Emma!! I want that Hunger Games steelbook collection soooo badly! There are some expensive listings on mercari and eBay that I keep looking at but I keep making other purchases and then being like, 'oh, I cannot get that right now.' but it's high on my wishlist!
this barely has to do with the actual movie but one of my favorite music artists, the kpop group Red Velvet, had a new album out this summer and the mv for the title track, Cosmic, is inspired by Midsommar. it works so well for their concept because certain songs and mvs of theirs have a creepy, unsettling tone. if you watch the Cosmic mv and want to see another I recommend Chill Kill.
17:21 & 18:05 that kind of effect where it looks like a moving picture or changing picture is called lenticular, btw. so you'd say it has a lenticular cover/slipcover.
This was a Saturday highlight. That Hitchcock collection had me drooling with envy. You have great taste in movies. I have most of them on regular DVD, but I make up for that in sheer quantity. Subscribing to Shudder gives me access to lots of titles I otherwise would have bought on DVD. At this point, I have way too much to watch. That's a problem I am happy to have. I also own many Steelbook movies. Also that Midsommar special edition. My sister sibling was visiting & looked through it & was appalled! She asked what is that? Why do you own that? You're going to hell for having that.
She is very religious though😵😂
Where did you buy the TS Blurays? Are they bootleg?
I bought them on ebay and I think so. they weren’t distributed by her.
