Today I'm sharing what I think and miss about Sweden when I don't longer live there as well as what I think and miss about Poland.
I was born in Sweden to a Polish family but now I live in Poland, Warsaw with my husband :).

Hej Agnes, jag håller med dig till 100%. Jag bor i Stockholm sedan 16 år tillbaka. Ur ett polskt perspektiv har jag samma observationer. Jag älskar Sverige och Polen finns i mitt hjärta. Naturligtvis finns det positiva och negativa i varje land, det är viktigt att hitta en balans i det hela. Med vänlig hälsning och tack för videon.

Pole here. I agree about tap water... but if think in Poland is bad, try i.e in uk(lived in London)

As a dutchie I object about the tapwater ! Then again, never tasted Swedish tapwater so you could be right 😜

Small town has very nice tap water here in polandia because water is taking from wells only the big cities got shit water taking from rivers
Hello Rob, we take "woda oligocenska" since some time living in a big city and it is very nice. But tap water is awful

Ilse has been to Poland several times and has the same impression of Poland. I've wanted to go to Sweden for a long time in the summer 🚴🏻♀🚴🏻She has concerns about many mosquitoes in the summer. Is that true or is it just a rumour?

Glad it was interesting :0. There are a lot of mosquitoes in Sweden, especially in the north. It's a real plague. The more up north the more. Sweden is stunning!! And peaceful.(But very expensive). I loved travelling there. Maybe you can check out my Swedish road trip playlist on this channel, to see a little bit of southern Sweden :-)). We went a few years ago and we both loved it! (I hadn't visited those places either) My husband was previously only in Stockholm to see where I lived and grew up. I need to talk to Ilse one day and hear her experience of Poland hehe ;-). @@agnesskibicka Thanks Agnes, we'll watch the road trip later. Ilse liked Poland very much. She is from Upper Silesia across Poland. She was also in Warsaw on a later trip. Via Zoom or so it will certainly be possible to talk 🤗

Until you mentioned it Agnes, I hadn't thought about it but I miss English tap water. I moved to Spain three years ago. I never bought bottled water in England as you could drink from the tap.

The taste of the water depends on the region and the water supply. I don't know where you live, but nature is also great in Poland outside of cities. Social assistance should not be at a high level, because it is harmful - people lose self-preservation inclination in my opinion :)

Cieszę się, że mogę z Tobą porozmawiać na parę choćby tematów - zważywszy, że zapoznałem się Twoimi wypowiedziami - nie wszystkimi, ale choćby z tego tu Twojego nagrania, a będę starał się odtwarzać nagrania następne - te dawniejsze i nowe. Dziękuję, że mogę mieć taką możliwość. To ciekawe spostrzeżenia, które odzwierciedlają punkt widzenia i mój, choć postaram się dodać to, co w Szwecji dało mi się zauważyć, a więc ludzie, jacy w Szwecji są, o wodzie mam ciekawą uwagę - nie w kranie, bo z kranu jest napewno wyjątkowo smaczna, ale w jeziorach. Dlaczego w napotkanych przeze mnie jeziorach regionu Skane, woda na barwę brunatną? Owszem, ta jeziorna woda jest z pewnością pitna dla zwierząt, ale bałem się w niej nawet wymoczyć i ochłodzić zmęczone nogi, całodzienną jazdą rowerem. Natomiast ślady na brzegu jeziora świadczyły, że jest to wodopój dla misiów. Dlatego zrezygnowałem z moczenia nóg, zmywając się z tego miejsca czym prędzej. W innych napotkanych jeziorach woda była też koloru beż;-))). Sprawy medyczne. Nieopodal Kalmar spotkałem Polaków pracujących na dużym obszarze ogrodniczym, przy zbiorze warzyw. Było zimno i deszczowo i błoto straszne, a pracujący w tych warunkach Polacy byli w dobrym nastroju. Od nich dowiedziałem się, że w Szwecji co trzeci lekarz jest Polakiem. To tyle na teraz, a jeśli na to pozwolisz, to będzie ciąg dalszy mojej pisaniny. Dodam, że w/w uwagi to zaledwie mały ułamek tego, co w Szwecji dało mi się zobaczyć i poznać. Pozdrawiam.
Bardzo dziękuję za długi ciekawy komentarz :-). Tak jeziora w Szwecji czasem mają kolor rdzy, powodem jest chyba rodzaj lasu wokoło oraz też oczywiście użytkowanie. Pozdrawiam serdecznie 😊 I cieszę się że moje filmy się podobają!! Życzę dobrego dnia!!

