Longlegs was my standout of this month! Pretty solid month but I definitely found the crowd pleasing D&W and Twisters to be a lot more basic and average compared to more casual theater attendees
Deadpool & Wolverine will be my favorite for a long time. When Logan shouts at Deadpool in the car, I felt goosebumps! This moment felt ripped right from the comics. Truly epic & raw & authentic. My favorite scene, & of course after💥😂😂 P.S You're absolutely a cutie❤😱
I loved this! I need to rewatch Logan & I need to watch Deadpool & Wolverine since Wolverine is my favorite hero...but I honestly have no idea who Deadpool is. I have never watched any of his stuff. You have me intrigued with Longlegs.
I’m definitely adding both Shirley MacLaine movies to my list. I loved “The apartment” but my favorite of hers is “The Children’s hour” if you haven’t seen it yet I recommend it. “A raisin in the sun” is a great play, I need to re-read it since I haven’t read it since high school 20 years ago lol. My all time favorite play is “the glass menagerie” by Tennessee Williams I even got to see it performed on Broadway staring Zackary Quinto, and Cherry Jones. I recommend it as well.

I watched Twisters in 4DX. I highly recommend it! It really felt like you were in that environment with all the wind, the seats moving, and water splashing your face.
I also watched Postcards From The Edge last month and it made me want to watch Ricki and the Flash because Meryl plays a rockstar in it. I'm always impressed with her singing! Besides Mamma Mia, she also sings in Into The Woods (2014) but I have issues with that movie. As a film adaptation of the stage musical it's not good. But alright if you're not familiar with the full source. My favorite watches of July were Hester Street (1975), Between The Lines (1977), and Torment (L'Enfer) (1994). and the short film The Devil's Harmony (2019)!

Totally agree with you on A Raisin in the Sun. Love that one and I absolutely enjoyed MaXXXine!! I prefer Pearl more but I still enjoyed MaXXXine a lot. I was surprised how tuned down the nudity was in that film. I was expecting it to have much more but after watching it, I totally get why it was lacking in that department. Great movies overall!

I loved pearl too! I think it’s my fav out of the trilogy.
