We took a Ruby Princess cruise which wasn't nearly as long. You might know a bit about that cruise.
Ketchican - never saw so many eagles than when we pulled into this town.
Nice excursions that I don't remember seeing before.
Seems to me that Mrs Backroads Tourist has a bit of Iditarod in her ancestral history?
Looks like it was great fun!

I enjoyed your video very much. Thank you. My family and I will be heading to Alaska on the Crown Princess this summer from San Francisco. I have heard negative things about boarding there. Since you recently embarked there any tips you can give? What time would you suggest we arrive there! We will be taking an Uber there

Once you get onboard, you'll have a great time! I'd recommend getting there as early as you can. We took a cab and the congestion at the port was pretty bad. It took a few minutes just to make the turn into the drop off area. If it's the same as when we were there a year ago, the first thing you'll want to do is find the line to drop off your luggage. Once you get that done, go through the terminal, security, etc. and you shouldn't have much trouble. When we were there there was nobody giving directions or telling people what to do or where to go. Good luck! Have a wonderful cruise and thanks for watching!

New subscriber here. I enjoyed your review, we cruised the Inside Passage in September '19 on HAL prior to covid. Brings back many happy memories. Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺

Thank you so much for the knid words and thanks for watching. My wife and I visited Australia in early 2020 just before the pandemic hit. We absolutely loved it and would love to come back and visit again!
