Elisa Huberman The characters for How to Train your Dragon would mostly have to be statues or Anamatronics, which I don't think would work too well for this, but Kung Fu Panda could work really well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see if they expand the parade next year.
Anyone else think it was fun with lots of characters like last year? (Spongebob, Simpsons, Scooby Doo) They could of keeped that and add these as well.
Here's what my DreamWorks Animation Holiday Parade looks like: 1. Opening unit- Trolls Holiday special 2. Shrek the Halls 3. Merry Madagascar 4. Kung Fu Panda Holiday 5. Dragons: The Gift of the Night Fury 6. Rise of the Guardians 3.
I'm so glad that Lucy, King Julien, Gloria and Puss in Boots are there! Does that mean they are official greeting characters here in Orlando now? :D :D
We didn't get a chance to see until right after Christmas, and it seemed to be missing almost a number of the floats shown here. I really wasn't as impressed as I was in previous years with real Macy's sponsorship. And I really missed some parts, like the marching bands, big drum and flamingo riders.
Lorena Arias This was a media event to my understanding, So of course the park was empty and of course nobody was cheering, If you don't like this then even if universal put on the most amazing parade ever, it probably wouldn't impress you.
To be fair this was during a media event. HOWEVER I've been to several Disney media events and the crowd seems much more entertained while being made up of roughly the same crowd.
This parade is anemic..music too slow and no energy. It's the Xmas version of DLs 45th parade And horrible losing the old finale with the Rockettes and performers. That really made the parade
Merry Christmas everybody at Orlando uneveral studios
THE HOLIDAYS ARE HERE!
Wow it’s festive
Let the festivities begin!!!!
GREAT PARADE!!!!!!!!!
I'm glad they did this, the parade used to feel messy, now it's perfect, I can't wait to see it for myself
Gamer A. Messy? 🤔
Elisa Huberman having the regular day floats mixed with random Macy's floats, that had little to nothing to do with universal just felt messy to me
That sounds fantastic, but that could've been me. I would've done a DreamWorks Animation Holiday Parade with Rise of the Guardians and more.
Elisa Huberman they chose the most popular, being Madagascar, and shrek, I'd say they made good choices, and maybe could even add trolls in the future
Gamer A. And How to Train your Dragon
Elisa Huberman true, but that probably wouldn't translate into a christmas float too well
Gamer A. Not even based on the Gift of the Night Fury? Nor Kung Fu Panda Holiday?

Will they perform in the day
Zoinks! This is a long parade! I hope they do it twice daily.
MrDizneyKing no only once lmao
Are the Rockettes still a part of this?
No.

SailorMoonDisneyGirl626 we're really going to need a DreamWorks Animation venue at Universal Studios
Yep.
@@elisahuberman3408 you got your wish lol
It would be really nice to have Gru's wife Lucy for meet and greets at universal orlando!

We’re the girls in the snow flakes after the first float from Hhn lol
I'm inflatable Supplier, yes, we can make it.
This parade looks good but the music. Ughhh... It’s so slow and boring. Edit: Omg King Julian has his own float. Yessss!
Wow. That was lackluster. Even the performers looked bored.
I’m sorry, I find this very boring. And the park is empty! Nobody was cheering or shouting or anything. Too bad.

TJ Deitz just to clarify, I'm fine with people sharing there opinions, the second part of her comment came off as rude
This was recorded during a media preview we were invited to. The park was closed during this.
To be fair this was during a media event. HOWEVER I've been to several Disney media events and the crowd seems much more entertained while being made up of roughly the same crowd.
Gamer A. Most of the media, such as us, were busy filming and taking photos, so we weren’t going to cheer and clap.
The parade background music sucks. Needs to be more Christmas magical.
The floats and balloons were cool. Thanks for showing us this!
