How to Get Sudden Death in SoD
You get the Sudden Death Sudden Death rune (Back) at level 55 in Silithus in the Season of Discovery as follows:
Reach level 55 and make sure that your quest log isn’t full.
Find the Wandering Swordsman in Silithus. It has many spawn points in the zone, e.g. around 48.6 52.8, 34.8 27.4, 33.6 56.8, and 44.2 83.2.
Interact with Wandering Swordsman. You’ll get the quest QuestInfinite Midnight (requires level 55) and will be teleported to a platform.
Note: When a player challenges Wandering Swordsman, the mob despawns and respawns somewhere else ~3 min later.
Choose a difficulty level (Easy, Medium, Hard).
Several players have confirmed that you’ll get the rune regardless of the difficulty level (even if you choose Easy).
Defeat the Titanic Watcher and its adds.
Turn in the quest. As a reward, you’ll get Timeless Wanderer's Insights Timeless Wanderer's Insights from which you can learn the rune.
