it far. The only reason I move it on the wheels is so the trailer doesn’t go in the salt water.
I’ve googled it a few times and can’t find many topics on towing with the engine on. I tow about 5 miles with the engine on and strapped down with bungees to stop the leg bouncing. It seems pretty stable when I’m towing to be honest. To be honest I’m not sure if it is recommended.
@@denzilthedestroyer5243 thanks for replying. Very informative, looks like a bad idea . 20 hp very awkward and heavy to be attaching and detaching all the time though :(
It’s a great engine. I gave it a full service when I had it and it’s has run very well. It is quite heavy lifting on and off the boat but manageable. If I had to replace it I would buy the same again.
With Honwave it’s recommended to remove the engine while trailering. The transom is made out of strong material, it’s not good though for the inflatable boat
Hi you do not need any licenses to take this on the sea but it is always good to go on a course and learn a few bits about safety at sea. Yes this is also fine for lakes and rivers

This video was great , the first I have seen on here of someone launching a T40 on transom wheels , and it looked like it went great, can you tell me how you get it out of the water ? It can’t be as easy up as it is down ?
Mike Otton thanks for watching. I drop the wheels down just before I land on the slipway. Then pull the boat out a few meters. Mainly to save dunking the trailer in the water. Once I get the front up onto the trailer I winch it up. It’s a bit difficult on my own but would be fine if I dropped the wheels of the trailer in the water.
Mike Otton I’m Very pleased with the boat. Just make sure the tubes are in a good condition and they hold the air. It’s a great boat. Mine is the aluminium floor and it’s is pretty sturdy. I haven’t had any experience with the air floor.
Lovley spot down there, I particularly enjoy the run up to the Cresselly Arms on a high tide.
Nice video! Where did you get that vertical hanging jerrycan?
I have the same 2006 model .Very easy to handle !
Have good seas my friend as we say here in Greece !
I find it great now I have the wheels on. Used it 3 times now and love it.
Stay safe. 🏴

Great boat, do you need a battery to be connected too the motor?
You can connect a battery for electric start but I use the pull start
How fast are you in your honwave t40 with the honda hp20 motor? Thank you

I’m 100% Honda fan. I have a Honwave with. 15hp electric start Honda with hydraulic assisted trim and tilt. It works perfectly in shallow water
How do you find it mate? I want one for sea fishing thsnks
I love it. Easy to handle and smooth when on the water. It will do 20 knots on a calm day. For me it’s perfect
Denzil The Destroyer would you recommend this size of the smaller one think it’s the t38 for solo thanks

Will the bouncing of the attached outboard while trailering damage the transom?
