    Fantastic deck tech mate. You’ll soon be getting many more subscribers with videos like this. I too saw this commander and thought it looks fun. Currently my favourite is Tor Wauki the younger but think this will be up there with it for me

      Appreciate the kind words! Tor Wauki seems like a blast, I’ve been having a lot of fun with my recently built Urabrask spellslinger. Not my typical play style but I do love mono red haha. Cheers

    This is a good deck for Bolas's Citadel as you're casting enchantments from the top for like 2/3 life each card then gaining life back based on what gets thrown out

    As another route to get out the big expensive curses, Songbirds' Blessing is a fantastic card.

    • @alexanderrolfes3304

      Also if you're gaining life consistently, Bolas's Citadel is another route to go to cheat out the expensive enchantments.

    I want to make a duel deck with Eriette just for fun really, curses like clawing torment, curse of leeches, curse of scarabs etc. then use say angels, sugar maw or gumdrops to finish them off.

    The new cards that make the Roles count too right? Think they're enchantment auras as well.

    • @levisdeckbox
      @levisdeckbox  Год назад +2

      They are! It could be an interesting deck I just haven’t seen any that I’d want to add to the deck, possibly once the commander decks are revealed :)

    • @alexanderrolfes3304
      @alexanderrolfes3304 Год назад

      One of the cards that I put in my deck that uses roles is Spellbook Vendor. It's good, but dependent on you having a larger creature presence than I think Eriette decks usually wants if that makes sense? Still a nice way to get extra auras on the field for Eriette's trigger. It has the additional bonus of giving you scry options if you're going a more voltron style build, or if you have a sneaky flyer or something else evasive that can consistently attack most combats.@@levisdeckbox

    You mentioned that Killian would reduce curses but a player is not a creature so those that target players will not be reduced by the 2 mana unfortunately. I still think Kilian is worth running give the amount of creature auras you are running but just wanted to point that out since you mentioned it reducing those curses.

    • @levisdeckbox
      @levisdeckbox  Год назад +1

      Oh yeah you’re totally right, that was definitely my bad lol. I agree he’s still worth running

      @levisdeckbox Wasn't really looking to call you out just didn't want anyone to be confused. But otherwise fun concept. I have a Grixis Lynde deck so you can say I am a bit of a curse fan.

      No I absolutely want people to point out if I make a mistake so everybody can learn together! I’m just some guy making magic videos so I’m definitely wrong sometimes haha. Curses are one of my favorite archetypes, I really hope they print more soon! Kinda surprised we haven’t seen any in the “sleep curse” set yet

    Does The Gaffer trigger, if both Eriette and him triggert at the beginning of the end step? Same goes for Markov Purifier, he also triggers at the beginning of the end step. I dont know if they trigger. I mean Eriette needs to triggert first at the beginning of the end step, does Gaffer and Purifier also trigger then, because the sequence in which they trigger seems to be not given. Maybe you can help me here :D

    • @levisdeckbox
      @levisdeckbox  Год назад +1

      Aw man you’re right! In his rules text on scryfall it says if you haven’t gained the life by the time the end step triggers, you don’t get the card draw. Oh well now there’s room for other cards haha

  • @givemebeans8519
    @givemebeans8519 Год назад +1

    Pretty sure the Gaffer does not work with Eriette. At the beginning of your end step, you have not gained the life yet, so the condition for the Gaffer is not met. By the time Eriette gains you life, the window for the Gaffer to draw has already passed. Cool list though!

    • @EMoney1295
      @EMoney1295 Год назад

      Since they both trigger at the beginning of end step, pretty sure he could stack the triggers resolve the life gain first and then the gaffer

    • @TheDevonshireMint

    Absolutely going to need protection like ghostly prison. Assuming there is not a clear archenemy at the table, curse tribal will make you archenemy.

    • @levisdeckbox
      @levisdeckbox  Год назад

      I suppose so, I’m not sure enemies B and C will make you archenemy if you have your curses stacked on enemy A you know. But definitely ghostly prison style effects are very useful
