Don’t get me wrong, Necro is amazing but Death will always be above them on my list. Not based on technicality but just the longevity and consistency in the songs that Chuck produced.

Any video of necrophagist is mind blowing, you'll always be scared of this man's musicianship, playing and singing together perfectly, while being the best of composers. Such a shame we don't have news of Muhammad, if only he knew the legend he has become in techdeath community. Its as bad as chuck's loss but we couldn't do shit about that but Muhammad is alive and well out there with the third album sitting in a hard drive. This stabs my heart several times everyday. At the expense of sounding hyperbolic this footage echoed in my memory like the fever dream of a death metal supergroup but seeing it again i think its more akin to a legendary flyby jazz show in which all of the stars were aligned and the penultimate lineup performed under the sleek and vivacious coat of just the right amount of heroin at the premium moment of their ability and exploration as it applies to all relevant art and music as a whole.
