There are few things you will have to keep in mind for giving HJS exam while being in lower judiciary. 1. Before exam what actual seats have been allocated by the HC for lower judiciary candidates. Suppose there are 30 seats overall , few of them will be for civil judges others for advocates . As it has been recently adjudged by the Hon'ble SC that in service officers can't compete for seats reserved for advocates. ..so they are very few as it depends on cadre size. 2. Different states have different criteria, like in rajsthan it is mandatory for a person to have previous 5 year's ACR atleast as very good . 3. Age should be atleast 35.

@@kushalsr and from where did you get your facts? I got mine from experience after being part of Judiciary for 20+ years and living in 12 different districts until now. I have seen 100s of couples who are judges and they are posted in the same district. So please cross check your facts. I have seen only one exception until now but that too when both are District Judge level so they can't be posted in the same district as a District Judge so they got neighbour districts. That's why i think i have my facts right.

Yeah slow down. Enjoy your school life, it won't come back. You just need 1-2 years for preparation. Current affairs of around 8-12 months are asked in the paper why do you want to start your preparation right now when you will be giving your paper 7-8 years later.
I don't know Who are you but nothing is possible by craming the facts. These basic thing told to us from childhood but why are you saying that by doing craming or mug up the facts you become Civil judge. You are not only even to become to become advocate by craming. And news paper and gk portion also played very vital role especially in pcs or civil services exam. Imagine if you don't have the habit to read newspaper or current affairs, then your vocabulary is zero, your speaking and listening skills is zero then how is possible to become Civil judge. One should give judgement in English how one should give it if there is no role of newspapers and current affairs. If I am wrong can you explain me why and where I have mistaken. I am not argumenting, I am just asking whether you agree or not if not then plz guid me. I am in 11 class and after 12 I want to give clat exam, from childhood till now , not even I touch any newspaper, I am totally begneer to read newspaper and current affairs which also play role in clat exam. I am not argumenting, I am just asking whether you agree or not if not then plz guid me. I am in 11 class and after 12 I want to give clat exam, from childhood till now , not even I touch any newspaper, I am totally begneer to read newspaper and current affairs which also play role in clat exam. One section is gk and current affairs. I ask you when I will start my preparation whether in 11 or after 12 .