Dzień dobry. Rzeczywiście - rozpisałem się chyba - aż zanadto. Postaram to pisanie ograniczyć nieco. Rdzawa woda w jeziorach, to chyba odosobniony przypadek i nie ma tam takich wiele. wydaje mi się, że ta barwa jest skutkiem dużej zawartości żelaza w glebie, wszak w Szwecji są największe pokłady rudy żelaza i innych pierwiastków, które zmieniają barwę wód w niektórych jeziorach.
Przemierzając rowerem południową Szwecję, dominuje monotonia widoków - lasy ciągną się nieskończenie. Inaczej jest z pewnością na północy, gdzie nie byłem. Objechałem natomiast wszystkie znaczące wyspy szwedzkie. Raj dla rowerzystów i wogóle podróżujących turystów. Polecam. Pozdrawiam. Miłego dnia życzę.

With the Health Care in Sweden l think you are talking about what we describe as "clouded vision" or "tunnel vision" this is called Implicent biases which involves association outside concious awareness that lead to a negative evaluation of the Patient based on irrelevant characteristics such as race, gender, social, emotional or financial factors that influence the Health Care Professionals attitude, investigations, diagnosis and inevitable treatment as they have already subconsciously put a pre determined "label" on the Patient without even bothering to explore other possible causes of the complaint. It is a real problem in Countries with "Free" or heavily subsidised government healthcare like Australia or the UK, in Countries where it's a "user pays" system (or private healthcare system) they are much much more likely to order a long list of sometimes unnecessary investigations at you or your insurance companies expense like the US or India in private care providers. Sorry this was a long response to a short video but l hope it might make sense 👍

Agnes, napiszę do Ciebie, ale zapytam - czy znasz pisany język polski? Łatwiej było by mi wyrazić to, co chciałbym Tobie przekazać. (W Szwecji byłem turystycznie, dodam) Jeśli nie, to napiszę do Ciebie po ....szwedzku, albo po angielsku, choć będzie mi to trochę trudniejsze, ale - dam radę. @@agnesskibicka Dzień dobry. Cieszę się, że będę mógł podzielić się swoimi spostrzeżeniami dot. Szwecji i Szwedów. Wstępnie dodam, że najbardziej pozytywne wrażenia z moich licznych podróży rowerowych po Europie, odniosłem właśnie ze Szwecji. Przyroda w Szwecji i ludzie. O tym napiszę.

I don't think that's what she means.
In the US you don't really have a social welfare system and if you're poor or don't earn enough,you're screwed.
If you get sick or need treatment you're screwed.You need to earn a lot and have expensive private insurance or you'll be homeless and in poverty very quick.This bring a lot of stress to low income earners. Nobody wants their Gov' to take care of them until they lose their job,house health etc...that's what the welfare system is there for.
What would you prefer?
That won't happen in Sweden because they have an advanced welfare/ healthcare system ,one of the best in the world,where their Gov' will help you,if or when you need it.
You can still be free and independent there!
@@alwayslearning7672 the "poor" in the US get everything handed to them; as a matter of fact, there are no truly poor in the US. You aren't poor if you have an iPhone. Also, people ARE DEFINITELY NOT free in Sweden. There have been videos on that. I see you haven't watched those. So it's best not to comment on things you don't know.
